Spring has come.
Was called for a gig again.
A one-month tour... starts from this Sunday onward.
Why didn't Rance tell me any sooner?
I'm wondering... when will they gonna have their own guitarist?

A little doodle before the band picks me up in the afternoon.
Maybe... I gotto hire Grant to take care of the house and tend the garden while I'm away... especially the white daisy plantation...

Some CDs are missing.

I was not busy so I took the job.
He told me something... not understandable but much like...

Grant dropped by to return the CDs.
But ended up slouching here all day.
Seems like... he likes the stereo very much.
He left his headphones here before he left home, saying.
"I shall be your constant visitor."
Since when did he takeover my house? -"-;

Went to see Rance, Jereon and Adriana at the same old place.
Suddenly I was asked about the kitty.
... This kitty... is very important...
the only thing that I cannot abandon...
I picked up a puppy.
He was bruised all over. Was in a fight maybe?
But strange... I felt compelled to take him home...
Despite the fact that... I hate dogs.
I'm neutral to other animals. Don't feel like keeping any pets in particular.
Umm... why did I take this pup?
It took me a long while to bandage him up.
The wounds are typical. But what's uncommon is the blood trails on him.
It's not his...
How strange... he couldn't have harmed anyone with such slim arms...
I wanna ask him... but he still passed out.
Oh! by the way, this pup is extraordinary big, bigger than other pups...
He's a demi-human... Human with beast attributes...
Actually puppy is not the right word to describe him.
But I somehow like to call him this way.

I gave my bed to the pup and slept on the floor.
When I woke up... he's still sleeping.
So I went out to buy food and first aid kit for him.
Back home at 10 a.m... The chibi jumped when I opened the door.
He looks frightened and alert... but didn't move away.
I handed him the food... he didn't take it. He just stared at me.
I think he might be unable to move.
So I intend to feed him... He cringed away.
I tried to talk with him but got no reply.
...Is he mute? I'm not sure.
In the end he touched no food...

The pup kept staring out of the window all day.
He took some water but still didn't touch the food...
I tried to change his bandages... but he didn't allow me to...

I decided if he still not allow me to change the bandages. I'll force him to...
Leave old bandages on would make the wound badly infected...
But to my surprise, he listened to me and let me change the bandages for him.
Though he still didn't touch any food.

The pup is not mute.
He just doesn't talk...
I happened to touch his shoulder when he was gazing out of the window.
He jumped and screamed out loud "NOOOOO!!!"
Then covered himself with the blanket... shaking...
I dunno what's wrong... so I let him to himself...
Later on I took him water and food. But no progress.
He still touch nothing.

The pup drank some water but still not touch food.
While I was unbandaging him
He seemed he wanna say something ... but hold it back.
He still gazed outside the window all the time...

It's been 5 days since he came to conscious... today is the 6th.
Why didn't he eat?
I told him he'd harm his health if he keeps on fasting...
He remained silent for a while before suddenly bursted out "NO!" and shook my hands off.
So I... changed his bandages instead of talking...
I was out to see Rance, Adriana and Jereon at our place.
Jereon told me something about beware of... the pup...?
And take good care of him.
I dropped by the grocery to get food and new bandages.
The pup... was out in the garden...
He finally eats.
Finally it was cleared to me that what troubled him all the time is...
Why I saved him...
Huh... why thinking so much?... kiddo.
Every question got its own answer but some need no answer.
He sat crying for a long while...
Seems like he has nowhere to go. No home... nor family.
So I let him stay.
It doesn't bother me much.
That was the first time I saw him smile...
Laxis... is his name.
He ate a big meal tonight.
Maybe for the part of the previous days?

What was once a dull puppy... is now... a jaybird.
He explores everything in the house.
Curiously asking me what is this and that.
His small voice calling me all day.
... Such an attention seeker...

Got his weak spot.
T-bones seems to be Laxis's fav.
His small cuts are nearly healed.
Only some big gashes... he needs few more weeks to completely healed.
But he looks so agile.
Doesn't look like a patient at all.

The chibi seems to interest in my guitar.
So I play him a tune. He likes it a lot.
And asks me to play more...
Until he falls asleep.
