I don't really believe they've become anymore deranged or scary... I kind of agree with the just more desperate to keep fans point. I like Dir en Grey, but like a lot of fans, I do like their older stuff a lot more, when it was...new?

I've never seen that PV sweatdrop and probably the time will pass away ... anyways, because of that I don't know if they're scary, silly, or whatever, but for me the song isn't that bad ... I've read before critics, and there is two opinions: 1 is freakin scary or 2 is almost boring ... pfff ... well, if they are trying to keep fans, I would be there whee

i, personally, have no issues with Saku whatsoever... i like the song... i like the pv. Except i think Kyo could afford to lose the false eyelashes... i'm not a fan of them. I still think he looks cool though.
I will always be a fan of dir en grey... no matter how many people try to tell me they suck.

He looks too much like Mana to me with those eyelashes. Other than that, I join the "Damn, Kyo is DEFINATELY out of ideas" party. sweatdrop

That's what Visual Kei is about, though, when you think about it. An image, grotesque and beautiful at the same time. It keeps it interesting. Just like with old glam rock (Bowie), something 'different' that appeals to individuals. Perhaps Kyo is just experimenting?
The Japanese have always been masters in the area of visual arts....

I didn't mind the look of the video, but the action and the song itself was just...too MUCH screaming perhaps? It seemed like they were trying too hard, I was disappointed. O_O *ducks flying tomatoes*

And that's why I don't like VK. Sure old glam rock had a lot of shitty acts, too (Bowie excluded), but that's all VK seems to be! Just a bunch of guys running around in dresses riding on a gimmick to sell, rather than actual talent in making music. Big part of why I hate visual kei for the most part.

That is what Visual Kei is about; hence, the "visual". It for the eyes as well as the ears. Although I agree, a lot of it is eyes only...Xp Kyo is a talented vocalist, but most of the time, that's not enough. You have to have an image, however ridiculous, to sell, or you don't make it. Personally, I get tired of seeing rockers dressed in jeans and tees. I actually like seeing what kind of ideas these guys can dredge up, even if it does seem a farce and a bit dramatic.
