"Then by all means we'll take the safe way up if it can be truly concidered safe," she said, her heart pounding in her ears as she moved toward the stairs, the light making things hiss at her. Instinctively she'd throw out her hand at them but it did no good, it felt as though a thick muck had been placed over her abilities making them hard to conjure. "How far do we have to do before we're out of here? It was stupid of me to wander in here, I'm wondering how long it'll take me to wander out now."

Vizierre silenty crept behind her. He move stiffly as they walk up the stairs. Vizierre was practically hugging the wall he was so close as they passed by the gloomy first incident.
" Lets move a bit more quickly...
Vizierre started to quicken his pace.

"If you hug that wall any tighter you're gonna need a first date," Toni said as she moved over to him to keep him in the light as she held it over her head. Walking as fast as she could to keep up with him she was almost running by the time they got to the top of the stairs. Grabbing his arm as best she could as she was small in comparison to him she stopped him as she looked around cautiously. "How much further do we have to go before we find a window or something to jump out of?"

Vizierre looked around. No windows at all. This place was meant to seal somthing inside of here. Vizierre hopped over to a lit spot. As he did he could hear stones crumbling from beneath him.
... Ok so jumping is also a bad idea..

Toni followed as she held out the light, the feeling of one of her attacks rising in the back of her mind. It was a ways off but if they didn't hurry she'd be in deep trouble. "How high in this place do we have to go before we get out of here? Its not like a normal building, it feels endless," she said as she looked around

" I'm thinking around 50 stories high... Lets see...."
Vizierre quickly snagged a crystal light from the wall and the light between Toni and himself was more vibrant and luminous. Vizierre looked up, Into the tall darkness of the tower. He stared as if he were mesmorized. He was mindless. The darkness from the tower cieling seemed to draw closer as it stretched itself into the infinite. Thousands of Amber eyes began to light up within the dark cloud. Vizierre slowly backed away. His left hand began to glow gold illuminating the area until it was at the point where it was at the point that the room looked as though it was filled with sunlight. Wails of High pitched screaming began to fill the area shreaking loudly, piecreing the ears of both people inside. He hurled the orb into the darkness. Even more screaming until the orb was enveloped inside the darkness and instantly the room became its dark and gloomy self. Vizierre stopped and turned to Toni.
" Did you just see what happened....."

"I don't know what I just saw but it wasn't anything good... I want out of here, this place feels like its eating all the light and good from my soul," she said with a shiver, Traiza's laugh in her ears making the shivering lessen. Moving forward she looked around for the source of the eyes but found none. "That is the wierdest bunch of critters I've ever seen in my life..."

" I believe they are Shadow Fiends... Creatures whos souls are bound in darkness. Immensly terrified of light...
Vizierre stopped to look for some stairs to the next floor when he notice his crystal light went out. Vizierre thought that these lights were possibly the souls of those who died trying to defeat the darkness. The light eminating from the crystal was only enough for one use of a power it seemed. But Vizierre also thought that perhaps in using that power the soul would succumb itself into the darkness of the tower... Increasing the threat it already posseses.
" I will need another one of these lights.."
He turned and saw the only thing look like an exit. A small hole. Some sort of duct of some kind.
" I guess thats out way out... By the looks of it I won't be able to fit through it with my size and all my armor... But you might be able to Toni..."

Toni stared indignately. "You can't be serious! I don't know whats up there and for all I know I'll barely get my head up there and something less scared of the light and more hungry'll tear my head clean off my shoulders and personally I like where it is right now. Can't we try to find another way?" she asked, staring at the hole as strange noises drifted down from the floor above

Vizierre glanced at her back.
That crystal you hold will allow yo to use your power until it dies out. If anything happens break the wall open and let it come to me.
Vizierre tried to remain as calm as he could saying that. Truly however He didn't want to face anything in here. This place seemed more powerful than anything he's ever seen. He looked around for another crystal the whispers increasing and seeming to pass from the hole.
" If I were able to fit into that hole I would go in myself..."
Aww whats the matter Tin head... Can't climb into a little hole. Your just too afraid...
Shut up... He mutterd under his breath

Toni frowned as she stared up at the hole, small scurrying sounds coming from overhead. "Oh fine," she said, gathering her courage before jumping up, with her hand over her head to illuminate the small area. Suddenly the hole grew larger, big enough to allow Vizierre up. Looking down she just laughed, the sound echoing. "Guess who gets to follow me up," she said, holding the light up so he could see

Its wasn't before long Vizierre found another light crystal although it was the only one in the room. As he took it He heard Toni telling him to follow her up. He walked over to the hole which was now large enough for him to fit through. He turned around briefly only to see the room becoming almost pitch black. Echoing laughter began to fill the room and amber eyes formed into the darkness. The darkness becoming blacker and getting closer and closer.
" s**t!!! "
Vizierre turned and bolted up the hole forcing Toni out prematurley as the bursted out into the next floor.

"Well, this is homey," she said sarcastically. It was like a house with only one floor that hadn't been touched in a lifetime. "I gotta say this is creepier than the rest of the tower," she said as she inched closer to Vizierre nervously. "Where's the next way up, I want out of here," she said

Once Vizierre Got up though He had no response instead he Quickly grabbed Toni and practically dragged her away from the hole And dove into the circle of light. The three crystals illuminating the area bright than the one.

"Ya know? I'm feeling like a rag doll right about now, if you're going to drag me around at least look like ur putting a little effort into lifting me," she said, feeling small and almost child-like next to the nearly giant man
