"Ok." Halima looked into the den. It seemed spacey enough. She wnet in to make just a little more space, digging at the walls, then pushing the dirt out of the entrance. She heard a rustle and the sound of dragged paws, or scales rather. It was a snake. She watched it slither out of a bush. Halima observed it and thought that it was a harmless snake. She tried to be silent, examining it for a good weak spot to kill it. Halima was right behind the snake. She pounced at the snake, digging her claws into its scaley skin so that despite its wriggleing she would still have it in her grasp. The pushed the snake into the ground and bit the snake's head, shattering its skull. It layed still; she had killed it. Halima felt so proud of herself. She dragged the snake toward the den entrance and waited for Ghubari.

Ghubari was walking toward their den, carrying a quite amount of leaves in his mouth. meanwhile, his thoughts were elsewhere. thinking about Halima. When he was getting closer to their den, he reaslized she wasn't around. "Meh, Provabley indsied teh din naow" He said aloud, despite it not being easy to talk with a mouth full of leaves. Although when he first stepped foot in the den's entrance, he heard a slight CRUNCH under his paw. When he looked down, he noticed a snake was under his paw. He screamed of shock and instantly dropped the pile of leaves he had carried in his mouth.

Halima woke up with a start "Wah! whats going on? Whos there?" She rubbed the sleep from her eyes and saw Ghubari. "Oh hi." She yawned and noticed him looking frightingly at the snake. "Oh...don't mind that...got it for us to eat." She grinned.

Halima wondered what she was possibly smiling for, "well, next time, can you keep it some place where others don't end up stepping on it," He said, looking at his paw where he stepped on the snake, shaking it a bit, as if the snake left something on it. "Well, thanks for the snake,but I really don't have a thing for 'ems.." He said, hoping he didn't end up offending her..

"Oh..." Halima walked over to the snake. "Its..ok, i'll just have it." She dragged the snake over to her side of the den. She started to work at the skin but noticed that it was getting a little messy. "I'll go outside." She dragged the snake with her and sat next to the entrance. She was having a hard time with the scales but was able to get at some point where she could get to some....meat? But the inside just seemed to have too many ribs and she didn't want to choke; But she didn't want to waste it. Ghubari didn't want any and now there wasn't really a lot for her to eat without having to continuously watch for bones. Maybe she should wait to see what Ghubari was going to have. Halima sighed; She just wanted to be useful to Ghubari...

As he saw Halima go out of the den to eat her catch, he could have sworn he saw sadness in her eyes..'did I offend her?' he thought in his mind. He began to feel bad for what he said to her. He was thinking in his mind for quite some time now, then he sighed, walked toward Halima, "May I join?"

Halima turned her head torward Ghubari. "Oh. I-its ok." She did a small laugh and turned her gaze to the snake. "I figured the snake didn't have enough meat on it anyway." She looked around to see if any possible prey was around. "What do you have in mind for dinner?" Halima said facing Ghubari.

Feeling releived, he secretly let out a sigh, he wasn't in the mood to feast on snake. He quickly sat with Ghubari, thinking about what food there was to catch around here. He wasn't sure if there was any Gazelle around, or anything else edible to eat, "No clue, got any ideas?" {{Call me stupid, but do they have Hares, or Bunnies here? x.X"" }}

Halima suddenly remebered about the rabbit that she had tried to catch earlier. Maybe there were some hares still around. She crouched and looked torward the bushes. "You wouldn't happen to be in the mood for rabbit...would you?" Halima whispered.

He quickly had some thought about it, and found the hare to taste much nicer than a snake, "He got up and stretched out, "Sure, wanna hunt together, or can you handle it by yourself?" He asked, tilting his head to one side.

"I think...I'll try and handle it myself." She decided that with Ghubari working on the temporary den, that she should try and contribute somemore. And she wanted Ghubari to see that she had some skill, to impress him. To show a lionesses strengths. "Well you go rest or something...I'll probably back soon." She started to stalk around the bushes, looking for any sign or scent of a hare. She heard a rustle; the smell of a small creature, the rabbit. Halima got into position. She tried to pounce at it; missed. The hare leaped out of the bish, jogging at top speed; great. She lost it.

"Oh. Okay" Ghubari said, finding the idea of resting a good idea. He calmly turned around and headed to the inside of the den Halima and he made, and circled around a location he thought would be a nice place to rest, then lied down on his side, feeling exhausted, wondering how Halima was already doing with her hunt.

Halima began to stalk around the place quietly and slowly, hopeing to catch a smell or sound of prey. She sighed. She hadn't found anything for a while. She had no idea where that hare went and all she saw was bushes, trees, and dust; She had looked through some of the plants but found nothing. Maybe a second try wouldn't hurt. She started to stalk torward bushes waiting for a rustle or two and then pounceing, but only to find that the rustle was just the wind blowing the leaves. Halima laid down to think; Ghubari and she needed to find something to eat.

Ghubari tried to get some sleep. He'd toss and turn on any of his sides, his stomach, his back, but no matter how he tried, he couldn't sleep. Hunger kept him from sleeping. "Ugh, this is hopeless. I may as well hunt," He grumbled to himself, Irritated from lack of sleep. He slowly got up and Sauntered through the entrance of the cave. In an instant a Hare darted right past him. He guessed it must not have noticed him. He saw it dash into the bushes. He instantly went into a slow crouch, and sauntered closer towards the bushes, which he beleived the rabbit was in. Little did he know that the Hare scurried away from easlily hearing his footsteps. When he thought he had it just right, he pounced, and ended up landing right on Halima!

Halima got up with a start, or at least tried to. She could feel the weight of another creature on her back. She rolled them off and quickly turned around to face the creature that landed on her back only to find that it was Ghubari. "Ghubari? What are you doing over here; and...are you ok?" Halima looked over Ghubari's features to see if he wasn't hurt.
