Fav CV game: Symphony of the Night, hands down. Followed closely by Harmony of Dissonance
Fav CV character: Alucard. He's a beautiful character (inside and out) and I absolutely adore him. Also, Lydie, as she was the first character in the game I connected with so well. There are others as well...Mathias, Elisabetha, Joachim, Soma, Lisa...I even liked Walter considerably, though Mathias pwns him >:F
Fav CV boss: The Succubus (Lament of Innocence, not Symphony of the Night. Posing as Lisa was just too low to be forgiven) >>;;...but in terms of not-scantily-clad-women? Umm, possibly the Orlox in Symphony...? I can't really choose. I liked them all to some degree. Except the freaking Twin Dragons in Circle of the Moon. Screw that thing.
Fav CV enemy: Alura Une/Venus Weed ><;; she's so asdfghjk. If I wasn't a lesbian before I started playing this game, I am now XD
Fav CV Weapon: Icebrand, Ice whip, Claimnh Solais, Alucard sword/shield, Sword of Dawn...there are so many.
Fav CV music track: Lost Painting...Tragic Prince was amazing too...Prelude to the Dark Abyss, the Ghostly Theatre and The House of Sacred Remains are gorgeous too.
What I like most about CV: The characters, storylines and the perfect mix of darkness and elegance.

*^^* Thank you~! I'm sure I'll love it here *__* actual discussion about Castlevania? You just *try* to keep me out of it XD I could ramble for hours.
I'm actually in the process of working on a new topic to see what everybody's thoughts are on something I've been thinking a lot about lately; if we had a say in the next game. So I hope that thread does well ^^

Hmm, there are many interesting posts here.
Hi everyone! I searched for a CV guild and I'm glad I found one. Not only that but, I'm mostly glad about getting accepted. I wana start an interesting thread here and I hope most of you like the concept cuz I wana see lots of posts there. Anyways, let's get on with what I'm supposed to post here.
Name: HypnoCrown (real name: Fernando but you can call me Fernand or Hypno)

Area: Guatemala (and damn proud of it!)
Fav CV game: Castlevania II: Simon's Quest (Why this game you ask? Let's not forget this was the first SOTN like CV of all time. I would love to see another Belmont in a game like this. It would also be great if you could choose other characters in the game at the beggining like, Alucard for example), followed by SOTN, and then Aria of Sorrow in 3rd cuz it's just like it only with a non-Belmont character. I guess I should put a special mention to CV 3 cuz it's one of those for the NES I can't forget.
Fav CV character: Gee, don't make me choose cuz all of these are just great to me: Trevor, Alucard & Sypha. Hmm, you could say they're all from the same game huh?
Fav CV boss: I have a few so let's start the list with Death, then I would have to say Succubus cuz I loved it on SOTN, the actress voice was great. Then I would have to choose Olrox cuz the transformation was kinda creepy.
Fav CV enemy: Hmm, I don't know exactly. There isn't one that I always look forward to do battle with every time I get a new CV but, if I had to choose then I guess it would probably have to be the zombie cuz it's in every CV game I can think of.
Fav CV Weapon: I have to say that my favorite one so far is the Muramasa. Not only it starts out like crap so you think it's worthless but, if you take the time to strenghten it, it can become a very powerful weapon. Although in Aria of sorrow you can find one of those, I'm not sure if it's the same as the one you can find in SOTN.
Fav CV music track: I would have to say it's definitely the one called "Vampire Killer". This one has been in most of the NES games and it even got a brief cameo on LOI (I think).
What I like most about CV: What's not to like? But what I dig the most is the battling against the dark forces and Dracula himself. It's just something that I can't possible accomplish doing in real life, even if Dracula was real, I doubt very much I could beat him as well as a Belmont can.
I would also like to tell you that I am a writer and I am thinking about doing a CV fic. Would you guys like to see it posted here in the forum?

What I like about CV etc: It's fun XD and easy to get into once you're a Castlevania fan.

Speaking of the song Malus plays at the beggining of Castlevania 64, I was considering paying this dude in the subway (some people in subways play instruments and you leave them tips) to play that song. He was playing a violin but I did not have the sheet music to give him gonk Has anyone tried to play any castlevania song on an instrument? o.O
