Hello, I'm Verene, I am 18 and a student from the U.S.

I first read the BJT books when I was about 13, and have been thankful ever since that on that day when I went to the library I checked out all three not just the first one. I think I read them all in the course of two days.

I then went out and bought my first set of BJ books. Yay! By 15 or so I was attempting to get ALL of my friends hooked. (Still working on some, but I've gotten a few of them plus my mom and my sister.) Which is the reason why I lost my first set of books when a friend's mother spotted them (I'd loaned them out) and threw them out because she didn't want her son reading "satanic" materials. *sigh*

So I kept having to go to the library to read them until my best bud bought me the one volume edition for graduation. (You rock girl!) In the mean time I also read The Invisible Ring, as well as Pillars of the Earth another Anne Bishop novel from one of her other series, well and a lot of other books. I consume books,

Now I have magically gained yet another copy of the books! (I took mine to school so mom bought another for home xd ) As well as Dreams Made Flesh, which I am in the process of beginning to read. (I just finished Queen of Darkness for um...yeah... well however many times it's been)

I love the books, though I've never been able to get into the habit of role-play with any characters so far. Well I guess I just haven't been able to get into role-play in general. I don't think my brain is wired correctly for it. xp

I love to read though, and day-dream. Some of those random little day-dreams even make it into my own stories, which I have been known to write down on occasion.

My other passions include -- bookwise -- anything by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I love her writing. And the novels Watership Down and Tales From Watership Down by Richard Adams and Anne McCaffery's world of Pern.

Interests awy from books are; music - I sing, play two insturments, and will listen to just about anything, animals- For a long time I wanted to go into vet med, and that is still my fall-back major (yes... vetmed as fall back.. I know it's messed up.) And am in the process of setting up my own pet-sitting business, Russia - my current majors in school are Slavic Lang & Lit and International Studies with a East Europe Focus, and Linguistics - I'm a language nut, and a bit of geek so there you have it.

Since I am sure that aforewritten paragraphs are far more than any of you wanted to know about me. I'll stop now and just let you get to know my through interactions in the guild and aroud Gaia.
