The compliment Crusher gave to Wakara sent Wakara's nerves and emotions on end. Wakara always knew that Crusher stuck to his promises; no matter what he accomplished what he wanted.. within due time. It took awhile for Wakara to regain her posture since she began fantasizing over the nights she had spent lying in a silk bed with a handsome beast next to her. Lust aroused her senses, but what brought her back to reality was the thunderous clap and sudden presence of an unfamiliar face. With a calm voice and a gentle smile, she replied to the young looking dragon: "No, no. Stay. Come, come, now. Introduce yourself."
Calyspo was stunned by Wakara's reaction towards the newcomer. If -she- had entered late, who knows what would have happened to her. For goodness's sake, Calypso knew that Wakara would most likely place in her a pitiful state of guilt. Even still, Calypso was taught great respect for all people, even if they were annoying, elder pricks with nothing better to do with their time other than fantasizing about past sex.
Despite the rude interruption of the new coming, Calypso, still wearing the formal gown, stared at the dragon's clothing. Her first thought was who would wear anything as disgusting as that, then her second thought was nearly blurted out from mere laughter.
"Honestly, now. Tell us who you are. You can't be who I think you are. I mean, you're not even wearing the traditional clothing!" Calypso's voice echoed throughout the entire counsel hall. Only she found what she said to be funny. A high pitched laughter filled the room, but soon all became quiet when Calypso heard she was the only one laughter.
"..What?"

The Dragon bowed and said, "I am Styx of The Black River, guardian of the river which bears my name. Also, my outfit ammuses you? It is merely the armor that all Guardians of the river are supposed to wear, but if it would help any..." He focused for a moment, and suddenly, his armor transformed to a black with red lining formal robe, and his Scythe had vanished. He then said, "Is that better?" It would most likely be hard to believe that he was the guardian now, since Styx's fathers passing to Tartarus ((The Underworld for Draconic Guardians)) was completely unknown to anyone save those who worked directly with him and the River itself. He had met a demon recently who believed that Styx was merely joking since his father was not all that old when he passed on, but indeed, the mantle of Guardian had been passed on. He walked to the table and bowed once more.

Calypso nodded to what Styx had said, and bowed her head in forgiveness, but once his previous armor literally melted into a beautiful gown of red and black, her laughter soon bounced off of the walls again. Tears welled up in her eyes from laughing at the image of the dragon before her wearing clothing she found not fit for his build. What was worse was having the entire counsel leaders stare at her in utter disgust with Wakara feeling humiliated to have worked years and years on this laughing imbecile.
Calypso wiped away the tears from her eyes and tried her hardest to hold back her laughter. Her face flushed from embarrassment, but mostly from the force of breath escaping from her lungs. By the time she became still and quiet, Styx's clothing lost the comedic appearance Calypso found hilarious.
Wakara cleared her throat and stood up, extending a gentle hand to the new comer. "We welcome you, guardian Styx of The Black River. I apologize for my pupil's rude behavior. She tends to be quite.. indecent, immoral, and immature the majority of the time. Very forgetful of many concepts and traditions."
After speaking and taking a small glance at Calypso who was now fiddling with her gown and choking back giggles, Wakara once again seated herself.

Crusher had smiled a bit from the way that Wakara had reacted from the compliment he had given her. He had watched as Styx of The Black River had made his enterence. Crusher watched as Styx had introduced himself and he stayed quiet. When Calypso had her laughing fit a slight smile crossed his lips as he thought to himself. She sure seems full of life. He glanced over to look at Wakara with a slight smirk. Sure reminds me of the way I used too be. Wonder if Wakara will see that and keep her under control. I sure hope so. Wakara sure helped me with that kind of thing.

Styx nodded and sat down in one of the free seats, near the Half-Dragon, he looked over at Crusher and bowed his head respectfully and then looked to the rest of the people at the table and then sighed. He had to think to himself, 'What am I doing here? Why was I sent here and why did father have to up and die right before this blasted meeting...' He then spoke outloud and said, "I am aware that my father was the one who was choosen to attend this meeting and be the Champion of Dragonkind, but, sadly, due to unforseen circumstances, he passed on recently...So I have been sent in his place." He sat sort of nervously, quite odd for the Guardian of The River Styx to be so humble.

The story Styx spoke of about his father passing away in short notice opened a more emotional effect towards Wakara and Calypso, both whose eyes widened in shock and sorrow. Wakara knew what it was like to lose a family member. Over the years she lived in discomfort and loneliness, despite the frequent visits of Kaze, her daughter and granddaughter passed away. Her daughter from disease and her granddaughter was murdered. Although she knew exactly what happened to them, Wakara still refuses to tell Crusher the truth: That his daughter is dead.
Calypso genuinely seated herself next to Styx; her arms angrily crossing over her chest in annoyance of having to be seated next to him of all people in the room.
Time seemed to have slowed whilst everything in the counsel hall was still. No one moved, no sounds were heard other than a clicking by which Calypso clicked her heels together from impatience.
To break the silence, Wakara opened her mouth and started to speak of nonsense about traditions the original heroes from the past wars kept throughout these centuries, but during her uninteresting speech a low, humming sound and a heavy vibration interrupted. Calypso halted her absurdly annoying clicking and brought one hand to the tiled floor of the counsel hall.
Wakara stood from her seat, eying Calypso's actions. Apparently Wakara had felt and heard the sound too.
"Cal, go to the front gate and ask the guards if they have seen anything coming." Wakara looked over to two other guards stationed at the front entrance to the counsel hall. "You two, split and check both the East and West wing windows. Look for any mechanical automobiles or anything that looks gigantic."
Calypso nodded and jumped from her seat, nearly knocking it over in the process. Although she wore high stilettos, she had to obey Wakara's command. As fast as she could, without falling from the skinniness of the heals and the vibrations coming from under her heels, Calypso ran out of the counsel room front entrance towards the main gates.
Meanwhile Wakara stood up and walked towards the balcony Kaze had before stood, peeking over the cement railing only to see nothing below her but darkness.
[Oh.. suspense..]

Styx rose slowly from his seat and suddenly, transformed into his true form, coiled around the room he quickly flew out the main door of the council chambers and took his place coiled around one of the spires of this place, so he could watch. He was most definantly the single largest and longest creature here in his true form, being a insanely long serpent. He scanned the horizen and growled, "I see nothing...Only the wide world..."

Crusher had stayed were he was sitting and listened as Styx had spoke. Hmm... that's why he didn't have exactly the same scent. He thought too himself. Well that certainly is unexpected, but he seems just as powerful. He'll probably still make a good champion.
He continued to stay seated even though he had felt the vibration but didn't make any movements. Crusher stayed calm but at the same time he wanted to know why the vibration was. Gotta stay calm, in situations like this I need to listen too the leader. That's what the leader told me if I remember correctly.

The counsel hall fell silent as Wakara walked back into the room, dragging the long flowing cape draped over her shoulders across the sleek floor. The humming sound became louder by each minute, and the vibrations increased in speed. It literally felt like the Earth was moving beneath her feet in its regular momentum of a twenty-four hours daily cycle.. but only faster, as if speeding through time.
Wakara glanced at Crusher, a strong look of concern and worry showed heavily in her eyes. The once beautiful bejeweled saphire eyes transfixed on Crusher's silky green hair, dulled out into nothingness. Moments had passed before she spoke again: "Crusher, check the balcony for me again. My eyes seem to fool me each day, perhaps your eye sight is better than mine." With her last words, Wakara swiftly moved back to her chair, nearly toppling over from the vibrations below her during the process.
Meanwhile, Calypso, tripping and stumbling over her own two feet, reached the front gates where she was greeted by two guards wearing plain thick leather and metal hats. At first Cal was bound to insult and humiliate their armor, but instead returned to her casual business she was requested upon. The guards nodded and observed the area around them while they spoke of seeing nothing in their surroundings during the entire meeting.
Cal shook her head. "Well, if you see anything please inform us as soon as possible." The guards nodded again, saluting her and resumed their posts at the gate.

Kinn soon walked into the Council chambers as if he knew he was not late. His scarf was risen over his mouth to conceal his face from the rest. Most of the cloths he wore was damp. The snow had its toll on Kinn physically and mentally. He crossed his arms when eyes moved from left to right. He saw a few figures that he had heard of. Kinn kept his mouth shut when sitting down. He felt slightly out of place.
"Uh...I'm Kinneas Volaju, champion of the humans." He gave off a small wave to those at the table. Kinn was embarassed at his appearance. He was cold and wet and tired from the journey. These creatures all had some special power. Angels, demons, and dragons were all thinsg that Kinneas envied in one way. In the end, the man was glad to be human.
Kaze gave a slight smile to the boy. He was a child in his eyes and knew already of the inexperience this Kinneas wielded. "Welcome. I am Kaze Kuroi. I shall say this but you already know...you are late." Humans were never on time at least to Kaze's knowledge. Their race was never a favorite in his eyes but they were tolerable. "But that is quite alright."
His attention turned to Wakara and what she said. "Getting old?" He chuckled slightly when speaking to his old friend. He, too, would probably not be able to see such a great distance. His body fought against itself every day making him weaker every minute.

((sorry for this erm, shitty-post, I really suck at intros ^^''))
Incessant, redundant, an overwhelming little nuisance, call the humming what you must, but truth be told, as I will tell you, this song erupted not from a pest or foe, but rather from the proud, silver-scaled beast with impossibly wide wings, gliding though the air with apparent ease.
Opening a massive mouth, a little intimidating sight to witness and to that I will admit, the lone dragon released a heavy cry, which seemed to echo and shake the earth with thundering may. Soon after the cry had ended, though the sound still lingered in the air, the colossal beast closed its jaws as it caught sight of what it had, all along, been looking for.
With gentle, quick beats, Evelline pelted down to meet the earth below her feet, finding it no longer needed, to stay in this shape at the time being.
Landing with a heavy thud, a bit ungracefully for her taste, she rose to her hind legs for a moment, before she transformed into the human body she had been told to impersonate. Dusting the hem of the robe, that appeared over the clothing she wore, the pale silhouette moved towards the castle she was well supposed to have reached more than half past and hour ago. With short, lithe steps, ones she wasn't well-accustomed to, the 'young' representative made her way through, embarrased, though not genuinely sorry, for being late to such an important matter.

Crusher glanced toward Wakara as she spoke. Hmm... the leader also said that there will never be any cooperation between the races. Wakara is still an important member of this counsel. Heh... of course I will do this for her. "Of course." He said with a slight smile rising to his feet bowing slightly too Wakara.
Heading toward the balcony slowly his hair swaying gently as he made his way. Even though the vibrations were getting heavier it didn't seem to cause him to stumble. Slowly he walked out onto the balcony and stopped when he reached the edge. Crusher looked around outside and everywhere trying to see what was causing the vibrations.

Frustrated by the continuous rampaging judding underneath her feet, Wakara arose once more, swiftly walking towards the middle of the room. The other late members arrived nearly just in time, and with a sigh of relief Wakara began speaking of party search she had just sent out. It was unusual during this time for anything like this matter to occur. It wasn't because of the roaring dragons, it wasn't because of any human machinery or demonic structure that Wakara knew it, but deep down inside it was something, or someone, feeling the urge to create such a nuisance.
Calypso entered the room with an exhausted look on her face. Running in stilettos and a heavy formal gown was not an easy task, even if she had been training for awhile. Just as she was about to speak, the tiniest cracking sound crept to her ears. Calypso's eyes drifted towards the floor. The only thing she could see was the specially carved lines outlining the different tiles.
From a distance, Wakara peered over at Calypso, watching as Cal's eyes danced across the floor. Wakara, too, had heard the same cracking sound and soon enough her own eyes swept across every inch of the hall. Every bit of the hall seemed to be ordinary, in place, and in tack, but something soon changed the very appearance of the hall.
Directly above Wakara's head a small, marble sized piece of paint covered cement fell on top of her head leaving a small trace of debris in her hair. Unanimously, Wakara and Calypso looked up to the ceiling. Above was their problem.
The ceiling, for some God knows what reason, began to crack from weight. Maybe the architecture of this entire Council house designed the housing with poor proper assembly and balance. Wakara looked at Calypso reassuringly that nothing was to happen, and Calypso nodded, but this still didn't explain the humming sounds and the rumbling, which by now increased nearly five times more louder and violent than ever.
"Cal," Wakara spoke fast, holding her hand out to Calypso to stop her from coming towards her. "Please, no one move. I ask of you. Just.. wait.."
[[> >;; Just go along for now, please.]]

Styx saw the new comer and uncoiled himself, landing in his draconic form in front of her, and suddenly transforming into his full humanoid form he said, "Hello, I am Styx...Your the Council member for the Dragons I assume? Well, I am the Champion, so...I supposed we'll be working together." He held out his hand in a sign of welcoming and friendship. He had a kind smile on his face, very different from the massive dragon seen just seconds ago. She was a rather attractive female, in both of her forms, but that was the last thing on Styx's mind at the moment, the first thing, was introducing himself to his leader.
