((Omg! You guys are like... the definition of evil! 100+ pages on a laptop? gonk ))
Brooke caught Rellick's gaze, flashing a toothy grin at him. They were actually leaving for their new home. She pranced in excitement. There was something in Rellick's eyes, though. A question, perhaps, that Brooke could not read. She stared at him curiously for a moment more, and then shook and her head and blew a raspberry, as if to keep a bug away.

Rell caught her gaze and snickered at her, prancing in place for a few moments. He drew in a breath, held it for a few heartbeats, then released it with a sigh.
It was time to go to his new home. Brooke would be comming with him, and Areli wanted to..
'What if they don't like it?'

'Huh? Why would we even think about going with you if we weren't sure that you would of found someplace awesome?' Brooke quirked an eyebrow ((which I think they have...?)). 'Don't like it, indeed.' She grinned at him and rolled her eyes.
((Would you like her as queen, despite the fact that she's still smallish...? blaugh ))

And why is something telling me that Amaree would be queen if she could leave the clow? lol....
Maybe brook could be like, the one that helps with the cubs... I know that Areli, well, I want her to be Hunt leader.... lol.... Hehe, Queen would be awsome, but I think all girls think that XD]

((Just to make it Clear.. Queen- as a position- Will not be even remotely open until Rellick Reaches Adulthood.. And the Females do as well... For now.. Ranking can just be a member as Brooke is still a cub... And Areli would have rights to Hunt Mistress, as she is a teen.. Amaree has not joined yet.. But she is still a teen, and not yet elligible for Queenship. So.. If you want to Join, fill out the form and PM it to me... and WHEN the Queen Role becomes available.. You may send me a message saying you are interested... If there are multiple interests.. We shall figure something out...
Also.. That was Rellick thinking... But ok))
Rellick grinned at Brooke and gave a shrug... "I'm a new King.. Cut me some slack will ya?"
He grinned. "I just want everyone to be happy.. I don't have to be rational about it..."

Rellick swatted at her and shook his head, breaking into a run towards his new lands. The wind danced around him, and the sun shining down on his scarlet coat made him want the cool shade of his caves.
"I'm going home."

Rellick gave a deep laugh, truly amused at her wording, and glanced over a crimson shoulder at her. Noticing that she was running, he stretched out his body and sped up, shaking his head and beaming.
"Catch up little cub! I'll race you around the lake!" He called with a saucy grin and a superior tone. "Last one there eats bugs for dinner! What do ya say to that Brooke!?"

'I don't eat bugs, thank you, Rellick!' She said, in her most prim and snobby voice. She raced after Rellick. 'But you can, if you're so desperate to lose!'
She lengthened her stride, stretching out as she settled into the run. It was fun enough. And perhaps eating bugs wasn't the worst way to pay for being the slower runner. After all, it was still... food. She didn't fancy it though, and she reckoned she would enjoy it more if she weren't the one forced to eat them. She giggled to herself at the thought of Rellick eating bugs. It would be a sight worth seeing.

Rellick gave a hearty laugh.
"Weeeeeell!" He exclaimed as she pulled along side. "I can't believe the Queen of the World would call me a loser!"
He gave a roar and sped up, keeping them even all the way to his cave.
"Looks like no bugs will be eaten after all... "

Brooke shrugged, panting slightly from their run.
'I don't know about you, but I was looking forward to watching you eat bugs!' She joked. 'I mean, really, imagine you, a great king... Eating bugs!' Brooke burst out laughing at the image again. 'That would of been so fun!'

Rellick grinned and flopped down in the shade of his cave, sighing as the cool sand and stone met his warm coat. He gave a laugh and a shrug.
"I am a King..." He agreed. "But I am not yet great, nor am I a bug eater."
He laughed and rolled over onto his back. "And there is no "yet" about the bug-eating part."
The sun slunk toward the end of the sky, darkness stretching into the lands. Rellick jumped up.
"Brooke... Come with me." He smiled, and led the way out of the cave, turning abruptly and beggining to climb up the outside, leaping from small ledge to small ledge. He headed toward the top, glancing back down at her. "HURRY!"

'Aww, don't say that! You never know, you just might become a bug-eater, eh?' She grinned, and sank into a lazy stretch. She often felt like this near the end of the day, as the sun disappeared into the horizon. She was about to flop down when Rellick leapt up. Curiously, she followed him up the ledges, balancing easily. 'Where are we going?'

As they reached the top of the cave, Rellick gave a loud roar, smiling at his lands. The sinking sun painted his Pride a bloody red, and streaked with with Shadowy black.
The surrounding lands touched with gold, orange and yellow, a typical sunset, but in Rellick's Lands-Scarlet Shadows- the light wavered, changed, shining deep reds and shadowing as dark as pitch.
"Welcome to Scarlet Shadows Brooke." He smiled at the little cub. "What do you think?"
