It was there within the house of the one that he had once called 'Father' that he found himself dumped off. A quiet church at what seemed like the edge of civilization. He was tired, he was hungry, and his back was aching something fierce. At the same time though he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by a feeling akin to being freed. Like a song bird who'd been it's whole life caged away, trapped where he had to sing for someone else now let loose. He was... excited, his heart was fluttering in his chest, he felt a bit dizzy and he found himself falling down to his knees in the aisle, looking up at the efigey of God then looked away before he could find himself thanking it. No... it had not been God who had freed him from his personal Hell, it hadn't been his God that had allowed him this feeling of freedom, it had come at a price. Flesh and Blood taken from the young angel's back and he would not mistake it for a divine gift. The price had been great, the mark of it etched into his very flesh but that did not matter. He was here, he was on Earth, and he wasn't going back to that False World, a place of Light and Peace on the surface with Shadows lingering around every corner, a world that was played with like it were some immense Doll House...
Keiji pushed up to his feet, staggering a step then started forward, first things was first. He had to get out of this place, out from under the vacant stare of the statue dipicting the human's interpritation of God and out into the fresh air, he would be in need of a place to stay, some thing to eat but all that would come later. For now he felt only the desire to step outside into the world that was truely freed. The double doors he pushed open and he found himself looking over the quiet, darkened gardens that were in front of the church, fresh life springing forth from the ground, indicating from its size the change from Spring into Summer, it was warm out despite the sun being down, a breeze moved his hair and the feathers upon his wings. He tilted his head back and he gave a sigh as he flapped his wings, then stepped outside.
"Beautiful." He murmured, there was the soft chiming sound of the bracelets around his ankle as he moved along, the sensation of warm grass beneath his bare feet, and then... All to soon after he was able to start enjoying the natural world around him there was a shadow. He could smell... blood? Old blood, the sort that no matter how much a person tried to wash it away it was there, thick and permating the area. He looked around, back and forth. It wasn't human blood, darker, monsters that one only heard about in stories, demons that he'd been tricked by elders with when he was older, 'Time to go to bed Keiji, if you don't the demons will get you'. He'd not thought to meet one within the hallowed grounds of a church though, weren't there rules about that? Barriers?
He looked back and forth, his duel colored wings fluffing up then giving a flutter of nervousness, "W-Who's there!" He called, trying his hardest to act brave, he'd after all stood up to those Guardians in Heaven, had taken their abuses in stride and had kept his cool but now given the chance that he was about to run across a demon he found all of that built up courage starting to crummble, he couldn't be so lucky that his first moments on Earth would be him getting devoured would they?
Keiji spun around on his heel when he heard the sound of footsteps and someone breathing and... found not a monster or devil standing there but a man, a mortal man holding in his hand some sort of human weapon. He tipped his head to the side, "W-What? W-Who are you? What do you want!" His voice grew stronger with each word as he found himself no longer afraid, was just a human after all nothing for him to worry about right... There was a moment where the human had slid a foot forward then he was gone, seeming to flicker and vanish before Keiji's very eyes. The world seemed to go for a moment dead quiet... and a hand struck him, the blow catching him in the back of the neck. The Fallen Angel's eyes went wide before they glazed over and he collapsed to his knees, then face first into the grass.
"Hn... not so tough." The voice of the one standing over him mused aloud before Keiji sank into unconsciousness not knowing what was going on or what was to become of him that he'd fallen prey to a dangerous and deadly human... It was going to kill him wasn't it? Kill him as it had all the Monsters and Demon's whose blood stained his hands... He didn't want to die... he'd just been freed...

Shin knelt down in front of the blond haired teen, lifting a canteen to his lips in hopes of reviving him. It hadn't been this one that was behind all of the atracious acts, in fact he didn't even looked like he was capable of sin from the looks of him. An angel he'd guessed from the wings and halo though an oddly done up one. And why would he be here anyways? At a church it would make sense but at this particular church after all that had been going on, it seemed rather odd to him. One would think an angel would be somewhere more holy, not in a church that barely got any visitors at the edge of an almost forgotten township, "You need to wake up." He murmured, giving Keiji a little shake when the water hadn't helped to wake him from his unconscious state, he hoped he hadn't hit him to hard... Would be a shame to have to put on his record 'beats up angels'.
Keiji's eyes gave a fluttered came slowly open, gazing up at the man that was kneeling before him almost confused at first... then it all feel into place in his mind. Keiji lifted a leg up, bracelets chiming, and kicked Shin in the chest sending him falling backwards. Keiji scrammbled up to his feet and was able to make it a couple steps before a powerful hand caught him around the wrist and gave a great yank backwards. The blond angel gave a gasping cry as he found himself on his back, "No! I don't want to die!" He exclaimed and started to kick, punch, and bite at the man in his deserpate struggles to get free of him. He wasn't about to fall prey to some killer! Not now, not ever!
"Should knock you silly again." Shin muttered to himself then settled for swinging Keiji around, pinning his arm to his back between his wings, "That is enough, calm down now or else this will be made worse for both of us." He hissed.
Keiji's form stilled some and he gave an unpleasent curse at Shin, something that drew the hunter's manhood into question which only made him respond by pushing Keiji's arm farther against his own back, and more painfully too at that, "Ah! You... jerk! Let me go!" He hissed, struggling. Amazing how he'd gone through the abuse of his own kind without saying a word but now that he was in his present situation and getting mauled by some stupid human he was finding himself less then serene.
"Not sure what kind of angel you are but unless you want me to tie you up and hand you over to the man in charge here I would behave myself." Shin warned, "I'm here on a job that doesn't concern little brats like you so I would suggest you behave." With that he released Keiji with a little shove then pushed up to his feet, stretching out then looked around, "Lets see now..." He'd been on the right trail before his run in with the boychild angel, he'd mistaken him for the prey would could have cost him everything, what if the angel were some kind of bait? To make Shin give away his position and let the beast he was hunting know what he was like and how best to defeat him? What a pain in the neck that would be...
"Not... concerned with..." The guy wasn't after him? That made no sense now did it, the way that the idiot had attacked him! He'd hit him! Keiji lifted a hand to rub at the back of his neck that still ached a bit from the blow it had received. He wasn't about to believe that it was all just some big mistake, the guy was no doubt up to something. That meant that Keiji couldn't turn his back on him for a second!
While Keiji was off musing to himself Shin had moved along, back to find the trail he'd been following before growing distracted with the teenager, lets see... where did it lead too? Odd to find a demon's trail that would lead towards the doors of a church, it made no sense when you thought about it. All he'd learned in his years of hunting pointed towards demons being unable to enter such buildings due to conflicting powers between Heaven and Hell, yet this one enter the building from the looks of it, "You, angelchild. While you were inside did you see anything, anyone odd?"
Keiji's wins fluffed up and he gave Shin a nasty look, "Why? So you can make me an accomplise to your killing ways? I think not." Not that he really had seen anything or knew anything but he wasn't about to become the helper in the death of someone. Demon or not he wanted no part of it, it would make him as bad as some of the people in Heaven that proclaimed themselves Guardians while in fact they were heartless and cruel.
"Useless." Shin muttered the followed along the trail himself, should have known not to as an angel, so unright and snobby. Ever one he'd met, though there had been very, very few, were exactly the same. Shin stopped at the door to the church, looking inside he could see a figure standing up near the alter, head bent forward in prayer, hands clasped as he spoke the words so ferverently. For a moment the hunter would see him as the priest in charge, had even taken a step forwards towards him to question him... when he saw the man's hands.
How... odd. For a man to pray so desperately to God when his hands were red with blood.

"Ahh. My dear child, come in, come in." Came the voice of the man at the alter, he turned around to face Shin and smiled at him. He looked so very angelic himself, more so then the boy outside who was one. And yet, he was stained with blood, "Come forward, speak your sins to me and allow me to help you to absolve your guilt before God. He cherishes all of his children no matter what they are." The man was slowly walking foward towards him and Shin didn't like the way he moved. He seemed to sort of sway as he walked, dragging a leg behind himself and he seemed a bit twisted and broken. Much like a puppet who's strings were entangled.
Shin reached into his pocket drawng something out that he cupped in his hand, "I need no forgivness Father, I am well aware of the sins I commit and I know they are done with only the best regards to my fellow man in mind." He said, smiling, "Find someone else to worry about."
"So confident that you are Hunter, but it was no you I was speaking too." He said.
Shin blinked a couple times, confused for a moment until it dawned on him. The angel... he turned his head seeing the boy standing at the doorway, looking in. His face was paled with shock, nails biting into the frame of the door, "D-Demon..." He breathed. A mistake as the moment the words was free of his lips the priest lunged forward at him, arms outstretched, his fingers curled into claws as he reached for the angel. He wanted him, wanted his purity, his innocence, wanted to tear him into lots of pretty little pieces.
Keiji could do little more then lift his arms up, giving a cry of show and fear as the reached out for him.
So that was a demon, while he was within the form of a human Keiji could see him for what he really was, could seen the disgusting, dark mass that writhed inside of the Priest, using the man's form for his own as he lacked a strong one. He'd puppeted a human for his own goals and his hands... they were stained with blood. It had gotten ahold of something before they had arrived here? What had it gotten hold of? Who? He squeezed his eyes closed and staggered back a step awaiting the pain that would come with it hitting him. So much force it had gathered when it lunged for him.
"Damn it you little fool!" Shin hissed, reaching his hands out he was able to catch hold of the back of the priest clothing, yanking with all his might. He lost hold rather quickly but was at least able to change his tragetory so that he wouldn't collide with the angel child, instead hitting the wall in front of him, "Move you idiot!" He cried then threw the item he held in his hand, it seemed to shimmer a moment as it caught the light from the surrounding wall fixtures before connecting with the man's back and it exploded into thousands of tiny, glittering fragements and a splash of holy water. The man gave a loud cry, writhing and reaching back to claw at his own back, trying to get the stuff off of him.
Shin pushed forward at a run, out of the chruch and caught hold of Keiji by the wrist, dragging him along as he headed out the front gate and ducked down behind it, "You little fool what did you think you were doing! ... " Shin tilted his head to the side, taking in the boy's look of terror and the tears that he was doing his best to hold back. Damn angels, so useless most of the time, so holy and innocent. It seemed they always liked to break down when confronted by their opposites now didn't they? At least maybe the ones that Shin had met. This one was no different though, "Sheesh. Stop it will ya? I will get rid of it and you will be find." He got a studdering sort of reply, the boy to afraid to give him much more.
"Ugh... for the love of..." He pushed up to his feet and reached behind his back, drawing his knives from his hips and started forward. Normally he would retreat, think of a good strategy and then attack again. Now though he had a burden that couldn't be tossed aside, a silly twit of an angel that needed protected... He supposed he would have to wing it this time around. As he walked forward the demon in human skin stepped out of the church, his back smoldering a little from the contact with the holy water.

Keiji peeked around the stone wall that he was hiding behind not wanting to see what was happening really but for some reason his curiousity forced him to look anyway. As if to say 'look at what is happening, see what the human you insult does for you'. He was a little shocked to see the human standing against the demon with nothing but a pair of knives, was he so foolish? So suicidal that he didn't care what happened to him? That he didn't think about it or conside what migt happen to him? What... a... what a b*****d! He didn't want it on his conscience that some human died for him! So what if that was all that humans seemed to do, fight and die but he didn't feel like being the cause of it. He shoved himself up to his feet, looking around for something, anything that could be used for a weapon. He found a large stick and lifted it up in his hands. He could do this right? There were many stories about great angels fighting off demons, like the war between Lucifel and his army, the first fallen when they stood against Heaven... Though he was more likened to being one of those from the losing side wasn't he? Oh well... either way he'd come this far why no get in a fight so he could really cement himself as a Fallen?
He waited for an opportune moment before he lunged forward, branch coming down hard on the back of the demon's neck and the motion seemed to drop him, "Phew... are you o..." And there was a counter attack that sent Keiji flying to the air, back colliding with a nearby tree and he slumped to the ground, stars blurring his vision, "Un..."
Shin blinked a couple times, cursed fluently enough that it made the demon pause and he threw a knife, sticking it into the shoulder of the thing but it didn't even seem to slow it down, not that it would. Not when a tasty angel was presenting itself all but asking to become a meal, why did things liek this always have to happen? The boy could have stayed hidden and let him deal with this but nooooo... he swore once he was done with the demon was gonna teach that angel a lesson or two about things as well. Shin forced himself to move quickly, moving into full contact, full combat with the demon in human skin...
Keiji lifted his hands to his head, rubbing at it. Ok so that wasn't a very good first strike or a very heroic action either, in fact he was sure that he had looked quite the fool in Shin's eyes as the man was someone used to combat. Damn but he was an idiot... when his vision had cleared he lifted his gaze to the ensueing fight before him, to close for comfort as the demon tried to fight off Shin to get his claws into Keiji and Shin didn't his best to keep the demon from obtaining its goal. He couldn't let the angel get hurt while he finished up his job that was killing this thing. The angel pushed himself up to his feet again, staggered a bit and was forced to lean against the tree as he took an account of the damage caused by his intimate introduction to the tree. Wing ached something but it wasn't so much broken as just jarred, back was burning though as the collision made all the old wounds on his back feel as if they were fresh, damn but that hurt... knot on the back of his head that left him dizzy but aside from that he was ok.
His attention was sudden called straight back to the battle when something warm and wet hit him, he looked down and felt a roiling in his stomach as he found himself covered in a spray of blood... blood but whose? He jerked his head up seeming both of them standing quite still, locked close to each other. The demon's claws hands digging into the human's back while the human had both his knives buried in its chest. They were locked there, unmoving for what seemed like eternity... then they staggered back away from one another both collapsing to their knees. Shin was kneeling right there before Keiji, even wounded it seemed that he was trying to protected the angel...
"Why? You could have just left!" Keiji snapped at his back, looking passed him in time to see the demon collapse forward and start to dissolve, "You didn't have to help me."
"Didn't have to... wanted too. Don't... let innocents get hurt just... kill the bad... all..." He murmured then sank forward onto his front, unmoving but alive, victorious another day it seemed.
Keiji's eyes got wide and he moved to kneel down next to him, "Ahh... come on now. No dying..." He said, lifting his hands to shake the guy but got no response. He looked around, as if he were going to call for help before realizing that the only help would have been the priest which had become demon food... so he that meant that he was all on his own in this. He had to figure it out, had to help the Hunter as he'd helped Keiji.

Keiji's head was bowed, his eyes were closed, and he was sitting along side the hunter who was still. He'd not passed on, he was going to make it the angel had decided but even so, even with all of his wounds bound tightly to make sure he didn't start to bleed again the angel was worried for him. He opened his eyes when the man shifted, groaned, and stilled again. He was worried because he'd yet to awaken, best Keiji could guess was that he was trying to sleep through as much of the pain as he could, rest so that his body could recouperate. They were still outside, under one of the trees and out of the sun, the angel could have brought Shin inside though it would have involved dragging him which he didn't think would help out the man's wounds any and he had come to the conclusion that the church had been tainted. It was no longer a place of peace and purity. It smelled of demons and the aura they left behind would linger for years to come, there was the possibilty that it would draw to it more demons... he could only hope that the hunter woke long before that happened. He would rather be miles away before this place became a demon hang out.
"The sun is up." He murmured, his striped wings giving a little flutter before he pushed to his feet and moved forward, out into the light. He stretched his feathery apendages out to their full and tilted his head up, relaxing as he absorbed the sun's light. As an angel the only nourishment that he required was sunlight and water, quite similar to a plant in that respect. It wasn't that he couldn't eat mortal food but some angels chose not to as in eating food they would in turn be eating something that had to die to provide the nourishment, some didn't want that on their conscience be it meat that they were eating or plants. He opened his blue eyes to turn towards Shin, humans didn't seem to have that same respect for things, this one was a hunter so he was even less aware of the sin of death. Just last night he'd killed a demon, not that Keiji could fault him that, but did he even think about the human that the demon had possessed?
Shin stirred again, eyes finally slidding open. He seemed to be gazing up into the branches of the tree as if he were trying to figure out what was going on, where he was. He pushed himself to sitting up and then tilted his head to the side, Keiji, brat that he was seemed far more angelic when he was standing there, wings reflecting the sun. He gave a smile, "I see you made it." He said.
Keiji's wings gave a flutter and closed before he crossed his arms over his chest, "Of course I made it! Some idiot insisted upon it." He said, giving him a look.
Shin nodded before rising up to his feet, stretching out all over before rolling his shoulders, then lifted a hand to lay them over his wounds, "Don't seem to hurt all that much anymore." He said, maybe staying beside an angel so long had helped to speed up his already fast healing? He figured that could easily be so, what a useful creature the angel had turned out to be despite all of the trouble he'd been put through due to him. He walked over towards him, "So where do you plan on going next?" He inquired, almost feeling nervous about leaving the boy alone. He seemed unable to protect himself, seemed to have an attitude problem that put him at risk of further injury, and as an angel he would draw more demons to him.
Keiji opened his mouth then closed it when nothing came out, shrugging. He had no idea where to go, what to do. He had figured he could move on to the next church, see about gaining employ, maybe a place to stay? Though the moment that thought came to mind it seemed to melt away as fast, why should he put himself into service to a God that allowed him to be thrown out of the only home that he'd ever known? It seemed rather foolish now wouldn't it, "I... um... don't know." He said finally, looking away from Shin. He seemed to be rather angry that he'd had to admit he wasn't sure where to go from this point.
Shin sighed, "I see. A lost little bird huh?"
"B-Bird! How dare you!" He said, puffing up in an indignant sort of way.
The Hunter's lips curled into a smirk and then he gave a nod, patting Keiji on the head, "Come along then bird. You can stay with me for a while, until you have your matters sorted out and you decide where you want to go when you do." He said, walking away from Keiji. The angel watched him walk realizing that the man expected him to follow along like some sort of puppy. He gave a snort as if that would ever happen! His eyes drifted over to the church and he would have sworn he saw a shadow shift in a way that it shouldn't, a demon? His heart skipped a beat and he was instantly running after Shin, crying out to the Hunter to slow down and wait for him!

Keiji followed along quietly, eyes darting back and forth. He had no idea where they were headed, were they going out on another of the hunter's 'jobs' or were they going somewhere else? He quickened his steps so that he could walk alongside of Shin, gazing up at him for a long moment, "Where...?" He started before he the Hunter's gaze turned to meet his.
"Where what?" Now that he was no longer on a hunt, now that he was no longer in a dangerous situation it was as if the man's eyes had changed. They were softer, they were gentle now, easy going, the killer from before ceased to exsist in those blue pools... Keiji shook his head rapidly and looked away. It ahd to be some sort of trick, that was all that could explain why the man was able to switch back and forth between killer and kind, that had to be it since that was all that made sense in his mind.
"Huh? Oh... where are we going?" He asked when he was able to voice his thought again, the hunter already walking along ahead of him again.
"Home. I don't know about you but I could go for a hot meal, a shower, and some rest that takes place on a bed." He told the angel, stretching out in such a way that everything seemed to crack, pop, and settle back into place. A loud enough sound that it made the fallen angel wince, "Yeah. Shower would be the best part to try to get these knots out of my muscles." The way that they were aching one would think he got hit by a train instead of just in a fight. He would just have to make sure not to bring Keiji along with him ever again, the angel was a liability at best. To dangerous to bring someone so soft, so green into a battle that was life or death.
Keiji chewed on his lip, nodding. He looked up at the sky, it was clouded over, dark puffy clouds that threatened them with rain. With them in the way he couldn't absorbs the sun's light so he found his stomach rummbling, hungry himself. He'd never indulged in human food before, it was a vice that was unneeded after all. An angel didn't need anything more the sunlight and water but now... now that he was on Earth he supposed there was always the chance of being unable to come by things like that, things that he had once taken for granted. He'd never seen it cloud up in Heaven before... He gave a growly sound and shook his head rapidly, "No... I am not going to think about that place!" He said, hands clentching.
Shin turned his gaze over onto the angel, giving him a look that clearly said that he thought the angel was going crazy. He reached a hand over to pat his head, "What place?" He asked, even though the blond had said that he didn't want to think about it. When a person didn't want to think about something that meant that they were both going to think about it, they were going to worry, they wanted to talk about it.
Keiji looked over at Shin for a long moment before he pointed upwards.
"Heaven? Why would you not want to think about some place like that?"
"Why should it matter to you! Just because I don't want to talk about that awful place. I shouldn't have to explain myself to someone like you!" Keiji said, eyes narrowing in a way that wasn't very angel like.
Shin reached over to catch hold of the angel's chin, forcing his head up so that he could meet his gaze for a moment. It made the angel feel as if the guy was trying to either read into his soul or maybe use some sort of power to force Keiji's emotions into check, "Calm down Bird, I am not questioning you. I am just made curious by your words that is all." He said then released him, turning to walk along again.
"I'm not... not part of it anymore." He said, standing still, looking down at his feet.
This brought the hunter to a halt, he turned around to look over at the angel who was shaking like a leaf in the wind, "Not a part?" He asked, giving the blond the opening that he needed to let out whatever what bothering him.
Keiji lifted a hand to his chest, laying it over a certain spot before he lifted it up to show the marking that was there, the one cut into his flesh. He looked up at the Hunter and then away, "They marked me as a high class criminal and then threw me away. Blamed me... for so many awful things. I didn't do them, didn't even think about such things! Why did they do this to me?" He sounded as if he were demanding answers from Shin even though there was no way the hunter could know.
Shin's eyes went wide, that explained why the little bird was lost, why he had no where to go. Shin hurried along forward to him and wrapped his arms around the little angel, "I see, I am sorry for pushing you." He murmured quietly, "Come on then, you can come with me. You can stay with us as long as you need too."
Keiji leaned against the hunter, eyes sinking closed as he seemed to feed off the other's strength, "Are you... sure?"
"I wouldn't have said it if I weren't sure." He said then smiled as he started to lead him along, "Come on. We will go home."
Keiji gave a smile, "Home." He murmured, liking the sound of that work. He found himself wondering though idly what the 'us' meant. Were there others that lived with him? More Hunters perhaps?

The house was small, set away from civilized life it seemed, a out of the way house that was meant not to be found unless someone was looking for the place, unless Shin allowed somewhere to know where this place was. They were walking along down a long, long path that was bringing them to the little house. Halfway there though Keiji started to get a creepy-crawly sort of feeling, he found himself looking from side to side as if he were expecting for something dark and dangerous to dive out of the shadows at them. He moved closer to the hunter, he was a killer yes but he was the lesser of two evil in the instance of comparing him to a demon, "W-We have to stop." He finally said, reaching out to catch hold of the Hunter's arm and tugged at it. He gave a little whimpering sound, eyes gazing up at him in fear, "I-I can feel it, that same sensation as before but..."
He didn't a chance to speak though before that demonic presence was suddenly moving, rushing forward towards them at a considerable speed, Keiji stagger back, hands lifting up as if to defend himself from another attack... and small blond haired child, hard to tell if it were a he or a she, leapt into Shin's arms almost knocking him over onto his backside and clung, tightly. The blonde child had a wagging puppy dog tail and ears that were turned forward making him as a very happy critter. That would all be well and good in Keiji's mind if he didn't know instantly that the demonic power, or at least half of it, belonged to this one.
"N-No... No that is a demon! Look out before it bites you." He said, staggering back away from it and into another form. He let out a shriek of surprise as he turned and found another demon, this puppy clearly a boy and a displeased one at that. It had silver hair instead of gold and blue eyes instead of orange. The other half of the demonic energy he'd felt, twins then he realized. He moved away from him a step before the silver one lunged, instantly Keiji who was caught flat footed and unawares fell backwards, pinned under the assault. Yoko had his knees on fragile wings and his hands went for Keiji's throat.
"Ah! Yoko!" The blonde cried, a sound echoed by Shin. He'd not brought Keiji here to subject him to more abuse... he set Tsukiko down quickly and lunged, grabbing hold of Yoko around his waist and drug him up off of the angel, the demon wasn't done though, he flail, grabbed at, and caught hold of the angel's shirt. There was a tearing sound of cloth then both demons seemed to freeze in place, their eyes narrowing on the mark... and Yoko realeased the bits of shirt that he'd had hold of. Angels were bad, they were something that needed destroyed at all costs, their wings were to be broken every feather removed, their hair yanked out strand by strand, eyes removed, limbs cut away, but this... this was not an angel. This one wasn't to be feared, no not at all. It was to be pitied, laughed at, it was useless to its kind, it was banished away from its home. Branded, useless, ugly...
"Ahh... poor angely." Tsukiko murmured, kneeling down to pat his head as Keiji sat up. The angel clung to the scraps of his shirt and cast a glare at Yoko, not noticing that Tsukiko's eyes were on his back, a small, gentle hand rubbing over it and the scars that marked him there, "You poor, poor thing..."
Yoko felt that anger returning, now it wasn't because this thing was an angel, no now it was because it was trying to take his brother away. Jealousy, white hot ran through his veins and Yoko lowered his head to bite at Shin's arm. He wasn't about to let his brother be stolen away from him by some once angel. No... he would kill it first! He kicked out at Keiji, struggling in vein to get his feet to connect but the winged boy had been smart enough to move away from him, eyes narrowed and breathing a bit quick as he pushed himself to his feet.
"W-What is the meaning of this! I thought you were a hunter! I thought you killed these things. They are demons! You should destroy them now before they killed you in yours sleep!' Keiji raged at Shin, everything seeming to fall back into that grey area that he didn't understand. The three of them, Tsu and Yoko on one side and Keiji on the other had been trained about what they should think of their opposing enemy, what they should do to them, Demons were Evil in the mind of an Angel and vise versa!
"N-No... please. No fighting... he just got home..." Tsukiko said, hands clasping in front of him, eyes looking rather teary. The nice man had just returned, he was safe and now his brother was getting into a fight with Shin's company... "Please... lets not fight..."
Keiji rounded on him, "Your disgusting twin started this! He is the one that attacked first, isn't that so like one of your kind though."
Yoko's eyes widened and his teeth barred in a silent snarl before he started to struggle again, hands curling into claws, reaching for the angel's pale throat...
Shin gave a growl and Yoko was suddenly tossed aside, to land in a heap next to his twin. The look on his face was one of surprise and Tsukiko wrapped his arms around him to keep him from trying to attack again, Keiji opened his mouth to comment but before he could there was a loud, 'crack' that rung out and Shin lowered his hand to his side a red handprint left behind on the angel's cheek, "This is my home. All three of you are guests here, taken in because I deemed you worthy, decided that it would be ok for you to come here. Don't make me regret it." He hissed at them, before stalking ahead of them. Let the three of them work it out of rip each other apart, currently it seemed he did not care.
Tsukiko blinked a couple times, backing away from Yoko and Keiji his ears laid back and his tail between his legs, "You made him mad." He murmured before he turned to bolt after the man that was their current 'father' figure.
Keiji sat down heavily, hand lifting to the red mark and looked wounded... less from the slap and more because the man had left him here. He looked after Shin but didn't pursue. Not yet, not until he cooled off. Yoko pushed to his feet, shook off and spat at the angel before he moved away from him but also didn't seem to be heading for the house. Not ready to face Shin either it seemed.

He looked down at the list, reading over all of the items that he was supposed to be fetching from the store and gave a little sighing sound. He wasn't sure how he had been talked into this, into going shopping on his own when he didn't really want to leave home quite yet. He wanted to just stay there with the new family that he'd been adopted into, a whirlwind group that made him feel a bit overwhelmed at times but tried all of what he thought he knew about humans and demons alike. The twins were difficult yes, Yoko most of all as there were times when he would at random attempt to get a piece of the angel that was living in the same place as him. He did it in a way that involved taunting until Keiji made the first move, so that it wouldn't be his fault when Shin came across them fighting. He'd fallen for it so many times now that it was almost rediculous... He was to gullible Shin had told him on many occasions.
Keiji's blue accented wings gave a little flap as he tried to make sense of a few of the things on the list, who needed that much salt? Shin said that he would explain it when Keiji got back. Things were moving faster today then they usually did, Tsukiko had helpfully informed him that Shin was getting ready for a job. The word made Keiji go cold all over, a job meant that the man would be fighting, it meant that he would be off risking his life against something huge and dangerous once again. He hated that idea, that the Hunter could get hurt again, that he could die with the three of them oblivious until he never came home. Keiji gave a sigh as he slipped into the store and got himself one of the carts following suit of the woman that came in the store just before him. He then set to work attempting to find the items that he needed, lets see... he supposed that the best way of finding all of these oddly named things would be to go up and down the aisles until he found them.
Why of all people he was sent on this job... he didn't even know what half of this stuff was since he didn't eat much in the way of human food yet. Some things yes, milk and honey, some types of fruit, vegetables, bread but nothing more then that yet. He couldn't bring himself to eat meat as it used to be alive and eggs were supposed to hatch into babies so the idea of eating those made him ill. His choices were limited in some aspects but he wasn't about to let himself become a ravenous demon like the twins, they anything, everything, and in large portions. Some days he wondered why they even bothered with forks, not that Yoko used one when Shin wasn't around mind you. Another sigh as he put the first item into the cart shuddering as he did so for having to touch the package of meat that was on the list, his hands felt clammy and his body sick but he was able to do it. He wanted to be helpful and thus far he wasn't, the skill of cooking eluded him and he hadn't figured out how to do half of what the twins did for Shin. He could clean and do laundry and he'd figured out how to stitch up clothing as that seemed to be something useful with the twins always play fighting and with Shin's line of work.
The next thing on the list was added for Keiji himself by Shin's hand, a couple bags of various frozen vegetables and fruits for him to enjoy. They were fun to pick out as everything seemed to come in a wide variety of colors. He wondered what this stuff tasted like, pineapples... hrm. Sounded odd since he knew what pine trees were and knew what apples were... was it a cross between them? He put some of that in the cart, what a weird idea. There were many things that he still didn't understand, were still above him but he was sure that he would learn all about the human world and all the weird things in it now that he was a part of it.
He started down the next aisle to get a couple of loafs of bread and some peanut butter, it was good too he'd decided the other day after sampling it with a spoon. Jelly was needed too, he looked over the different sorts then picked out the one called apricot due to its bright orange coloring. He set those items into the cart before once again moving along. He made his way back and forth, back and forth, up and down all of the aisle picking up what was needed from each one that coensided with what was on his list. So many things to get that it made him wonder how he was going to get it all home, he would figure it would he was sure. Lets see... the last thing on the list. He starred at the list, looking at the cooling shelf, back to the list... then hurried off. He refused, REFUSED! He would not buy those awful eggs! Never! He gave a growling sound as he headed towards the front of the store to stand in line, the money in his pocket for the purchase given to him by Shin.
He was soon walking out of the store, arms full with bags and started for home. It was a long walk and the bags were heavy but if he could make it home on his own then that would be an accomplishment! It would prove that he was completely useless. He wanted to be helpful to Shin, wanted to be able to do things for him as the twins were able too. And he did too! Though barely. He staggered into the door and set the bags on the table then collapsed into a chair, panting heavily. He'd done it! He gone there, gotten the food, and got back! He'd done it all on his own!
By the time Shin found the young angel the boy was already dozing at the table, bags still sitting in front of him. The hunter gave a smile as he set to work, first putting everything away then easily scooping up the light weight boy to bring him into his room, laying him down on the bed so that he could rest up, "You did good." Shin murmured, brushing back the boy's hair from his face before leaving the room, closing the door quietly behind himself.

Why was it that he was forced to live with them? While he wasn't amongst Gods favored children anymore did that mean that he had fallen so very fall that he had to live with Demons? The Hellhound pups weren't the worst of the demons that he had seen up until this point, living with Shin meant hearing about a lot of dark things and having to help the guy get patched up after his encounters with them. He felt sorry for him at times, he'd had to start picking up things that were more and more dangerous these days so that he would have the money needed to raise the three children that he had under his roof. That was another thing that irked him, when had he become a 'child' in Shin's eyes? He was a teenager wasn't he? Was such a damn pain in his a**. He wanted Shin to look at him as someone older, acknowlage him as someone that could be useful and he still referred to him as 'one of his children' when Keiji didn't want that.
A part of him wanted for Shin to look at him as someone grown, someone strong, someone useful. Well useful for something else aside from babysitting that was... He gave a sigh. Ok, he knew that he was just complaining mentally and there was a damn good reason for that too!
"Your sighing again, is it so bad?" Came a voice that cut through his musing, Shin. The man was sitting in front of him, leaning forward with his shirt off. And Keiji had the fun job of cleaning out the wounds that he had obtained on his latest hunt. It looked as if someone had used him for scratching post. Keiji gave his back a glare.
"Yes, yes it is bad. I don't understand why I can't come with you. I can be helpful you know." He snapped, reaching over to get another clean, damp cloth to carefully sponge off the wounds with, before looking them over. Several of them needed stiches and it would seem that he was getting good at doing them. At first his hands had been rather shaky but now... now he was able to do them in need, even, and steady stiches. It wasn't one of those skills that he had ever thought that he would become good at but it was a nessesity.
"I need someone to watch after the twins for me, they are far to young and that I had to leave them alone before you came is something I regret." He murmured, "How bad is it really?"
"Stiches are needed." Keiji said, rising up off the bed to go and fetch his kit, "I know that they are young but you aren't. You need someone to help watch your back before there is nothing left of it. Your jobs are things that are harder, more dangerous these days. You told us that your no longer able to take only the easy missions, that you have to take on more of them. Why can't we help you like you helped us?"
Shin looked over at him, blue eyes gentle as he looked upon the fallen angel, "It is my job to protect you, what sort of guardian would I be if I drug you along on dangerous jobs just to make things easier on myself? You and the twins, your children and you should enjoy your childhood." Maybe if they grew up happy the twins wouldn't turn into the dangerous creatures that he hunted and killed as his job? If they were well taken care of, loved they would retain their human nature that they currently had instead of turning animalistic instead. He would have to have to put either of them down because they went feral on him but as their parent it would be his duty to do just that... and he hated the thought.
"I am not a child." Keiji said, sitting on the bed behind Shin, "Why can't you look at me and see what I am."
"I see exactly what you are. You are an angel and your hands are often stained with my blood, your forced to care for me, stitch me up and its not something that I like that much Keiji. I would rather that the only blood you come in contact with is mine when your healing me instead of a monster that your forced to kill. There will be no chance for redemption if you sink into the same life that I lead."
Keiji leaned his head against Shin's shoulder, "I don't want redemption. I was thrown out under false charges so why should I want to go back to them?" He growled between gritted teeth.
Shin reached up to ruffle the boy's hair, "Things will sort themselves out and they will realize their mistake." He said, he didn't know if that were true but he could hope that it would happen as such. So that Keiji could go home to Heaven one day. Even if the boy said that he didn't want to Shin liked the idea of it, it weren't as if Shin himself or the demonic twins were going to such a place so to have at least one of the family able to have a chance of a good afterlife.
"I don't care. They think me trash now why should I go back if they decide to figure out what I really am? I am happy here with you." He said, then shifted so that he could set to work on threading his needle.
The Hunter was quiet as the boy set to his work, stitching him up. It had almost become a blure how many times that he'd been pieced back together by the blonde. He trusted him enough that Keiji could work on his back. Shin didn't often let anyone be at his back since that meant that he were vunerable, "After this I will give you some antibiotics just in case and you can get some rest Shin. I will keep an eye out and I am sure that Tsukiko and Yoko will help." Even if he didn't like the twins and they didn't like him all three of them liked Shin, they could work together if it were for him.
Shin merely nodded, "Alright. A nap would be nice." He murmured, his voice showing how tired he really was.
Shortly later Keiji was leaving the room to let the man sleep, shades pulled down in hopes that he would sleep in late in the completely darkened room.

So he was off, heading for home with his pockets lined with the money the bounty on the manticore had brought him along with the case of money that the blonde from before had gifted him with. Another bounty if you asked him since the money was given to him for a job that he was going to be doing in the near future. The taking care of, and not in the killing sort of way, of a damned monster child. He looked down at the necklace that hung around his neck to give it a look before he gave a grunt of dislike at the entire situation. He found himself looking off into the distance as he walked along, a Monster God of all things. Well at least he had the three at home already and they could surely help out when it came to keeping an eye on the new kid when it decided to arrive. Until then he was going to use the money that he had been given to go towards some things that his small place really needed.
First and foremost he was in need of one of those pull out sofas for the livingroom, the twins while seeming to be quite cuddly with one another were going to grow out of the the sofa that he currently had soon enough. A pull out one would give them plenty more room to sleep on even after they got bigger. After that he would need to get something for the newest of his charges to sleep in, Maybe one of those gaves that people used for babies? No... wait. He was pretty sure that the word wasn't cage but something close to that... What in the world was it called again? Oh! Yes, a pen. So a pen for the Monster God? That sounded rather suiting of you asked him. Random toys would be needed as well to keep the attention of the Monster Godling, maybe that would keep it it out of trouble? He wondered if the toys would need to be tough, to be able to take chewing on. He was having currently a hard time differentiating between a Monster and a Monster God baby, he wouldn't be able to figure out which the child was going to be until he met it he supposed. Until then he would get tough toys...
He gave a grummbling sound then looked to the third and final prize that he was bringing home from the farm, the tail of the manticore, "You see? Monsters are nothing to me, a way of living and a means of getting some good thought dangerous weapons. Aside from that there is little more to it, don't think that because you are here that I am going to quit my job or anything like that. Its what I am good at, what I know how to do best." He told the Relic around his neck.
He was met with silence though it wasn't as if he were really expecting it to talk back. An answer from the Relic would no doubt give him a heart attack...
Shin gave a sound of frustration, he felt rather trapped and that wasn't a feeling that he found as a pleasent one. He came and went as he pleased even with the three charges that he had at home. They knew how to take care of themselves so it wasn't really that he was obligated to be there with them twenty four seven, seven days a week. He was used to going away for however long was needed for various jobs and getting no complaints, they knew when he came back he would have money and they would get something out of it. The only one of the three that ever fussed was Keiji but that was due to the fact that Shin normally came home beat up, today though the blond would have something be happy over.
Babies though... babies only did three things they ate, they slept, and they crapped. They were rather useless until they started to walk, talk, and be able to take care of themselves, "Even with all of their weirdness the twins aren't nearly as bad as that." He muttered.
He gave a sighing sound of delight as he arrived at the his place, lifting a food up to kick it against the front door to get the attention of those that were inside. There was a moment before the door opened up, "What? Ah! Shin! Your home." Keiji said, a smile of delight appearing on his lips as he saw the head of the family outside of the door and not only home but looking rather well, "I am so glad that your home I worry when your away."
"It was nothing, the jobs rarely are." He said, shrugging then held out the case he held in one hand to the winged boy, "Here, hide this in my room."
Keiji blinked in confusion, "What?"
"Nothing, now get going alright." He said, turning and headed around the house. The work on his new weapon to be was done in a quick, careful, and through sort of way before he tied a rope around the tail to leave it out to dry out. When it was done drying he could complete it. It would be a good weapon when it was all finished.
He wasn't surprised in the lease when he returned to his room to find the blond teen waiting on his bed for him, "Shin... what is it that is in that case? Its nothing bad right? Nothing... stolen?" He asked sounding rather worried over it.
Shin rolled his eyes before he lifted his hand to pat the boy's head, "I do a lot of things Keiji but I don't steal, I just ended up taking on a second job while I was out and that case contains the payment that I got. I just wanted the box hidden away since its a lot of money. Do you understand?"
Keiji seemed to think about it for a moment, thoughtful, "So what is it that you plan on doing it?"
"A lot of things can be done with it but the thing high on the list is going to be getting us a new place. Until then we are going to make the one that we have liveable." Shin told the angel, he had looked it over how much he had in the case, it was enough.
"A... new place?" He asked, sounding a little confused.
"Well its going to be the same land just bringing in one of those manufactured homes." He explained.
"Really?" Keiji asked, excited.
"Yes, really." He said then gave a sigh, "Its really a good thing, right? Even if what I am doing in exchange isn't something I enjoy?"
"Do you always enjoy your work?" Keiji asked, curious.
"Yes, there are somedays that I rather enjoy what it is that I do. When a person does their job and does it well it feels nice."
"But not this time?" The angel asked, wings a flutter.
"Not this time." He lifted a hand to cover the relic that wore around his neck, groaning.
Keiji tilted his head to the side, watching Shin closely before he reached out to take hold of the hunter's wrists and drew them back and away so that he could see what it was that he was trying to hide, "That necklace..." There as something about it that made the angel stare in a wide eyed sort of way. He lifted confused blue eyes to meet Shin's gaze awaiting an explaination.
"Can you sense it?" He asked of the angel, flopping back on his bed.
"Shin! What is that?" He asked, scooting closer. He could tell that it wasn't just a necklace and it wasn't some prize that the hunter had taken off of one of his kills. It was... something more then that. It felt alive somehow and that gave the angels the shivers, his wings tremmbling a little.
"You don't need to worry about it. This is... the second job that I took on. The one that comes forth from this relic is going to need cared for and it would seem I got roped into doing just that." Shin explained, crossing his arms behind his head, starring up at the ceiling, "You can feel free to play with the kid all you want when he appears."
The angel nodded, reachinga hand out to pick up the necklace in a rather reverant sort of way, "B-But... is there not only one God?" He asked suddenly, this made no sense at all to him. This feeling was familiar to him it was the same feeling that he had gotten when he was basking in the light of the Heavenly Father before he had been banished from Heaven, it was the feeling of a God. A sleeping soul inside the necklace, that confused him that much more.
"Its nothing that you should worry over Keiji, this God is not from this world but from another one all together." He explained hoping to ease the confusion that was coming off the teen in waves. The angel was already confused enough about God, Heaven, the world, and his place in it. He didn't want to make it worse with the appearance of the Monster God into his life.
"Other... worlds have their own Gods?" He asked, mind trying to wrap around that concept.
"So it would seem. Like I said you can play with him all that you like when he appears, see what sort of God he is. I am sure an Angel can judge well." He said, yawning, "I'm gonna take a nap, its been a trying day."
Keiji nodded, laying down next to Shin so that he could watch the necklace while the hunter slept as if he expected it to do something spectacular...

"Shin! Hey! Human!" A voice yelled through the bedroom door in an attempt to stir him from his deep, long sleep, "Hey! I waaaaanna have dinner tell Keiji to cook for me!" Yoko was glarring at the door. He was going to lose his voice soon and before that happened he meant to get the two that were sleeping to wake up so that he could get some food. Tsukiko was far to quiet, far to kind he would just wait patiently at the door to the room like a trained puppy for Shin and Keiji to emerge and make dinner. He didn't want to wait as long as that, "Come on! I am starving to death out here!"
Shin gave a grunt, eyes opening up to look over at the door and gave it a dark glare, what in the world was that pup going on about now? He pushed to sitting up, "What is it that you want Yoko?"
"Food!" He whined, hands beating against the door, "Come on!"
The hunter gave a grunt of response before reaching over to shake the angel awake that was curled up in a ball, wings wrapped around him to keep out the light, "Come on Keiji, its time to get up. We have a lot to do, a lot to get ready for now though we need to get the food ready before the two puppies starve." The last part said in an amused voice. He knew full well that both Yoko and Tsukiko could cook though only the simplest of dishes, they wanted for Shin and Keiji to be awake so that they could get more complex meals. The angel's stripped wings gave a flutter as he got up to his feet, "I don't wanna be up." He murmured even as he stretched out from head to toe, wing tip to wing tip.
"We all have to do things that we don't want to do." He said, tapping a finger against the Relic around his neck. This time he didn't seem quite as serious, teasing the angel a bit to get him moving, "After we have dinner we will go out. We have some shopping to do. Get the case from where you stashed it and I will get out what will need for this trip then we will hide it again."
Keiji nodded and moved to do as he was told.
"Ahh... ahh...? Shin?" Came anothe voice from outside the door, it caught the hunter's attention as that was Tsu's voice which meant that the time must be getting late for the voice to move from being in Yoko's command to Tsu's command, "S-Sorry about my brother, we can wait on dinner." He called.
"Its fine Tsukiko, you go on and wait for us on the couch and we will get your food shortly." He said as he opened up the door, looking down at the golden hair puppy.
Tsukiko nodded, smiling then took his brother's hand to drag the now silent but glarring boy off away from the door and to the couch to sit down like good dogs. Or at least that was the way that Yoko saw it but as he could no longer say anything for the next twelve hours he was going to have to agree with his brother and follow after him. What a pain! He was at least when shortly after the angel and the hunter were in the 'kitchen' which was another section of the main room of the house.
"After dinner the four of us are going out so you will need to dress nicely." Shin told the twins who had moved from the couch to watch the preparing of the food, they weren't allowed to use sharp knives, the oven, or a few other things. They could use the stove top and a few other things that weren't dangerous to them and didn't run a risk of burning down the house. So their food choices were rather limited. To get to see the hunter preparing them meat and the angel working on noodles for a side made the two of them dance back and forth, their tails wagging wildly.
"Please don't drool on the food." Keiji said, turning to give the two pups a look.
Tsukiko growled at the angel and while Yoko just silently barred his teeth at him.
"Be nice to the angel." Shin said not even looking up at them, instead tossing the slices of meat into a pan to sizzle up. Instantly the scent of cooking meat had the two pups' tails a wagging again. It smelled so good...
"How about the two of you set the table?" Keiji suggested.
Tsukiko looked him over before nodded, "Can do." He said, hurrying over to small cabinet in the corner to get out what was needed, handing it to Yoko who brought it over to the table. When they had all the needed plates, flatwear, and glasses the two of them set the table up to be ready for when the food was ready for them. The two then climbed up into their seats.
"Foods up." Shin said, carrying the pan over and put a slab of meat onto each of the four plates before putting it in the sink, Keiji served the noodles then poured milk for everyone. They all sat down and set to eating, wolfing down the food that was before them. That was at least one good thing Shin thought to himself, the Godling that was coming to live in their family was male so the kid wouldn't be put off by their lack of manners.
When they were done Shin set the three of his charges to get ready, dressed nicely and cleaned up so that they could go out and at least pretend to look respectable.

Journal Oh for the love of... well if you ask me I am rather surprised that we were only kicked out of the one of the many stores that the four of us went to. I suppose that while I could dress them up it wasn't that I could take them out. Well I can't complain hugely about Keiji as normal it would seem the angel was playing the part of the Mom and trying to keep the other two in line. It never does work when I am around though as there can only be one power of authority at a time with the twins. If I am around they don't listen to Keiji, Yoko worst of all. The three of them are good kids but honestly there are days I want to toss them out of a moving vehicle, pains right in the a** I mean it. Passed the normal fighting between demons and the angel that seems as old as time itself shopping went rather well. I found a pen that I think is worthy of a monster god. Its big enough too that the kid won't be able to easily escape even after he learns how to stand up. Its great! Instead of having the mesh siding which I found to be a huge waste of money instead its wooden bars. So basically its a cage without a top. Along with it there are a good half dozen toys that are the kind that can take a beating and make it through alright, a couple of them even having a sort of guarentee on them that if they somehow break that I can take them back and get a replacement. I will take them up on that off if it happens believe me. Got the pull out couch for the twins, they seemed to like it as it was the only time on the whole trip that they were smiling and having no conflict with Keiji, they were instead checking out all of the pull outs and jumping on them, sitting on them, laying on them until they found the perfect one. While its comfortable and while it was their choice I have to say the one that they picked out is the most god awful pattern ever. Looks like someone ate a box of crayons then threw up. I am not gonna complain as I am not going to be sitting on the monstrousity. After the furniture store and that was when we went to get the toys, half of them for the Monster God, almost half for Yoko and Tsu as I figure they need something to occupy their time that doesn't involve bugging the hell out of Keiji, and then a few things for Keiji mostly things I found him starring at in interest even if he hadn't asked for them I tossed them in the cart. Hes a teenager and I really think he probably should have some video games of his own so despite his protests I got him one of those hand held things and a handful of various types of games. After that was the clothing store which went the worst possible, the twins it would seem would rather run around half naked then have to try on clothing. It ended up I picked them out several things, what do I know about chosing clothing for little kids, and tossed them into the cart along with stuff that Keiji got for himself and then there was the problem of clothing for the Monster God, having no idea what its going to look like I have no idea what I was supposed to get for it. So instead of getting any clothing this time around I just got the diapers and figured once the brat arrives I can figure out what it will need. Food shopping, shoe shopping, and then to a store that the kids weren't allowed in as its were I get my jobs from and where I get things that I will need for them and we were headed for home. I don't think I was ever so happy as to see the place. The men showed up not long later with a truck to drop off the twins' new couch and haul off the old one. Place is far to small for more then one of them to be in the room without horribly cluttering up the place, that and I was pretty sure the two would bounce back and forth between the two and break something. All in all while I survive the experiance its not one that I am looking forward to doing again any time soon, next time I will give the brats some money and send them along on their own. It will give me a headache free chance to hang out at home without them, would be the first time in almost a year that it would happen. ~Shin

What in the world were those things he thought to himself as he starred out over the shadowed landscape finding himself starring at the many, many eyes that were starring back at him. Their forms were lost in the darkness but the scents were familar. Monsters, many of them all seeming to be starring at him but this time it wasn't as if he were something that was meant to be eaten. No, their were watching, waiting... he looked down and could see a form that seemed sillohetted, red instead of dark and shadowed like the others, and harder to make out what it was. It looked up at him, grinning up at the hunter with pointing teeth, 'Shin... So this is the one I chose...' a voice in his head murmured.
"Chose... me?" He breathed then gave a squeak, "You!"
The form flickered again then as it turned around, the little creature starring up at him. There was a flicker before it was gone again, the red once more wrapping it way around his neck, tightening on it harder and harder until it felt as if he were suffocating, he couldn't breath... there was something in his mouth... *****
Shin came awake coughing, flailing his arms wildly as he coughed up a feather... feather? He opened his eyes to look up a the wing that was laying over him, "Grr... Keiji..." He muttered, "Gonna clip those wings one of these days."
Shin lifted his hand to push the wing off of him as he sat up, hand going to his chest. The necklace felt warm, was that from his body heat seeping into it or... was it due to the Godling soul inside of it shifting around? The blonde woman had said it took two days for the kids to wake up.
Lets see... Yesterday was the first day he had the necklace and today was the second. Now was it that they appeared on the second day or was it that it was two whole day and appeared on the third? He really had no idea, maybe he should have thought to ask her about it and now there was no chance of getting to catch up with her to do that. Oops...
He pushed off the bed and drapped a blanket over the sleeping angel before sneaking out of the room. He might as well make breakfast since he was up before he went out to the job that he had set up for today.

The second day had gone without any huge incident, breakfast had gone about as smoothly as any meal in his family did. It would seem that the twins had no real interest though in any sort of fruit thusly the bananas that were on there plate were shoved off onto the table and ignored while the bacon and eggs were wolfed down like tomorrow there would be no meat left in the world. He then left Keiji in charge while he went out telling them that he had a small job not far from home so he would no doubt be home before dark. After all he didn't know exactly how the Godling was supposed to appear before him, he hoped that it wasn't anything like how he had been given the relic that hung around his neck. Either way he didn't think that he wanted for it to happen when he was out and that it would be the best to wait at home for it to happen. The job though seemed simple enough, an older woman said that there was something terrible infesting her barn. Whatever it was it made the most God awful shreik before it attacked!
Already it had claimed the lives of some of her precious, prize winning birds and she wanted for something to be done about it.
When he arrived and set to looking around it took him about five minutes to discover both the problem and the 'monster' that was within the barn. He had ended up helping her with repairs to the coops that the birds were kept in as the 'enemy' was little more then a screech owl and he wasn't about to kill a random animal since it wasn't doing anything harm it was just feeding chicks. He couldn't feel any sympathy for someone that left the cages her birds were in without tops on them. It was the same as saying: 'Here you go Miss Owl, time for dinner'. Of course the bird of prey would make its nest near to the barn given such an opportunity. Odd that he was able to see animals in a good light and monsters in such a bad one. There were other factors though that he wasn't about to share with the world though.
A wasted afternoon if you asked him but he did get paid a little bit for being such a 'helpful young man'.
He arrived back at home as the sun was starting to set once more, he found himself looking down at his relic for a moment as if he was wearing. It was still hanging around his neck in the form of the necklace, no sign of any change like there had been in his dream. He gave a yawn, was odd that he was feeling rather sleepy even though he hadn't really done anything today that should be making him sleepy at least not if you asked him. He walked into the house finding the twins playing around in the kitchen, dancing around the angel somewhere in a cross between trying to drive him crazy or speed him up with the cooking. Hard to tell. Shin gave a yawn before walking by them and to his room plopping down on the bed.
"Bad day?" Came a voice a moment later.
Shin looked over at the door seeing Tsu standing there, watching him.
"Naw, I was chasing owls all day." He said, shaking a hand then rolled onto his side, "I'm going to take a nap. Wake me up when dinner is ready?"
Tsukiko nodded his head, "I will!" He yipped, tail wagging before he turned to hurry out of the room, closing the door behind him.
The hunter gave a yawn before letting his eyes close and a moment later he slipped in sleep...
It was rare for the baby to be ready to change back to its form in the daytime. But Shin had a rather quickly developing kid. As he slept his soul seemed to leave his body, floating above it, the soul of the relic around his neck. The godling's spirit must have taken the form of the relic so it would be used to being in a body again. However, Shin had other things to worry about.
After all it's not usually that you go to sleep, leave your body, and see a crazy ghostly door on the other end of your room. Wait-Ghostly door?! Where the heck had that come from? And what was with the funky doorknob? It was an old black door and had a gold knob that was in the shape of one of those oriental dogs-or dragons. Whichever. Anyway it seemed to be beckoning him to enter it. What was that about? Probably the god-kid's doing.
At first the man was rather confused at where he was, well both where he was and why it felt as if he were floating instead of laying down like he remembered being. Shin starred at the door blankly for a moment before he stepped forward towards it, finding his hand reaching out to take hold of decorative knob to turn it and turned it. He had seen the animal depicted on it before though never a live one, only the statues of the ones that were sold in certain shops in the mall. He pushed the door open and looked inside, he didn't see anything aside from darkness from this time so he forced himself to step forward through the door.
There was something on the other side of this door so he was going to have to face whatever it was, "Hellos?!" He called, voice seeming to echo into the darkness.
Behind him the door closed and vanished. But what was more interesting was what was laying on the ground before him. A young man with fang-like teeth and a rather odd hairstyle seemed to be dead on the floor. He had the tail of a large scorpian and batlike wings. His lower body was somewhat spider like. While there seemed to be a headdress that had been hiding his face it was ripped to shreds. His skin was dark, possibly obsidian. Upon it there were strangely colored markings. He looked rather exotic but what was most interesting was his hair. He had two rather large bangs that jutted from his forhead and fell forward near his eyes. His hair went back in a strange spikey version of a mohawk and on the sides he seemed to have cornrows. But they all joined at the back to form one long braid at the top of his head. This braid had feathers and claws hanging from it, just as they hung around his neck. Oooooookay then.
What showed that he was dead was a giant gaping hole in his chest. And there was a mark around his neck. As if he'd been decapitated and his head had somehow been returned in this ghostly state. Shin, having had his job for the time he had, knew the mark of a monster hunter who'd taken his prize.
And lucky him. The strange beckoning was seeming to ask him to touch the body. Oh joy.
Shin was frozen place for a moment as he looked the body in front of him over, moving forward studying it intently. It was like no creature that he had ever see before and for a moment he felt the desire to try to figure it out, what was it exactly? He had pieces to several of the monsters that he had before separately seen. A giant scorpion, a giant spider, the wings of a large bat... he wondered if the wings could carry his large form with what it was like... maybe? The hair style was quite interesting too, flashy.
He had to applaud whatever hunter took this beast down, that had to be one hell of a fight against something like this.
He took another step closer to it, why was it that he felt the urge to reach out to the body? Was this... was this it? This was the Monster God? Couldn't be... well it would make sense for God to have pieces of several different monsters. He tried to draw his hand back but he couldn't seem to do it, couldn't seem to draw it back, "No..." He murmured, giving a little jump as his hand came to rest on the creature's body.
And yet as he thought it couldn't have been it was. The Tison Monster God had been taken down-by a sub-par monster hunter even. While he'd been able to slay any foe before seen this one had been possessed by another Deity and therefore had power the young god did not. He'd quickly fallen at that.
When Shin's hand touched the body it began to glow as did the chain around his neck. The relic and the body were both covered in a strange light-making it impossible to see anymore. The necklace shot from it's position and into the form. And after the glowing ceased there lay a dark skinned baby on the floor where the god had been laying. His skin didn't have all of the markings and he looked a lot more human then that god had-what with no tail, no fangs, human legs, and no wings-but it was most noticible that he had nice hair. It was a shade of red with golden tips. No mohawk right now but that may return as he grew. Well at least he was cute. So this was a baby godling. But what to do with him? Could he leave the child? Probably not they were both stuck in here. And the baby was awake anyway. Little did Shin know that when he picked up the baby the door would reappear, but only when he took the child.
Shin starred down at the body as it started to shift and change, instead of the massive form created by several different monsters pieced together. He found himself instead looking down at the creature... child. It was now human shaped and for the most part rather normal looking aside from the skin and hair colors. He knelt down in front of the kid before reaching out to pick him up. The baby gave a yawn and a grummbling sound, then gazed up at Shin with big eyes... before he gave an excited sort of sound before he leaned over and started to gnaw upon Shin's hand. Luckily for him though the kid was lacking in teeth, rising to his feet he saw the door had appeared once again behind him. He shifted the baby so that it was resting in the arm of the hand he was chewing on and walked forward towards the door. He paused to look over his shoulder around the darkened room.
"Come on brat. Lets go home shall we." He said, giving the boy a look. As he stepped back through the door again something occurred to him, unlike the twins and the angel this one didn't come with a name. He supposed that would be the first thing that he would have to do was figure out something to call him aside from 'brat'. Until he picked he supposed that 'brat' would be a sufficient nickname.
When they walked through the door they were again in the room. There was a small baby boy in the bed beside him-sleeping as well. When the two went back to their bodies they'd be pulled in and be able to wake up. After that he could deal with dressing, well introducing him to his brothers. And naming him of course. That'd need to be done soon. Maybe he should call Rouge to let her know even.

Shin came away starring up at the ceiling once again, he was having the weirdest dreams and he was completely sure that they were all the fault of the relic around his neck. The little monster was giving them to him, no doubt in an attempt to drive him crazy. Shin lifted a hand to his chest to where the relic had been only to find it missing. He gave a gasp and jerked to sitting up to look around for it, only for a moment as instead he found laying there on the bed rather contently the dark skinned child that he'd seen in his dream, "Ahh... so that wasn't a dream." He breathed, reaching out a hand towards the child but found himself freezing when red eyes opened up and starred up at him in a lazy manner, he flicked out his tongue at his father in a snake like sort of way and grummbed, "Good evening to you to, Brat."
The boy's eyes narrowed for a moment and he gave a sound that was somewhat like a growl.
"I'm sorry kid. You can't be seen as intimidating until your able to sit up on your own." He informed him, "And especially when you have no teeth."
The boy started to flail his arms and legs in a very indignant sort of way before he finally gave up realizing that the man was right and that he couldn't seem to sit up or attack from his current position. What a pain... so he settled for growling and glaring since he could do that at least. Shin shook his head before he got up to his feet, "And being cute isn't going to allow you to worm your way into my heart either." He informed him as he went to dig around in one of the bags that was sitting on the floor. He took out the package of diapers, looked them over in a blank sort of way before looking to see if there were instructions on them, after a moment he figured out how they worked and had one on the monster before it could pee on his bed... or worse.
"There we go. Now... what do little monsters eat?" He asked, reaching over to pick the kid up, walking out of his room. The little Godling was hissing in indination, he didn't need to be carried! He could do it on his own! He thought to himself then realized that he couldn't even figure out the words to yell at the person that was carrying him so he doubted that he could quite figure out the walking. And then he found himself deposited in the pen... the ultimate insult!
"Ahhh... what's that?" Tsu asked, sliding down off of the couch to look down into the pen. His gaze met those of the little boy in the pen before he giggled, so cute! And tiny! Tsu had never seen a baby before. He reached a hand down to pick up a toy to shake it in front of the baby. The rattling noise caught the monster's attention and the baby found himself utterly facinated by the sound and colors, "Here, here. Hold it?"
Small hands lifted and grasp at the toy though didn't seem to have the easiest time doing so, motor skills a little lacking having just been 'born'.
Yoko walked over to looked down at the kid, trying to see what Tsukiko found so facinating. It was just a little kid... he gave it a look then snorted. He had no real interest in it and found himself jealous that his twin did. Tsukiko was only supposed to play with him not with other random kids that he found! He reached down to take the hand that the rattle to try to pull Tsu away from the baby. The baby gave a hiss not because the blond was being taken but with him the rattle! Hey! That rattle belonged to him. The rattle forgotten as he caught hold instead of Yoko's hand and bit him, rather hard for someone without teeth.
Yoko's eyes went huge and he growled silently as he tried to jerk his hand away from the kid, thats it! The little brat was going to get a beating! He lifted his other hand, planning on decking the Monster God when his hand was captured. His angry eyes turned to glare up at Keiji.
"You leave him along." Keiji snapped, "Hes just a baby, he doesn't know any better."
"Besides Yoko, you started it taking his toy away." Tsu said, lowering the rattle again to shake it drawing the boy's attention once more to it and he released the hand he had been gnawing at to instead to play with the rattle. Yoko drew his hand back, shaking it before he shoved passed his twin and Keiji to go and sit down on the couch again to sulk. At about that time Shin returned with a cup of milk for the Godling.
"I see you three have met the little monster." He said, looking down at him.
"He's cute!" Tsukiko said, tail wagging wildly, this was echoed by a snort from Yoko.
"I am glad you think so, the three of you will be helping to care for him when I am at work." Shin said, reaching down to scoop the kid up again. He sat himself on the couch to and set to helping him to drink the milk. Yoko scooted as far from the baby as he could, glaring, "Don't like him already?"
"Heh, the kid bit him." Keiji explained.
"Not suprising. He seems rather bitey." He said.
The baby was hissing and growling as he ate the milk, it had a slightly sweet flavor to it that he rather liked so he couldn't suck it down fast enough. The cup was soon empty and the boy's belly slightly swollen from eating so much in such a short time. He gave a little burp and slouched back against Shin, looking over the other three that were watching him. He blinked his red eyes a couple of times before he gave a growl, shaking his hands at Tsukiko demandingly. The boy tilted his head to the side as he reached down to scoop up the rattle and brought it over to hand it to the baby.
The young Godling shook it and then gnawed at the handle, pleased.
"Brat." Shin muttered, rolling his eyes. He could tell already that being cute would get him in good with Tsu and being a God would get him in good with Keiji, as for Yoko... he would hate the kid because he was taking Tsu's attention and because he was something that Keiji liked. Rather how Shin wouldn't trust the kid because he was a Monster.
"Does he have a name?" Keiji asked, wings wiggling as he looked the boy over.
"I've been calling him brat." Shin said, grinning.
"Shin! That's not a name." The angel said crossing his arms over his chest, "And most certainly not a name for a Godling."
"Well when I come up with something better I will let you know." He said, slumping in a lazy manner back against the couch his stomach grummbling, "Can someone fetch me some dinner?"
Keiji nodded before he went to do as he was he asked.
