"Good good," she nodded when Koyuki rattled off her current list of numbers, "And don't forget the most important one -- 457-8333, for pizza. ...Oh, and 911, that one's important too."

It was surely a sign of an imminent apocalypse, no doubt. For once in her life, Shuura was actually....

...ON TIME?!!!!

BWAHAHHAHAHAH! The ponytailed girl chuckled inwardly, irritably rushing a rosy-haired Frei in front of her through the grand double doors of some Koyeww-something's house.

There was no doubt about it, whenever a chance to shirk responsibility arises, Shuura would surely be there to take advantage of it. Making someone else take care of her Raeven for a night while she partied it on in Jules' grand crib? Jules, the normally incurable bore, actually loosening up enough to throw an actual goddamned party?! There was no way in hell she would miss out on such an opportunity.

"HELLOooo." Shuura called out insolently. "JULESSAIDDUMPTHERAEVENSHERESOHERE, SHE'SALLYOURSKAYBYE!" without even bothering to wait for a reply, or even a person, Shuura deposited her shady charge in front of the puny fishpond with the fake bridge and zoomed out as fast as she entered, nearly bowling over Lazarus in her hasty getaway.

Vyn swirled around indignantly to glower at her guardian's rapidly retreating back, her normally sleek appearance looking slightly ruffled from all the rushing.

Aphismet was ambivalent about the situation.

On the one hand, he was happy to be getting rid of Rivener for a night... It would do him good to just relax without having to worry about the poisonous scorpion-soul, for once. Ever since that unpleasant incident with the pizzas...

On the other hand, he was terribly unsure about leaving Rivener alone with a bunch of other Raevans, without any chaperones (as far as he knew). God knows what Riv would end up doing to the others. He was a menace.

He finally arrived at the house, and stood in awe for a minute. It was huge! He almost tripped as he hurried to catch up to Riv, who hadn't stopped to admire the view so much. "Wait, wait. I should let you in," Aph called after his charge meekly.

"Why? It's a Raevan party, why do I need you to let me in?" Rivener asked coldly.

Aphismet, too tired to argue, simply ran past his Raevan and pushed open the double doors. Looking inside, he spotted three Raevans already; one he knew, and two others he hadn't met. "Oh, Vyn!" he said, focusing on the one he was familiar with. Or, familiar enough. "Can you do me a favor and make sure Rivener doesn't get in too much trouble?" He knew he was probably asking for too much, or perhaps Vyn wouldn't even care, but he could at least say he tried. "Now, you behave yourself!" he called to Riv as he turned and left, pointedly ignoring the look on Rivener's face.

Rivener was smiling slyly at Lazarus. He was very glad to see the incubus, and smirked as he simply floated by without bothering the fire Raevan... He imagined he would keep his tormenting of this one for later. Instead, he headed for Vyn.

"Hello, Vyn," he said, his voice as honey-mellow as always.

Julian was quite late, and he honestly had no planned excuse to explain why. Surely, he might have used the one that involved him spending some hours setting up his apartment complex for the other event, but somehow the point seemed invalid. There was yet another excuse in Gage's surprisingly stubborn attitude upon hearing that one Raevan in paticular would be at the party, but yet again it was not something Julian did not know how to deal with.

It seemed Julian was late merely because he was, and that alone had the artificially red haired man quite irritated.

"Gage, in!" the young scientist commanded fiercely, pointing as soon as the doors were in view. For the longest time he had been pulling the radioactive Frei along by a single wrist, but now Julian finally let Gage go entirely. Julian's expression was stern, and left no room for arguement. For Gage's own sake, the man sorely hoped he did not try and attempt it.

It was mildly amusing to see how well Gage could convey an emotion with only the use of his eyes. The majority of his face was kept firmly hidden from public view by his mask, but somehow the Raevan kept his feelings blunt all the same. The narrowing of his eyes at that paticular moment, for example, showed his clear disgust and discomfort in being treated in such a manner by his guardian. It was very rare for him to go against Julian's wishes, but in this situation he thought it was justified.

However, with Julian seething and only a foot away, Gage was inclined to turn and float onwards. He was somewhat hurt by his "father"s act of betrayl, but emotions matter very little to Mr. Sweet. Both he and his ward were more than merely aware of that fact.

"Finally," Julian hissed between clenched teeth, pivoting to head back to his apartment. If he was lucky, he could open the owners party in just enough time for his late arrival to appear graceful.

"JULIAN! And hi, Gage!" Koyuki said happily before Julian disappeared, "I'll be there later~"

She chose to be oblivious to the discomfort of Gage, the embarassment of Laz, the behavior of her own child, and the haughty manner of that other Raevan. They were invisible. Completely invisible. Absolutely invisible.

"Laz no like?" Sev's eyes widened as his friend flailed, "I-I'm sorry!" He abruptly let go and floated about worriedly.

Aki held open the car door with a smile, stepping back a bit as Melisande floated out. The girl had been so excited, ever since the invitation arrived. Curls bouncing as she nodded in gratitude, Pasha drifted a few feet away and gazed at the invitingly open double doors. So beautiful!

Her cheeks were pink with excitement, matching the tiny pearls woven into her gold strand tiara. She'd talked Aki into letting her wear it, despite her guardian's objections. A long scarf, tied at the back of her slender neck, fluttered behind her as she spun. "Here?!"

Nodding, Aki shut the door and gave Meli a hug...handing her the stuffed little sling bag. "Yes, this is it! Here is everything you need, and have a good time. Be safe!"

Melisande nodded, too distracted to do more than pat Aki on the back, before spinning again to drift towards the mansion. "Goodbye! Hello!"

Aki laughed, and watched her go. Such a darling girl!

Raising one hand, spreading her fingers wide, Meli beamed. "Gage~!" Bobbing a bit closer, pausing some ten feet away, she peered at him with bright eyes. They'd been interrupted last time they'd tried to talk!

"My lovely party!" She wasn't quite clear on the concept, even though Aki tried to explain it to her. She was invited, and it was a party, so...it was her party too, wasn't it? Looking around, curious to see everything in the ballroom, she let her bag drop absently to the floor before glancing back to him. Her eyes closed in a beaming smile. "Hello!"
