I love neji ALOT. i wrote '200 reasons i love neji' and im up to number 141! ^^ you should try writing an 'resons i love neji' list. it normally helps you realize alot of stuff! O_O

But since Vice-Captain says so, it will be done.
He is very strong willed and very...uh...He lives up to his name as a genius. Over the years he has grown in strength and power to become stronger even though his limits in his clan. Even so, with his limits of not being able to lead the clan one day due to being born into the Branch Family, he still tries to have a better relationship with the Main Family.
Over the years, most especially after fighting against Naruto in the chuunin exams at age 13, he also seems to be doing well with a team, which consists of Rock Lee and Tenten, along with his teacher, Gai. In the anime, he can also be seen (Amusingly in my opinion) to tell Tenten to forget about rambling on about Gai and Lee's antics and such or whatever their enthusiasm can spit out.
He is also very good teammates with Lee as well, being that when Lee was injured right before the Sasuke retrieval arc, he was seen talking with Lee and helping him up.
He also throughly proved himself during his fight against Kidoumaru, as when almost no hope was left, he managed to pull through, but with barely any energy left and about two holes in him. He is recognized as a genius, even by Naruto, saying that "He...He's a real genius." or whatever, since I can't remember direct quotes.
From the beginning, he was a very powerful genin, being the number one rookie the year before the Rookie 9 had come out for the chuunin exams. Though, back then he was bound by the belief of fate and that there was no way that one could ever change the path of fate, that until his fight with Naruto. Before that, he had deep hatred against his the Main Branch, blaming them for his father's death.
But he has come a long way, and all that has changed.
Although he lost to Naruto, it was most obviously it seems, for the good. As after that, Hiashi comes to bow before Neji for apology, and explains the truth about his father, Hizashi's death. Neji is shocked, and tears are let out as this scene occurs.

So, is that enough? I couldn't think of much. Neji's awesome. Period. I think that reason is enough for me.
Also because his fighting style is very realistic to the Chinese Martial Arts style of the Eight Trigrams Palm style, Baguazhang. His fighting style contains the similar words of Eight Trigrams and such. His fighting style and he himself also seems to be related to the style of Neijia.
Okay, that's it. =) That's probably a slightly extended reason of why I like him. =D
