Akitana stirred from her sleep with an uneasy feeling. Something in her heart stirred her to unrest, and she woke with a soft gasp.
The soft glow of Sabastian, her mate and King, was nowhere to be seen, and this in itself worried her. With a soft mewl, she called to him, but heard nothing. Insects and various nightlife called, but she ignored it all, turning to check her young.
Curled to her belly, three cubs slept. She nosed them gently. Issaria, a white female with blue forelegs gave a soft mewl and batted at her mother's nose in sleep. Salania, the coral female, merely slept on. Adit Akash, the 'trouble maker' of the litter, slept soundly as well.
Aki searched the cave. Where was the fourth?
"Hinhallow?" She murmured, catching sight of the white male sitting in the moonlight. "Hinhallow."
On quiet paws she padded away from her children, striding to her fourth son, his father's image, or near enough. She nosed him, and then picked him up by the scruff. "To bed with you.."
As she deposited him with his siblings, she wondered where her mate had gone. "Sabastian..."

Having woken up a few hours sooner Sabastian himself had noticed Hinhallow had gone and wandered off from the litter. Honestly having wanted to just go back to sleep if it had been any other thing that had woke him up, this he just couldn't have; his cubs wandering off in the middle of the night worried him with his bounderies not secured fully. Who could say for sure if Mika or worse was nearby to pray upon the fragile cub. So taking to his feet he ran off. smelling and searching for any signs of his way-ward cub.

Hinhallow waited until his mother's back was turned before scampering out into the night again, having hidden when his father had woken. He smiled as she searched for Sabastian, and gave a little shrug. 'Dunno where he went.' His mind giggled, and he was off.
With a pounce, he trotted through the grasses to a small rock outcropping he had found while playing. With a wiggle of his rear end and a leap he clambered up the side and settled atop it, peering up at the stars.

Worried, Sabastian continued to search the areas for his son. In a small bit of a panic he returned to where Aki and the rest of the cubs were. Seeing his queen awake he froze, the look on his face said it all--Hinhallow was missing. Slowly approching the group he quietly whispered as to not wake the other cubs, "Aki... I can't find him ....."

Aki, relieved to see that Sabastian was all right, froze.
"He.. He's not with you?" She whispered. "I had him here a moment ago, I thought he had seen you comming and went out to greet you... "
Issaria woke and batted at her father's paw, giving him a sleepy smile. "Hullo Daddy." She mewed. "Is it time to get up already?"

"He.. He's not with you?" She whispered. "I had him here a moment ago, I thought he had seen you comming and went out to greet you... "
Issaria woke and batted at her father's paw, giving him a sleepy smile. "Hullo Daddy." She mewed. "Is it time to get up already?"

Aki held her tongue as Sab reassured Issaria.
"Ok Daddy." Issaria murmured with a smile and another yawn. "See you in the sun..."
With a little wag of her tail she curled into a ball and went back to sleep.
"He must be just outside." Aki murmured. "He can't have gone far..."
She shook her head. "I was hoping we'd only have one adventurous cub."
She glanced at Adit Akash.

"That's what I'm hoping for... but for now theres a few things that we should take care of..... remember love?" he softly asks while giving Issaria a soft lick before gazing back to his queen. "I just hope that your mother answeres my call when I call for her.... and..." he pauses while looking off into the distance. "And hopefullly not your brother." he adds, his voice growing a bit cold at the idea of having to deal with Mika once again

Sabastian returns from the edge of the desert kingdom with Adit Akash dangling carefully from his maw. Setting the cub down on the ground he sighs and than states,"Adit.. its bad enough that i'm not sure where your brother is... But when you had followed your mother and I you had put yourself into extream danger..... Please could you stay out of trouble?"
Adit whines a bit in protest and than sulks just a bit before nodding, "I underdstand da.... I'm sorry." he whimpers before laying back down near his sisters.....
Sabastian sighs and glances over to Akitana, "Well, what do you want to do about hinhallow love?" he asks as he begins to search the areas around where the cubs sleep

Aki shook her head at her lavender son, eyeing him as her mate searched the nearby area. "I don't know darling.. I haven't any idea where he could have gone."
Issaria woke with a yawn.
"Where's Hin?" She asked sleepily. "He's usually my pillow."
Aki smiled and nosed her daughter. "He went for a walk dear."
"He's prolly at the star rock." She mewled. "He goes there to think..."
Aki glanced at her mate, then back to her cub. "Star rock? What star rock baby?"
Issa gave a little mewling stretch.
"Its just through the stretch of grass." She muttered, pointing toward the west. "There's a big grey rock, and theirs a few scratches in it that look like star-shapes... Hin and I found it when we were playing hide/seek with Adit..."
She eyed her brother. "He won...."

Adit glances back at his sister and sticks his tongue out just a bit as if to say that he really didn't care.... He was such a bratt sometimes, this was one of those times....
"hmmmm Star Rock?" Sabastian muses while thinking, "I think I've seen it once before... When I was younger. It was an intreaging place." Sabastian nudges Issaria with his muzzle, "thank you sweet heart...." he coos into her ear. Glancing back up to Aki he smiles, "wanna hand it this time, or shall I?" he asks softly.

Akitana smiled at her mate and nosed her cubs. "Watch them for me? Unless you know exactly where it is.. We could both go...."
Issa sat up. "I can make sure Adit doesn't run away."

Sabastian glances over to Issa and nods, "Keep a keen eye on your brother babe, he can be a wily one..." Glancing up to his mate and queen, he nods, "We could go together...." he pauses with a smile, "Star Rock, as the children has named it was a place I wanted to show you when we were younger." He smiles and than starts to move in the direction of Star Rock.
Adit glares at issa for a moment then to his parents as they leave, "NO FAIR! he can go to star rock but I can't right now? Why?" he fusses and than swats at Issa's tail, as if trying to occupy his time untill he finds just the perfect moment to wander off once again

Akitana arched a brow at her mate. "Oh? You can be so sweet Sabastian." She smiled. "Let's go to it then. Issa, be good for me."
Issaria sat up on her hind legs and waved her parents off, spinning on her brother when he batted at her tail. "Hin doesn't 'get' to go.. He left.. He snuck out! You got caught this time.. What did you see?"
Now came the real reason she had offered to guard him, she wanted to know where he had been.
