The one I used to have about four years ago I called Gonturan. It was from a book I read. I don't have that one anymore. It was only a rental. The last one I had I was borrowing from the school so I didn't name it because I didn't want to become to attached. I currently don't have one, but will be finally buying my own soon. I'll try to think of a strong name for it.

Anrea Ouch! The worst an E string ever got me was on the knuckles. More of an annoyance that actual pain...(Stupid school instruments...) Ooowww. Football shall die due to the fact that I caught the ball wrong YESTERDAY, jammed my fingers on my LEFT HAND, and IT STILL HURTS! At least I cant PLAY. (Sorta.) Otherwise, if you hear about some psycho going and torching all of the school footballs, that'd be me. ^^;; I've jammed my finger playing basketball before but not football although I'm sure its pretty much the same. Fortunately I've never jammed them bad enough that someone felt the need to pull them back into the right place gawsh that would hurt...they did get purple and bruised though *shudders*

Sanekazura Sometimes it's "jävla trähög", when it's not doing what I want it to do. That means f'cking piece of wood in swedish. how come violinists always blame their instruments when they're having a bad day? It's my own personal theory that instruments respond to the emotions of the person they know best. Thus if I have a bad attitude one day, my violin sounds angry at best, at worst it sounds like crap. Or, it's just a handy excuse - since instruments are notoriously tempermental.

Mine's Celeste, which means "celestial" in Portuguese. I was just kidding with my friend, when I bought it, asking what name I would put, then she gave the idea of this one. I liked, after all, and I still call my violin like this. sweatdrop People get confused when I say "oh, I'll get Celeste to play some for you!", they're like "wtf? eek "

A name should real have more of a non-realistic appearnce to it. Like Ajan, it think that's lovely. Naming an instrument isn't quiet as intence as naming a pet, but naming ur fiddle Spot or Ringo is really....weird...TO ME. maybe not ne1 else, but right now, only my lovely bow has a name....Goldie. I'm such a hippocrit. lol...hippo, that's funny.....! sweatdrop xp xp whee xp
