I've heard about that rumor for years. It isn't going to happen. I did see a theme song for this half live half animation but it didn't have Lindsay in it. It was years old and apparently no station would buy it.

I'm sooo glad it was a rumor. LOHAN AS USAGI!!!!! WHAT HAS THE WORLD COME TO!!!!! She is the exact opposite of Usagi!!! Anyways it's just a rumor and it's not true. *sigh of relief*

I'm sorry but I find it darkly funny that they're going to get an anorexic to play a Usagi with her huge appetite. rofl
I'd love to see Joss Whedon do this but I sincerely doubt it. Why? For a whole bunch of reasons:
1. After what Fox did to Firefly, Joss refuses to work for or with them.
2. Joss is still way behind on making the Wonder Woman movie and several other projects. So even if someone else picked it up, he probably wouldn't have the time for it.
3. Lindsay Lohan makes too much money to do what would be considered a kid's series. Fox wouldn't put up the money she'd want for a weekly series, especially for one that's not guarenteed to be a huge hit with the masses.
4. Well, I could give more reasons but it would just reveal that I'm too much of a Joss Whedon fangirl.
I think this is just one of those rumors that will make me hopeful and then disappear into nothingness (like the Devil May Cry movie, Petshop of Horrors movie). If this is going to be made into a series, it will probably have an unknown cast. And if it's Fox...well it might last a season or two but they'll find a way to tank it.

tmchiba The rumors aren't true. They were spread by a website that didn't know what it was talking about. Then other news sites picked up on it. The facts of the case have been disproven. Lohan was asked about it on MTV and she denied being involved in a movie. Hopefully there will be some sort of animated revival at some point though. That would be cool. agrees...as much as I wish that they would bring it back to life not like that ^.^"

ROFLMFAO!!! I'm so glad it is not true cause I'd be puking. I love Sailormoon but not Linsey. I think they shouldn't make a USA live action version. They sugar code too much. I love the manga version the best.
