Vincent is not emo, nor goth, he's just had a rough past. I mean, i'd be the same if I lost the woman I loved and had crazy awesome powers like he does.

I don't think he fits into any stereotype at all. He may have been very sad and all, but he had the strength to get up and try and do something instead of just wallowing. Somehow I've always seen him as very kind underneathe all that aloofness. Yes I do think he would like kittens/cats just not in the way we do with the "OMGZ *SQUEEAAAL* SO CUUUUUTE!".

I think he's stuck in the middle- a place of nothing. He has his emo moments yes, but all in all, his past explains for all of that (not just the whole "I'm going to cut myself because I want attention" thing). He's certainly not prep- oh lord no. The whole "dark mysterious" look could be interpreted as goth, but I don't think he tips the scale to that extreme.

I think Vincent was supposed to be goth. This is mainly because emo didn't exist when the game came out and the fact that he's truely "dark". Vincent also gives off a kind of vampire feel like goths would. He does not cut his wrists like emo kids and doesn't write poetry. But this topic has given me an idea for a fanfitcion, too bad I'm already writing something else. crying
