Monkeyluver9 Yeah. I'm listening to them right now too. PEte wentz iz sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo HOTT. I know I'm stating the obvious but I mean really. HE IS! and Infinity on High is such a good album. LOVE IT. Urgh... okay well that's your opinion. But every girl I know who has commented on this band has said they're pretty ugly as far as looks are concerned. But anyhoo... I'd say they're actually one of my favourite bands as far as my pop rock collection goes. They COULD DEFINITELY DO with more instrumental hooks though, the vast majority of their hooks seemingly come from Pete alone.

I accually found there video kind of comical with the simians. But I still can't quite listen to them without thinking to myself that all those bands sound too similar to me. Within the past month or so, I have somewhat calmed down on my ideas of most of the mainstream pop-rock. But alot of the opiinions seem to be the same to me. I mean... All you really need is something that draws a particular audience, such as a female audience that will be emotional, an interesting beat or sound and a chorus that will be able to stay in your head. Even now I can't get that damn song from MCR out of my head. But it's true that it's catchy. Not good. But if it stays with you I suppose.

thanks for that link. That is really informative stuff. heh. I will have to show some freinds this and ask there opinions. I personally like it. Makes me laugh
I love the references to some bands though. Like the lyrics part for FOB and the hair for Gerard. that's quite hilerious if you ask me.
Why do you think they are above the theory? I haven't heard all of there music yet, only enough to say that I can't listen to any more. So I am somewhat curious as to why you would say that?

Well I don't think FOB band members are very attractive... though I'm a guy and fairly straight (most of the time ninja ) so meh. But I was referring to spectrum given on that site:
Songs that are too shitty to care about

Songs that you secretly listen to
|
12 year old girl music
|
Songs that are so incredibly s**t that you'll actually devote time to bash
On that scale, I would actually place FOB on above the "12 year old girl music" spectrum. Personal discretion of course smile

well don't girls find the bass player(I think it's the bass player) to be attractive? I am straight as well. But I can only imagine what most of the girly types think of guys who wear too much makeup and put more than a healthy dosage of hair gell. See the Casualties for reference. heh
Hm. interesting spectrum. I wonder where I would consider them. My tastes have been changing around so much lately that I can't tell. lol. But I guess I'm somewhere in the 12 year old girl catagory.

I personally haven't met any girls who find the bassist attractive. Some have said Patrick is chubby-cute... but the rest??? Anyhoo, this is just opinion so we can go on for ages.

I'll be honest. I don't really see any sort of.. I guess attraction toward any of the members. Maybe it's becaue I'm straight or have different tastes. I kind of think that whole "chubby-cute" thing is funny. even though from what I saw from him, he's not cute in any sense of the word.

If you listen to the lyrics [most people don't so xp ], its just plain funny.
Now as far as them not being punkrock or whatnot. That's just a bunch of bullshit and caca. Come on, who still labels people? that's so judgmentaland wrong. That's one of the main reasons why the Dixie Chicks were taken off air. That's why the U.S. has so many goddamned problems. We're allowed to practice our own way of life, then someone has a fricking problem with it, and then we're persuected. So what if FOB isn't punkrock Music is music, it doesn't matter what genre it is. scream evil

FOB's new stuff is actually really REALLY good musically. I love their latest cd, although their oldest cd is still the best. Kinda mainstream, but still awesome. Gotta love it, and patrick stump is adorable. lol heart heart
