I'm more of a 3rd wave fan myself. Though Desmond Dekker, The Skatalites, and The Specials kick a** I think I'd pick Reel Big Fish, Sububan Legends, Forces Of Evil, Planet Smashers, Mustard Plug, MU330... I think you get the point sweatdrop

I'd have to pick third wave, first of all, because I'm deprived and haven't heard much second wave stuff. And second of all, two tone is a little too mellow for my taste, at least at the moment. xD

does anyone have any advice about getting my hands on some first wave? I want to try downloading but 1) I'm cheap and don't want to pay and 2) I don't understand how one downloads music redface tech illiterate. Any way to get it to itunes so I can put it on my ipod?

ok, I'm a ska besserwisser!
1st, change 2-tone to second wave please! couse there were a LOT of other ska bands than the 2-tone bands.(and a lot of the "2-tone" bands didn't release that much on 2-tone)
and I kinda only listen to first wave and second wave and think that thirdwave is not that good at all! (though mad caddies and bosstones are ok, and potshots)
