"You really think so?" Kiva smiled brightly, hoping for a second confirmation of this opinion. "I have to learn everything all over..." She then admitted, suddenly a little crestfallen with a mild embarassment. "I always forget how to use my powers when I'm reincarnated."

She nodded, confirming her thought again, for the sake of the unsure goddess. "I think it is." she added again, verbally this time.
Nudging the 'child' with her nose gently, she added. "I think that you'll do fine. They say when you're younger, you learn things more easily, then when you've grown, and your mind has set itself into a mold and hardened."
Sitting down, the lioness sighed a bit. "It sure is a nice day."

Kiva smiled, accepting the gesture appreciatively, her air once again calming to a contented state. She really was having fun speaking with Mpezi, but she was aware in the back of her mind that the others would pobably see such a casual contact with a "mere mortal" as unseemly and unacceptable. They were so uptight... Pfft. Grown ups.
"It is, Sun is out and shining brightly today, I hope that means he's in a good mood." She grinned impishly as most children tended to do, suggesting that she knew the sun god and his usual mood swings-- in truth she didn't know the god personally and even if she had met him previously, she wouldn't recall yet. She, however, saw no reason not to make this observation, for she did know that the sun was in fact a diety of it's own existance, and she did, in fact, hope that he was in a good mood along with all the others. "It's not too hot and it's not too breezy, it's juuuuust right."
The young goddess offered a soft, wistful sigh, shutting her eyes and taking a deep breath of the fresh air, and incidentally Mpenzi's scent as well. Yes, she could smell others on the female just as she'd said. Two little ones and a male, as well as various other scents from her pride.
When Kiva's jewel colored eyes opened again they were happy... She felt like she'd made a good friend today, one whom she'd like to come back and visit if she could remain mindful that mortal's time moved quicker than her own.
"I would like to stay longer, but I should probably be on my way again. I've been away from my pride for some time as it is, and I only meant to get reaquainted with things before going back. I'd like to come visit you again sometime, though, Mpenzi. Shall we be friends?"

She mimicked the sigh, closing her eyes and allowing herself to bask in the sun for a while, it giving a nice warmth to her fur, in a way that no other physical body had a way to do so. "Mmmhmm.... it is." she agreed, purring slightly.
It was a chance meeting that had gone extremely well. Perhaps such a thing that would never happen ever again, or maybe it was a sign of good luck. At least it was one that her daily visits and strolls out through the lands were getting her somewhere.
Opening her eyes again, her attention shifte to the deity, whom seemed to have a look of calmness about her, in Mpenzi's eyes. That calmness soon melted away to that happiness, that she felt she loved to see, and could grow used to... Kiva's happiness took a different appearence then most others she knew of, and it was.. calming.
"I'm sorry to have taken up so much of your time, Kiva. It was lovely to chat though." Mpenzi agreed, smiling. Her expression dropped to a bit of surprise at the offer that was laid out before her, before smiling again and nodding.
"Of course! You're free to come back for a visit whenever you'd like." she purred, her inner self priding itself on making a new friend, whom she would hopefully be able to introduce to the family back at home. It would.. be nice.
"And hopefully next time we see each other, you'll be able to meet my little bundles of joy."

The goddess purred, lightly buffeting her head against Mpenzi's shoulder before stepping back again and preparing to take flight, smiling full of warmth. "I look forward to it, Mpenzi! Take care until we meet again!"
She crouched, readied her wings, and with an upwards leap and a few powerful wing strokes (which really did more to help her catch the air currents) she was able to get herself airborne. She cast Mpenzi one last smile before she flew higher and became a shadow in the sky, moving on in the direction of the Pridelands.

Returning the head nudge gently, Mpenzi nodded. "As do I." she agreed, watching the Goddess take her leave with a similar smile upon her face, before turning to look back to her home.
".. I better head back as well." she decided, heading back towards the rocky formation that formed the den of the Mteo'Nyungu. That night, she would most definately have to tell of this meeting to Warithi and her children. Oh, how she wondered how they would take of it.
"Purely, a meeting of chance."
