Hmm, I've always loved Vivaldi, though I like Dvorak and Bach a lot too. I like predictability in songs, where everything flows naturally and you know exactly where it's going. That is beauty to my ears.

I love tchaikovsky, especially his ballets. Also Rimsky-Korsakov and Dvorak. I like them so much because...wull...it's hard to explain. I think their music has more character than composers like Bach or Handel because it's easy to feel things and picture things when you're playing their music or dancing to it. And so much of Tchaik and Korsakov's music can really make you feel Russia.
I don't like Bach or Mozart very much because most of their music just sounds all the same. Especially their quartet music. If you've heard one song, you've heard them all. Not exciting at all, boring to dance to.

I have found myslf rather attached to Mozart, but I must say my soul and hart belongs to Vavaldi. Probably because it was all my mom used to play all day when I was little. I like Chopin to but in a very gener al sense, if i have nothung else to listen to I'll listen to him. xp

My favorite composers are Dvorak, Haydn, and Puccini. My favorite pieces for each are Theme from the "New World Symphony," Surprise Symphony, and O Mio Babbino Caro. They are all beautiful. I also love music by Seitz.

Heh. O Mio Babbino Caro is indeed a lovely piece. I could be mistaken, (ie. I'm too lazy to get up and check) but I think I have a recording of Joshua Bell playing that song on the violin. I've actually never heard it in its original format, though.
And of course The New World Symphony and the Surprise Symphony... well... I've played the Surprise Symphony so often on both violin and piano that the piano part sometimes flashes before my eyes in times of stress. xd

I love to play Mozart and Seitz pieces. My favorites to listen to are Debussy, Ravel, Satie, and Pachebel (simply because Canon in D will probably always be my all time favorite classical piece; I don't think I will ever get sick of listening to it!).

If I had to pick a favourite composer, I'd pick George Gershwin. I just love his style, and his music, and how there is a lot of colour in his writting. He's great! biggrin

What a tough question! Well, I love Vivaldi (he was my first love as a composer) but it usually depends on the era. Dvorak kicks butt, especially with Symphony 9, but another favorite is Shostacovitch (I don't know how to spell that at all). You can never go wrong with Tchakovsky - he's just pure genius. AGGHHH! Can't decide!
