i had them when they first came out and sold them for other things
my biggest regret was selling my AFK hat when I was questing for fairy wings waaaaybackwhen. It sold for really low because they weren't very popular, i was one of the few "popular" (at the time, shuttup XD lol) gaians who actually liked the thing.

In fact, haloed assholes are worse, because they've got that whole "Assholier than thou" thing going for them, and legions of fanatical minions who have been brainwashed by the shinyness. What, do you have someone in particular in mind? xd Actually not really. It was a generalization; I'm pretty sure the proportion of jerks to non-jerks is similar to that in the general population; it's just that the assholes with haloes tend to get noticed more, and tend to have those legions of minions. xp Of the people I could name who have or wear haloes, most of them are pretty decent folk. These days, I can't tell who owns a halo and who is getting a loaner unless they say so in their sig. xp

I keep my DJ's because my friend gave them to me, and I like the way they look.

I would never ever part with my two staffs that I have. Nor would I sell the last one of my October 04s. I would keep one letter and each staff because Twiggaterp donated them for my birthday.
And the only time I have parted with a letter is because I gave one item back to a friend I was borrowing, and gave them as gifts to others. I have only sold one letter and that was to Habuki Arcana Kuragari.
And I would never part with my Devil Horns because Habuki gave them to me when they were still worth 16k and I paid him back that much. Just like the KiKi Kitty Plushie won't ever be sold because that was a gift from Kanira. heart
There are also the numerous Christmas, Birthday, Valentines, and other gifts that people have given me. My Goti and Bani Clips, my Zony Discman, those were all given to me at a cheap price or as a gift.
Now some of the items I wish not to have, they just don't appeal to me, go in my house on shelves, or they'll be used as haggling matters when I finally have enough for my Devil Tail.
As for the price they have all the older items, it makes me cry. I can't believe that people would take them and sell them just so they can brag about how much gold they have or whatever. Once I get my Devil Tail, I won't ever part with it. It's mine and I will have worked very hard for it. It's been six months since I started the quest.
Some of the newer items, I would use to help get my tail, but that's it. I'm mostly a pack rat.

The two donation items I've sworn to never part with are my Angelic Pendant and Horns of the Demon, because they were a gift from a complete stranger who thought I was witty. I mean, sure, he just gave me the letters back before the items had even been released so they weren't that expensive, but I felt so cool.
I wish I had an OMG, and Minis, and a DT, and a sash, and all the other donation items that were given when I was around, but that was when I was an oblivious little CBer and didn't realize that there were cooler items than fairy wings. Sigh. (I also wish I'd kept my first account as my main account. The join date is only four months earlier than this one, but still.)
Even so, I'm too lazy to quest and I'm okay without them.

I lurve my pander and my devil tail, and chances are I will never ever ever ever sell them. However, my other 03/04 stuff is basically there for hoarding reasons. I love to hoard. Hence my 400+ spirited items. I don't know why. If that makes me a horrible person, oh well. XD
I did sell my second tail to a worthy questor a while ago and gave two December scarves to my closest friends. So, maybe that'll making my inane sense of "must hoard" seem better than it is. ^ ^;;
I just think people who join now should stop whining about 03 stuff and buy 04 stuff, because in a couple years it'll be "ooomg I want horns! But they cost 2mil! So unfair!" sweatdrop Y'know?

But, if I had spares I would totally give them away. They are realy hard to obtain nowadays so like.. yeh.

I cry sometimes because I gave up my OMG. Okay...that was an exaggeration, but it did mean a lot to me. I got it from my friend and I put it into the Minis offer. I used to say I wouldn't even give that thing to the Pope...it would be the last item in my inventory after I got rid of all of my other items, and here I am. OMG-less.
At least I know that it's going towards my goal and if it weren't it would be given to someone important to me.
