"Your allowed to enter the land. We will see about your loyalty." He nodded his head, stepping back he made room for the other male to move forward. He wondered what this male would think of his sister, Niobe was a lovely lioness yes, but not many understood the sad air about her.
He flicked his tail, his eyes moved off the male and towards the caves. He wondered where she'd gotten off to. "Welcome to my kingdom. Hopefully you'll be able to make your new life here. I am Benoni." He wouldnt mention he didnt have a Queen, that was no ones business.

Mandolin followed him respectfully and bowed to him slightly. "Thank you for your gracious welcome. Tell me if there is anything you need of me and I will do it if I can."

The hyena winced as it felt the skin and fur being sliced under Niobe's strike. Spinning around to see who was the attacker, the hunter saw it's life turning backwards and become hunted, the teasing grin vanishing and turning into a pleading wallow. "Oh, Mrs Lion, how nice of you to have appeared... I was just guiding... yeah, guiding your lovely little cub back to you... It was just playing..."
The cub smirked at the cowering hyena, circling to his savior's side. "Liar..." he said, taking a swipe at one of the hyena's paws, making it wince even more. His confidence was simply overwhelming, now that the tide was in his favour...
"Ayee! No, don't hurt me, don't hurt me!!" Shaking from tip to toe and bleeding, a second glance to the lioness's eyes was enough to set the remaining on the run, disappearing to never coming back or messing with cubs.

Benoni, glanced back at him. "You could tell me your name stranger, I've welcomed you into my home and you've yet to give me your name." He let his tail lay down against his hind legs.
The sounds of a Hyena off in the distance caught his attention, his ears perked. The faint sounds of a sad, soft female giggle echoed soon after. His ears pinned back against his head, what was Niobe getting herself into now.
" Oh were you now? I doubt it." She growled low and deep, her claws dug into the earth a little bit more. She giggled as she watched it run away, her gaze turned to the cub. " Well, wasnt that interesting.." She smiled.
"Would you like to come with me? It will be safer than making friends with them." She used her muzzle to motion towards the cave. A roar caught her attention, that wasnt her brother. She glanced at the cub and nudged him with her nose. " Oh confindent one, lets go see what games are about."
She turned and began to pad back into the grass, she was heading back with or without him. The choice to follow was his, and his alone.

"I was going to search for a patch of land to call my headquarters before the threesomes showed up, but it seems I have to hone my skills further before I adventure anymore. The hyenas were just lucky my claws aren't sharp enough..."
The cub grumphed as he was nudged, watching the dark lioness heading out. He hated being treated like a... well, a cub! On the other hand, a teensy bitsy voice whispered to his ears, telling him there was nothing to lose. After all, it had been a rather nice blow! And yet another roar!Maybe he could learn something of use with this place's dwellers... "Lions of your size playing games? Ain't that childish?" he questioned, running up to her side.

The female rainbow looking lioness paced herself through out the new lands. Her orbs glancing around as she entered the new terrain. Questions blazed through her mind as she crossed the boundary lines according to her scent.

"Alright, next time. You defend me alright?" She glanced back at him. "No games keep us on our toes." She responded as she continued on her way. She hoped he'd follow, she didnt know if she'd be around next time.
She continued onward, hoping to catch sight of her brother. Her dark lavender eyes danced in the sunlight, it was going to be fading soon. She hoped to return to the little crook in the cave soon, it was perched rather high up and she enjoyed the height as well as the veiw it gave her over the land.
The sudden scent of another caught her attention. She lifted her muzzle and sniffed the air, her flakes quivered from being overly senstive. She let out a calling bellow, it echoed across the lands. This other, was female and there was no doubt about it in her mind.

Tequila turned as she heard a female call, she advanced in the direction. Soon she was in the presence of a light grey female with light pastel colors. She walked to her with her head lowered. "Sorry, I hope I haven't intruded."

Her head arched back, she eyed the ligress for a moment, her bright lavender eyes blinked a couple times. " No, I dont believe so. Though my brother would most likely would have liked a warning call or something." Niobe was more, soft spoken then her brother, she gave a soft smile. "Welcome." She said. "Would you like to follow me please?"

Tequila glanced at her, "My apologies." she bowed slightly. She nodded as she moved to follow this seemed to be Princess of the lands. She would try to stay on her behavior for the most part, after all she was a guest. Her golden keys upon her neck jingled in the breeze.

" None of that now. You didnt offend me and im sure Benoni wouldnt care." Her brows knit together, so she hoped. She was already bring a cub and a new lioness with her, hopefully he didnt take that as if she was taking his job.
"Have you been wandering far? We could take a stop at the river for a drink if you wish." She asked, she glanced back at the other lioness, she envied her bright coloring, she felt dark. But she was, she was dark.

The female glanced to her, "No I've had my fill before I came. Thank you though, for your hospitality," she added.
She had noticed this other female looking at the color of her fur, with an expression she had often felt. Her azure eyes glanced back to her. "I'm Kila." she said to her ennunciating her pronounciation to , 'kee-la.'

" I am Niobe, and this..this here is Le Roi de Sorrow." She glanced around the land and then turned her gaze back to the other lioness. "Your coat is beautiful, yes i must admit." She couldnt help it, once in a while she spoke before she thought. "But, I love my own coloring." She did, she loved her dark coat..it was eaiser to sneak up on those in the dark.
She continued onward towards the cave, she glanced back hoping to find the cub following her. "Benoni should be here soon."

"Benoni?" she asked. "I assume he is your King?" she asked yet was half a statement as well. The sun conure colored lioness looked up as soon as she mentioned her coloring and she gave a bit of a warm smile, "Thank you. I try to take pride in it." she replied half jokingly. "I like yours, not as bright but it has an mysterious sort of touch to it." she added.
