I do things online that I would never do offline. Yes, I do say outrageous things irl. Some of them are just as outrageous, if not more than for the fact I'm saying them aloud. I've always been fond of the Shock Factor, and as the Shock Factor on certain boundary lines of what is said fade, I say more pervy things to bring it back.
However, the desire to use the Shock Factor to gain myself laughs and attention is fading. Perhaps because I've realized, as I stepped out of my little privateschool world and into the real world of college, albiet a small college, that I can't say shocking things and be assumed to be joking if I'm not talking to people I've known all my life. I've also learned that I can fib easier to people that haven't known my all my life about incidents, a bad habit from when I was a child and would exaggerate stories to gain attention but then stopped because I came out as a horrible fibber because people would crosscheck or whatever. I've started again, that I don't like about myself at all. I'm trying to keep it in check.

Truth be told, I'm addicted to attention, online and offline both. But while online I shout it from the rooftops and jabber at random strangers, irl I have difficulty doing that without at least one person "to back me" or whatev, with me. Meeting strangers by myself can be hard. Possible employers or teachers, or other people in authority? Used to be painfully hard, but not anymore. But peers? If I'm alone, they have to talk to me, I can't talk to anyone. So in some circles I'm a loner.

I'm not sure what I'm getting at, but I think I'm saying that the ability to abandon your persona and pick up another at will, like, online, makes one so much more confident.

do it. it's not even legal for them to date without her parents' blessing. if they have sex it's statuatory rape and dating puts him at intent. and besides, she's twelve, wtf, she shouldn't have a boyfriend older than 14 for goodness sakes.
just make up a new email address and email her parents, if you can.
do other friends know about this girl's boyfriend? if you're the only one, it will still get pinned on you. But you should be willing to take that, your instincts on this not being cool are totally right.
My boyfriend is nearly 20 and my little sister is 13. If she was dating anyone his age I would do some asskicking, my parents would do some asskicking, and my boyfriend would do some asskicking.

ha, there we go, get a random adult to do it and say "there's talk about that your daughter is yaddayadda and some of her friends are concerned, as am i, and it was decided the only thing to do would be to give you the details and let you deal with it as her parents..."
