Abasi walked through the savannah grass, red and blue tail flicking idly behind him. He scanned the area of the pride, searching for any other lions, and mainly Jalara, he hadn't seen the queen since the day before.

The white and gray lioness lay stretched out in the golden grass. She watched a ladybug crawl up a young green stalk. Even though she had found a mate and was Queen, she was still sad. She missed her cubs, missed Ceari and Eupe. Keelih was fine with her father but...

Abasi walked up behind the lioness and nuzzled her, "You miss your children" He layed and looked at her. He could tell, it was the only thing she was concerened about earlier. "They could have come, and you can still visit them, if the alpha of the pride that they're in allows, which I am sure he will.." A sincere smile apeared on his face.

Jalara raised her head, returning the nuzzle. "Akintunde will let them when they are old enough." Letting herself smile she raised herself into a sitting position. "This is a nice place, Abasi. I love it."

Far off, Ashura layed in the long grass, a yawn excaping a dark red maw.

Through the grasses, an orange cub trotted along. A strange movement caught his eye, and he began to move slower and closer to the ground. His eyes narrowed, focused on his insect prey and unaware of the nearby pride.
The insect sat on a large rock, out in the open. Right where Jachai wanted it to be. He lowered himself further in the position to pounce, adjusting his every muscle for an optimal leap.
"Ha!" He shouted triumphantly, leaping up into the air. To his surprise, the cub did not reach his target, but instead had overshot his jump and tumbled down the other side of the rock onto the ground.

Ayana turned her head to look at the male cub, "Jachai!" A grin appeared on her face as she trotted over to him, "Welcome to the pride. Shall we go find Abasi my dear?"

Jachai got up, trying to be dignified after his failure at catching the insect.
"Sure!" He answered with a smile, stepping closer to Ayana.

"Alright, he should be around here somewhere..." Ayana looked around..
Abasi walked up beside them, "I'm right here" He bent down and looked to Jachai, "You must be Jachai, welcome to the pride"

"Oh, okay," Jachai smiled, "Nice to meet you too, Abasi." His tail gently flicked from side to side with the happiness of being in the pride.

Jachai smiled wider and then rubbed up against Ayana's legs. He looked up at Abasi once more, "So... what's there to do around this place? Besides hunting bugs... I tried to do that earlier but it didn't work out so well..."
