The story will take place after the events of Final Fantasy: Advent Children, but since Aerith wants to join the rp, we're going to either pretend she never died, or somehow got revived, that choice is her's. And since she is a part of it, the Turks will resume their mission of trying to capture the last Cetra for their own evil plans, and the Final Fantasy VII(Strictly FFVII) characters may join to provide protection of Aerith if they like, again, that is up to Aerith, or she can just run, that is also fine. And that's basically all there is to say about the rp as far as plot goes.

You mean like a battle arena type thing?

I was thinking of doing a fun RP. Of the orphanage in FFVIII, when Squall, Irvine, Zell, etc. were all kids. We would need the following characters: Edea/Matron, Squall, Irvine, Zell, Quistis, Selphie, Ellone, and anyone else I forgot to mention. There wouldn't really be a plot, just for fun... I call Squall. lol

I recall reading something about a colliseum idea and was hoping to expand on it.

It would be an RP to fight but so much more. We'd have a common city, so to speak, that all the FF characters would live in or around or at least visit. We could have tournaments perhaps or people could create and chose their own monsters to fight but then their team can either be purely themselves or they have to run around to recruit other fighters. All characters would have to remain in character or this idea would be useless. Because this way you'd have on going plots forming between the stems of characters that will hold them together.
Lets say Seifer was picking on Zell again and Zell challenged Seifer to a duel in the Colliseum and set the match up to be a 2v2 fight; Both of them bow have to go find a teammate better than the others. Of course, Zell could run to Squall or any of the classic FFVIII team but he could also seek out Cloud or Barret or Tidus, ext. But also they would go for Kuja, Sephiroth or Seymore only they'd have to barter and such to get the aide. This is getting confusing to explain... So, Zell would have to agree to do a favor for the others or something like that.
There can be a Sister Thread I suppose that would contain the rest of the world where quests can take place....like... Say Rufus gave Elena a mission to go out and retrieve some artifact but to do so she had to have Irvine's sharpshooting abilities. Irvine could go and say that he'd help her if she can get Reno to help Zell in the Colliseum or something like that... Characters can come up with their own bribability.
I hope all of that made sense to someone... It's just like a fun RP to test skill and go out and adventure without having a big bad villain after you all the time, you'd have sub-villains in the quests and the real villains can duke it out in the colliseum...
Ah! For the villains teaming up with good guys.. Surely there will be rivals among the evil characters and they know, who better to help them than the one pain in the bum that they had to deal with through out their game? And those good people can in turn decline or accept, if they decline they can always point them towards a char from a dif game. Say Sephiroth came to Cloud, Cloud would decline and say Seph would have better luck trying Locke or Tidus. See how this works?....uh ok I'll stop here now and wait..

My idea is this:
In Spira(FFX2), the Calm has once again disappeared. Sephiroth has bonded with the scattered evvil of Sin across the planet and created a new being.
The Farplane responded to this by drawing out Heroes from other lands and worlds (That is, Final Fantasy VII-IX) and given life to those who live on the Farplane (Auron, Tidus, Etc.)

The group gets together, all in Bevelle, In Baralai's Mansion.

Together, they must figure out how to save Spira, and essentially save the entire galaxy, before Sephiroth, in his new state, escapes the planet.

Okay in the wasteland right outside of Midgar a potral has open. Whose world does it lead to if any well Gau's of course his world has opened first. The portal leads right to Gau's wasteland too were he found the other portal that well sperated him from his friends. Now he can show others his world that is if he can find Setzer of course.
