My turn!

Good day, all. I am Flynn, and am generally called that, unless the mood seizes you to shout "Macca" in my general direction. No, my last name is not really MacCallister: that would be foolishness. I am Australian, of Irish background.

Like Drago, I also dress up in funny costumes and beat the crap out of my friends, but I'm not an SCA'er. I'm from the other group, the ones who gatecrash the Mediaeval Festival and run around waving wooden swords, or a complicated variation on bamboo sticks, shouting gibberish, while wearing indigo (or indigo-and-white) uniforms that look like skirts, but aren't. Yeah. I play Kendo.

I shall properly complete my first year of university in four days, when my exams finish. I am studying science, with the intention of majoring in physics.

I am rather nearly obsessed with steampunk, (enough so that these make me drool), both as a genre and as a subculture. My first taste of steampunk came with my first taste of DnD, when I was roped into playing in the Iron Kingdoms Witchfire Trilogy campaigh. DnD, I could take or leave. Steampunk? I've been in love ever since.

What else... My most useless skill is probably being able to speak Latin; I have studied classical piano since I was about six; I watch anime, but am miles off being an otaku; and I seem to be writing a list, in spite of the fact I generally have quite an aversion to them.
