Another idea that has reached me is the concept of a 'special ability'. This is a power that a character has, sort of like an innate power. Of course, all nust go throught he council and must have a positive and negative.

Master, I have come to petition that we have to have 300 posts just before we learn 1 skill!

I say that we should each have a certain medicholrian count. It could be choosen by randomizer.org nad it could give or take away an adavantage in battle. And certain species should get an extra boost such as a Mon Calmari or a decrese such as Hutts you dont have any force powers they should have a slight disavange to a species that has a high Force sensativity. It could also depend on what specail move you might have.

Thats why say a Hutt could only get a: 7000-7500 medi count. And a Mon Calamari could get a 7500-10,000. And the person's Master would do the Randomizer thing and then give that number to their youngling. That work?

At this time, I will have to say no and the reason being is that both of these have the skill alter, which is a skill learned as a Knight and these powers are usually only granted when you reach the rank of master. I will definitely consider this request though, as soon as you have completed your Alter training.

Danger Sense is granted. Control weather (when it is put up) is another power that requires alter and prerequisites such as weather sense. May I suggest weather sense at this time? Of course, you can choose something else if you wish.

I will take weather sense. I will inform my master of these 2 powers I am to learn immediately.

i'd like to ask to start training for a specific position within the guild, slightly seperated from the basic, everyday knight or master. of course, i would have to train to this position MYSELF, but I feel i would be well suited to start training to become the guild's weaponsmaster. with that, i'd like to petition for a few skills(referring to a skill as a non-force ability, something we apparantly have none of as of right now.) those skills are the following:
Improvised weapon
Melee Combat
weapon focus: short sword
weapon focus: longsword
weapon focus: blunt
weapon focus: ranged
Dual bladed combat
Disarm
craft weapon
craft item

of course, i would get the standard points you assign in each of these areas through training either by myself(teaching myself the skill with you assigning points) or by studying from somebody who can teach me the basics of these. my main idea here is to have more than just one way to fight within the guild. maybe somebody wants to duke it out in a fistfight, or maybe the lightsaber just isn't the weapon for you. maybe you'd rather bludgeon somebody's brains out with a club, or snipe them out with a good ol fassioned ranged weapon. the craft weapon skill would be one used to aid in creating a unique weapon for a youngling, if they had specific requests for their weapon beyond just the basic lightsaber, as well as raising the quality of the weapon made slowly. the craft item skill(only one that doesn't deal with weapons) is basically my gateway to tinker with new ideas for things to be used, as well as to create items to aid handicapped players. (sonar eyes for a blind man or a better robotic limb to replace a lost one.) any new invention within these skills would, of course, be approved by the council before implimented(or at least approved via PM by suki). thank you for listening to all of this. ::maugrim, one considered a youngling only by rank, would bow, not yet leaving the room. he would wait on suki to either grant his permission to begin training in all of these exess skills or laugh in his face. he didn't care how she reacted, long as it wasn't disrespectful. he had gotten his fill of disrespect and anger towards the higherups in their socieity recently::
