"There are rhinos around her!" her eyes buldged in their sockets, rhinos were certainly something to fear. "No way, you'll protect me...right?" She beamed at Danzi and lifted her head to look around her. Good, no rhinos in sight.
"Wait, you were joking weren't you, you jerk!" she mock frowned looking at him. She thought over his question, yes she did want cubs, and a companion, but how did she tell him that. "Cubs would be nice. Something to keep me company and play with!"

The male chuckled, continuing to walk. "Joking though I was... It IS a good point... And hey, I can be the bait so you can run away if you DO run into a rhino!" As they neared Pride Rock, his ears twitched. "I could keep you company... And play with you..." Even though he'd grown up, deep down, Danzi was still a cub at heart.

"You're a goofball!" she purred and sped up rubbing against his side playfully. She was used to being affectionate, it meant nothing to her other than the fact that he was a new friend and she could trust him. He WAS cute though! "Keep me company, eh?"
"So, who rules these lands?" a twinkle in her eye showed that she wasn't extremely interested in such knowledge, but after all it was good to know. "And is there a reason for me to fear being in these lands?" now that was an important question!

"Am I?" He smiled, then blushed at the rubbing. Swallowing a bit, he continued to walk. "Of course."
As they got closer to the rock, the shadow of the monolith soon fell over them, saving them from the oppressive heat of the sun. "Mufasa and Sarabi rule here, and when they pass on, their eldest daughter will rule." The orange lion started up the side of the rock, creamy-toed paws moving carefully. "Other than crocodiles, rhinos, and the occassional mad elephant... Not much, actually."

"I see, someday do you think I should emet teh rulers of these lands?" She looked up at Pride Rock in awe, it was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen. And lions live here? It was extraordinary compared to anything that she had ever seen, and as they walked into it's shadow it became more beautiful to her. "You live here?" she whispered in awe.
"Can I live here?" her voice was more quiet than a whisper. Her dark body seemed to cool the moment she entered its shadow, saving her from the sun as it beat down on the land.

Danzi couldn't help laughing. "You're full of questions... Even I wasn't that full of questions when I was younger." He had to stop at such a statement. He WAS getting old, wasn't he...? It felt like only yesterday that the elder two of his six adopted sibblings were born, and now his brother was a father and had a full mane.
"Of course you can live here. But you HAVE to meet Mufasa or Sarabi about that. Nobody joins the pride without their consent." His dark tail flicked lightly as he remembered his first encounter with the regal lioness. He'd been an adolescent, and he had noticed that she'd been a bit startled by him. Even now, he still wondered why.

"Promise you'll come with me to meet then, at least introduce me..? What if they don't want me around?" She sat down thinking about the world around her. A few months ago she wouldn't have dreamed about venturing outside her cave, Mvumo changed that showing that there must be some decent creatures in the world. And now she was ready to rush headlong into a pride?
"Where did you come from before here? You said you had the same markings, wouldn't that mean you came from the PrideLands?"

"Of course. I'm escorting you this far, aren't I? And don't worry, they're not very mean lions at all. They accepted me, didn't they?" He gave her a big, cheesey grin, sitting at the base of the massive ledge.
"Me? I was born at an oasis far from here. I came here on my own when I was just a cub... Maybe it's coincidence I look like the more pure Pridelanders..." The orange male sighed, eyes taking on a distant look as he stared at the northern horizon.

"You're royal to me! You've been so kind, I couldn't ask for a better, new friend!" She babbled excitedly looking around the place. "Man I'm hungry, are you hungry?"
She always seemed to be hungry not being able to eat enough for so long made her want food in abundance when she could get it. She'd eat her self sick and then feel like dieing for a few days.
"You've been very kind to me, but I'm hungry and tired.."

-Ahhh were his ears burning this day! Which was a strange and silly notion of course.. since as the king rarely did a day go by when someone somewhere didn't say his name in some passing way or another.
But nonetheless they did, and he twitched them at the strange feeling, massive golden paws carrying him gently across the savannah. He was in a pleasant mood today, now that all was right and good with the world again, and as he spotted a couple in the distance he picked up the pace, for once almost seeming to jog up to them, as opposed to his usual slow meander.
And as he neared more a familar pelt touched his eyes, and he called out warmly- "Ah! Good day Danzi."

"Ah, you sound like a true rogue coming into a land where food is plenty." He couldn't help smiling about that one. White-filled ears pricked as his name was called and he looked up, smiling slightly. "Good day to you, too, your majesty!" The orange lion bowed slightly, then motioned to Aadil. "This is Aadil." He wasn't entirely sure if she would actually join the pride or not, so he left it up to her to say.

Aadil bowed deeply and looked up pearing curiosuly at the king of these lands. He didn't seem that different from any other lion that she had seen.
"Good day your majesty! Hey Danzi, I think I could introduce myself! I am Aadil, and new to these beautiful lands." She smiled excitedly, meeting royalty was a little different in her mind than meeting a fellow rogue. This lion would decide if she were to stay around here, or be forced to leave.

((Some people rp him as being bigger then the other lions, an age thing. Robust and fluffy. But really you're right, he's just like any of the others. Need a pic?))
-His grin widened gently, nodding in soft greeting to the rouge female, as his golden tail began to twitch back and forth.- "Ahhh, welcome then. Enjoying the Pridelands?" -Truthfully he believed it was a question impossible to answer negatively, but he'd ask it nonetheless.-
-And not to ignore Danzi he turned his gaze a little, offering warmly.- "I haven't seen you in awhile, but then my head has been rather lofted in the clouds as of late. Have you been well?"

As he watched the two talking, the orange lion couldn't help but smile. Indeed, nobody could say much negatively about the lands. His ears flicked and he returned his attention to Mufasa. "Yes, sir, I have." His smiled broadened. "I fill with a sort of joy when I see how much my adopted brothers and sisters have grown with the passing seasons." Indeed, he practically swelled with pride about it. "The younger four will be fine hunters and huntresses."

A goofy grinned passed over the light brown lioness's face as she heard Danzi talk about such a large family. Her thoughts tumbled with images of Mvumo and of this new land. Danzi was so sweet and kind to show her around. It was by a stroke of luck that the King Himself would come by, she had the chance to meet him.
"This land is so beautiful, I only hope that I can stay in it a little longer," she murmured, not wanting to seem rude. "It's peaceful here and everyone seems so nice."
She was still thinking about family and what it would be like to start a family in these lands. If not she heard of other lands, other places the great world had to offer.
(I feel so lame, this isn't my best rping. XD I just am not in the groove.)
