At his compliment, she looked away and blushed slightly. "Thank you. I-I have gotten slightly better. I mean, I remember the notes by heart and don't hit any sour notes... well, except when something distracts or interrupts me." She told him, shifting slightly as she prepares to get ready to climb down.

Keme blushes in embarassment and guilt, she knew he was talking about him cause he interrupted her, "Opps...sorry about that..." he says sheepishly, leaning off the tree and scratching the back of his head.

She looked back at him questioningly, blinking. "Sorry about what?" She asked as she moved to stand onto the branch. She placed a hand on it, once again checking the creaking noises as she slowly brought a leg up.

Keme starts moving so he can start descending from the tree as well, "I disturbed you earlier and that made you mess up. I'm sorry about that." he says softly, looking for a lower branch he can hop onto to make his way out of the tree.

"Oh... that was alright really. Nothing too bad." Charlamagne replied, watching him for a moment. She then looked down and began to wish she didn't climb so high. She couldn't help it though, she liked climbing trees, it was fun... well, except for angry ants sometimes. After getting one leg up, she slowly pulled the other up. Seeing no problems happen, she slowly lifted herself to her feet.
It was when she fully stood up when it happened without warning. The branch snapped and with a squeak, she fell through the trees. Not being able to catch herself from the initial fall, the small audio tried to turn herself to catch onto a branch on the way down. Unfortunately, she crashed, back first into a branch below her, letting out a grunt as she bounced off. She fell a bit more before somehow latching onto a branch, dangling a mere few feet from the ground. Though she was aware that she could simply let go and she would be on the ground, the pain coursing through her back and body would not allow it, her hand grasped in pain around the branch.

"CHARLAMAGNE!!!" Keme yells for her in fear as he watchs her plummet. He makes a lunge for her to grab her, but he is too late. He immediately starts making his way down, ignoring the scraps and splinters he gets on his hands. Landing hard on the ground, some pain jarring in his legs, he rushes to her, opening his arms up and gently putting one arm underneath her knees and the other reaching around her shoulders, "It's ok Charl, I got you now, you can let go." he says, his voice quivering.

She continued to hang there, even after Keme had gotten to the ground. It felt like someone had just swung a sledgehammer into her back... it pounding didn't help anything. She looked behind her when Keme took a hold of her, looking back to her hand. Slowly, with a wince, she managed to pry her fingers from around the branch and fell back into the other's arms.

Keme gently cradles Charl's small body in his arms, ignoring the pain and the blood coming from his hands. He looks about, he had to take her somewhere to see if she broke anything. He couldn't help but feel this was his fault, he should have gotten her off that branch the moment he heard the noise coming from it. Maybe Moochi's house? But he wasn't sure there was anyone there that could heal her? The shop?

Charl winced and squirmed slightly in his arms, trying her best to ignore the pain. Her fluffy tail curled around her almost in instinct. Closing her eyes, she let out a small pathetic mew. She didn't care where she went to, all she wanted is the pain to stop... she didn't even care if her back was broken at the moment.

Keme looks down at Charl in his arms and he finally decides to head to the shop. But he makes sure he goes slow, he knows any type of jarring would probably make the pain worse for her, "Don't worry Charl, I'm gonna find someone to help you. I'm so sorry..." he whispers the last part to himself really.

Charl slowly stopped squirming as she slowly drifted off to sleep, the pain having just calmed. It wasn't completely gone, the throbbing and burning was still there, but it had settled enough so she could get comfortable. At his words, she simply just mewed, turning and resting her head on his shoulder.

Keme slowly made his way to the shop, making sure he never jarred Charl. He finally noticed the stinging sensation in both of his hands, but he decided to ignore them both for now, Charl was more important. He spots the shop up ahead and hopes he can find someone who will help her.

Kaleb sat half curled up on a couch near the kitchen, with a large textbook in his lap as usual. He hadn't seen another soul all day, and the monotony would have been dull if he wasn't so fascinated with his study material. Despite his interest, he found himself yawning a bit.

Charl remained still in Keme's arms, except for the random bouts of winces and cringes from sudden sears of pain. Her tail flickered lightly, but remained wrapped around her body. She never realized how fragile she was... she guesses this teaches her for going up so high.

Keme pushes the door open with his shoulder, looking about, "Hello? Is anyone here?! I need help!!!" he calls loudly, walking inside. As he walks into the living area, he spots Kaleb and he lets out a breath of relief as he approachs the smaller Audio male, "Kaleb, thank God you're here! I really need your help, Charl, she fell out of a tree, her back hit a branch and she is hurt!! Please, I'll do anything Kaleb!" the green Audio pleads, just wanting Charl to be alright again.
