Kara wanted to approach the vampire, but was weary of it. If the confruntation turned into a fight, Kara wouldn't last long against a vampire in the dead of night. This was their element, not Kara's. Kara reluctantly stalked off in the other direction. She knew how to pick her battles.

She saw the human. " meh....weakling human..no back bone.."s he lay back and watched the moon. it was a night like tonight where she had lost her family.

It didn't take long for Kara to find a rabbit hole nearby. She set a snare on the enterance and waited for one to enter or exit. The vampire may have killed off her big game, but Kara still needed to eat tonight. She sat down cross legged just behind a large thorn bush to wait. She leaned back against a tree. As she waited, her eyelids were becoming heavy. It was getting hard to stay awake. She hadn't slept properly for two days. But this was no safe place to take a nap. Kara's head bobbed up and down as she tried to stay awake. But finally, her head softly lulled to one side. Her breathing became slow and deep. Much different from her usual short, silent breaths. Her face smoothed out; almost into a smile, which made her look about twelve years old. Against her better judgement and willpower, Kara had fallen asleep...

She felt bad for the lust for blood overidding her judgement. she caughter 4 rabbits and didnt drinkt he blood she wrang their necks and set them int he girls lap she walked off as the mist swallowed her up.

After a lon nights sleep he rises and begins training as the sun rises,, his slow movements turned to silouhetts by the orange sky

She saw the sunlight and retreated into a cave. she lay there in the shadows and let her self fall into a deep sleep.

Since he was on the horizon he realised he would be easy to spot, though he didn't mind at this point,, as for some unknown reason he had some anger that he was wanting to get rid of.

He heard someone or something in one of the nearby bushes. he could tell from the sound of heavy footing and snorting that there was definatly some form of creature there. From the darkness of the cover of the bushes all that showed was the creatures glistning eye. One of the brances rustled as the thing brushed against it. from the branch one of the leaves slowly fell to the ground as it touched the dirt the creature lept from the bushes, teeth bared and claw up ready to strike. However instead of finding it's prey there stood a wolf that had already lept halfway through the air. Before the wolfs reflection even apeared in the creatures eye the wolf had it's teeth embedded within the things dripping red neck.

Kara awoke with a start. Something had shrieked a dying shriek. She sat up quickly and realized there were four rabbits in her lap. As they fell to the ground, she wondered how they got there? She checked her snare and it was still set, untouched by anything. But she had bigger problems to worry about. She grabbed the snare and quickly used it to tie the rabbits to her belt. She then unshiethed her katanas and headed for the sound. She found a wolf and another animal. The creature in the wolfs mouth was dead. Kara shiethed one of her katanas. "You frightened me! I thought I was being attacked by trolls!" She told the wolf thinking she was just talking to dumb animal who couldn't understand her. She was about to turn away from the wolf and go back to figure out the mystery of the dead rabbits.

... when suddenly the wolf dropped his kill and edged towards Kara, though his teeth weren't bared and he didn't act threatening. The wolf was intreagued by Kara, Talak was interested to see what she was upto and decided to see if she would let him follow for a bit. he didn't mind leaving the kill as this creature seemed to have foul tasting blood, this must have been the taste of evil.

Kara noticed the wolf following her; but did not sence any threat so she let it go for the time being. She turned but kept an eye on the wolf. She went back to the rabbit hole but could not figure out how she managed to catch four rabbits without using the snare what so ever. Not to mention the fact that she'd been asleep the entire time! "What? Did they crawl into my lap and die?" She laughed.
After giving up on the rabbit hole, she set out back to camp. The wolf still trailed behind her and she was getting suspicious, but still let it pass. She got back to her camp by mid-afternoon. Her camp was hidden in a thicket in the hills. It was nothing more than a small tent made out of animal skins and a fire place vaguely marked by a few large rocks set in a circle. She lit a fire and began to skin and gut the rabbits. She kept a close eye on the wolf the entire time and it seemed to be watching her just as much as she watched it. "I suppose you would be staying for dinner then?" She said to the wolf, who sat down. She didn't mind the company. Infact, she quite enjoied it. All four rabbits were now roasting over the fire now and the sun was already setting. A half an hour later the sky was black. Kara pulled two crispy rabbits out of the fire and gave one to the wolf. "Here, enjoy."

Talak was quite amazed by the strangers generosity, after all he was used to being chaced and attacked all the time, though he remained weary of the stranger, mainly due to the animal skins, it had rossed his mind he might become the new roof. But this human seemed different, though she was heavily armed and seemed to be a knowledgable warrior he saw a strange glint in her eye from the fire. It seemed as though there was a tragic event behind her.  He wasn't used to cooked meat but he hadn't eaten anything for a while and wasn't fussy. Once the meal was finished Talak decided he would leave the girl be and begin again on his own journey. He stood up and lowerd his head slightly to say thanks for the meal. He wondered away from the heat and light of the fire and slinked away into the shadows of the surrounding trees. As he shadows hit him he changed back to being elven and found a nearby tree to climb. The moon had begun to rise. His resting branch was high and gave him an excelent view of the surrounding forest that was now silver from the moon. . The birds in the surrounding trees sang their songs into the night and Talak drifted into a world of dreams.

Kara was sad to see the wolf leave but didn't try to stop him. She hadn't had a companion in three years. Every man or creature she ran into, she usually ended up killing because of their treachery and evil hearts. She threw another log on the fire and decided this would be the last night she stayed here. By the light of the fire, she unpitched her tent and folded it into a bag. She slung it around her back and put the fire out. She was sad that she had to move again. But she knew if she didn't, the local inhabitance would eventually become aware of her and she would be forced to leave. She sighed with a frown and began making her way West.
