Oda is just the best mainstream mangaka today. One Piece is consistently fresh with the story line, the characters are well-developed and loveable, and his style is supreme. I read Naruto and Bleach for a long time, but I fell out of both of them. (Especially Naruto - damn that manga sucks now). I hardly read any manga/watch anime nowadays, but I am ALWAYS up to date with One Piece!

Tch, naruto the magna only sucks because you can't stop putting the annoying voices in for the characters from the anime(Or rather their catch phrases"Believe it!")...I can however say myself I guessed correctly just about how every voice should have sounded... it's either because it's cliched or kishimoto is too goof at his job. : P

Haha, I don't watch the dub, and I don't even watch the sub anymore since the filler-hell started. No, the manga just sucks in general. Truthfully, it started going downhill after the Gaara and Naruto fight, but I stopped reading when Sai magically became a good guy and Sasuke showed up in maternity clothes.

I read/watch One Piece because... well, I first got into it through the subbed anime from a friend of mine who kept posting these hilarious screenshots and I was all "welp I have to check this stuff out".

But what hooked me to One Piece was, well... everything. The storylines, the characters, the art, the... I am a total fangirl, okay?

Hell, One Piece has managed to do something for me that few series do -- actually feel love and hate for the characters. I wanted to see Crocodile and Arlong get beat up so bad, cried for Robin etc etc...

..yet somehow that backfired and I have a dorky obsession with Spandam now. I have no clue either.

I read the (English) manga because.. well, I've become addicted to it. The crew is very unorthodox, and it's a much better alternative to the crappy dub. Momoo hooked me onto it. And now I can't wait to read volume thirteen of the manga. I even like the villains! But I enjoy SBS Question Corner a lot too, because Oda-sensei is so witty when he answers ridiculous fan letters.

I read One Piece because it just keeps getting better with each chapter pirate and even after many years will still be supreme! xd Wheeeeeeeee! whee
