Late one night you decide to go explore the forest. As you go deeper into the forest you notice fog forming around you making it hard to find the way you came to leave. After several minutes of trying to find your way out you notice a small opening in the fog, as you move through the peculiar opening you notice that the fog seals off the entrance but starts form walls around you making a long narrow path.
Curiously you fallow the path that the fog has formed, taken not of the fog closing in behind you as you walk. After walking for 20mins you see an large opening not far ahead. Going though it you find yourself in an unknown clearing that seem to be glowing a pale red. Looking up you notice that the red glow is coming from the full moon hanging in the sky that is blood red.
Bring you attention back to the clearing, you notice a shadowy figure standing in the center, glaring at you.
“You must be a shaman, if you have came to this place,” the figure says in a stern, yet amused voice. “Well then, I wont waste you time with meaningless talk.. This clearing is a entrance to the spirit world. Both spirits of good and evil gather here.” He explains to you, then grins, “I am here to test those shaman you come here. If I deem them worthy I can reward them with tools that could one day help them,” he laughed “and just maybe one of those whom I test will be able to take me as their guardian…” he paused smiling evilly. “But so far none have been able to impress me that much.”
“The test that I am to give you, is that you must tell me my name and what I did that got me killed.” He laughed again. “I will answer only 5 questions, but I may or may not tell the truth or the whole thing. I don’t plain on making this easy for anyone. Also you will only have one guess, no more no less.”



Svetlana studied the figure in front of her curiously. She really hated things like this. She could never think of good questions. Shaking her head she grinned. "I take it if i asked you what your name was and how you died you wouldn't tell me would you? Nevermind. That's not my first question."

Shaking her head she thinks, Why do I feel like the girl in Rumpelstiltskin?. Svetlana stood still dozens of questions running through her head. For the life of her she was having a hard time choosing which would be the best ones to asked. "Was your death good? I mean was it quick or did you suffer?"

Studying the spirit in front of her Svetlana looked slightly amused. "You seem rather glad about that. Which most people would consider weird. Ok then...next question. You're a guardian now so I'm guessing you were a fighter of some sort when alive. Most guardians have to fight in some way. What was your preferred means of fighting?"

Svetlana tugs on her hair and chews her lip as she thought. She decided to switch from his death to his name. "Swords, painful but quick death, other's watched your surffering. Did your birthname fit you? As in my name means light which rather fits."

Svetlana looked delighted. Laughing warmly. "Blood lust! And you were a fighter. That's perfect! Remind me not to piss you off, k? Now let's see...what's another good question? What was the year you died?"

"So...what did you do that got you killed?" Svetlana really didn't expect him to flat out tell her but she was very curious as to what he might actually say.

Well I made my guess at who he was. Actually I didn't make a guess. I didn't have one little clue at all. Even when one of the other shaman did guess who he was I found that I have never heard that name before so that makes me feel a little better. I guess it's best he goes to someone who knows who he is. Pity though...I did like him. Oh well maybe next time.
