"Who the hell's the old guy?" I muttered, probably some old coot who was recommended to give out the stuff...and he was still getting his assisstant to do it. Idiots.
I headed up to the assistant and took the clothes, "Thanks." I said and clenched my empty hand in excitement. I had finally achieved it, I was worthy of becoming a Shinigami at last. I looked at Mitsuoki, he'd come an amazingly long way in a short space of time. Poor kid, he must have felt real tired from the ordeal he faced on the last battle. I walked over to him, "You're up next Mitsuo" I said giving him a pet name, though I had to admit it sounded cooler than just ken.

I headed up quietly, bowed, took my clothing, and headed back quickly. I didn't want to be in the spot ight too long, I had no idea what it meant to be a Shinigami that much...just the basics from what Kai had taught me such as Konsoh and the rest of it.

Bukotsu then noticed that he was next.
"I guess it's time to graduate," Bukotsu smirked as she pulled Okuni to lead her to the line. Letting go gently, he had opened out and accepted his hakama, yukata, and his tabard, mantle and sash. His sliver hair moved out of the way as she leaned forward to perform a bow.
Bowing to Genryuusai slightly he walked back out and down to where he had stood with Okuni before.

Rednal took his new uniform without complaint or comment. He was focused on making sure his wounds from his final were healed. That and pondering his blade, his precious Ein Sou. He was not so wrapped up in his thoughts, however, that he missed the old man's power. Rednal had no illusions; the old man could defeat him in an instant.

His eyes went to the aged man, looking upon the Commander Sereiti's sturdy frame. Ugu looked, then, with his own eyes to the careful and sharp eyes of the speaking leader. Ugu smiled, then, as every student was called upon to go up to the assistants to receive their shinigami clothing.
The shinigami followed the small crowd, towering over all of them with his massive 7'1 frame. Eventually, after several students received their clothing, he received his. The tall soul reaper stood tall, folding the garments on his massive right shoulder.
But, however, after doing that, he moved back to the edge of the room. He stood at the wall, staring over at Gen. Yamamoto--waiting for his dismissal from the assembly.

After all students had finally received their shinigami clothing Yamamoto made yet another announcement. "For today on all of you will be members of my squad, however...I have also decided that we need some sort of ranking besides the captain and vice captain, is for this reason that tomorrow we will hold a small tournament in front of the first squad HQ. Everyone will show all their skills in front of me and the my assistance, the tournament will work similar to the one humans held in the mortal world, everyone will fight in matches of one vs one until only one of the two is either knockout or decides to surrender, however killing your opponent is not acceptable. You will receive a ranking depending on your performance so be sure to rest your bodies well. For now you are free to do as you wish, celebrate and rest...balance is the key...Any questions ?" Yamamoto ended his speech quickly however, a tall man along the group truly attracted his attention, he seems to be a loner and was also over sized. Size sometimes meant strength, whatever this was truth or not, Yamamoto was going to find out the next morning.

A tournament? I suppose that will give me the chance to observe my fellow Shinigami, and come to learn their abilities. If nothing else, it will allow me to measure where I stack up among them. Kyuzo contemplated, giving the area another look, in the attempt to get an idea of the major threats in such a contest. That tall guy seems to have caught the eye of Yamamoto-Sotaicho himself, so he'll be one to beat ... and that other guy seems to be giving direction to a couple of the other graduates; could be a senpai to them.

Okuni was startled when Bukotsu pulled her up with him, and was a little of the last one to accept her clothes as she walked back to Bukotsu. Unfortunetly she blanked off, and totally stood where she was.
But upon hearing the news, a smile crept across her face.
"A tournament eh?" Okuni smiled as she elbowed Bukotsu lightly at his side.
"This will be interesting...Bukotsu, do you think you'll be ready to take the challenge?" She smiled knowing this meant she might have made the message that Bukotsu was going to be worked.

"Eh??" sweatdrop sweatdrop sweatdrop Bukotsu said as he turned his head. A tournement to proceed tomorrow.
"What was that suposed to mean?" Bukotsu asked Okuni as he rolled his eyes seeing as how she elbowed him. He only turned to see that Ugu had towered over the other students. Most likely, Ugu was the type to use his brains, power and strength to his advantage.
Bukotsu himself though was unsure about how he would approach tomorrow. He wasn't as built as others, but he could handle B and C ranked hollows alright. Was he really the kind of person whom would be knocked out in the first match-up?
This circled as he approached the door while with Okuni.

"A tournament," I said looking at the other two. I had no desire to rise up in the rankings of the first squad but nevertheless we were all ordered to compete.
"Mitsuoki, Amaya, Kenji, if you are to fight me in the tournament, come at me with all you have," I said firmly, "You may return to your dorms." With that I turned and walked away with my uniform.

Rednal quietly watched the others for a long moment, then turned and walked out of the area. As usual, he had completely and utterly failed to make an impression on anybody... not that he had expected any different. Who he was, what he could do, all of his abilities made him someone to be overlooked in favor of those who stuck out in some way. Had he cared much, Rednal might have sighed. As it was, he watched the hilt of his blade for a moment as he strode along the pathways towards his destination.
As for the issue of the tournament, Rednal tackled that the same way he tackled every problem. He would go with the flow.

Okuni couldn't help but give alittle giggle as the pair left.
"It means, I am gonna have to make you work out," Nishiharu smiled as she leaned towards Bukotsu knocking him over abit. Her attitude seemed more calm and unfaultered, unlike what Bukotsu was thinking of, she was thinking of only becoming a healer. She too was strong though, and her amazing mental capabilities would help her out in tomorrow's matches.

"There's only three of us, Kenji," I looked up and looked at him, "It'll be difficult to decide on any particular training...but it's up to you now." I bowed gently Sensei would most likely be training by himself and was going to leave us to train on our own to suprise him at least...that's what I thought his plan would be.

"Training? Man I'm useless at this kinda stuff," I said. I didn't like being second in command at all, Amaya was more suited to the post that I was, "Fine. Lets go to the Rukongai forest, I wanna see what I'll be up against in the fights." With that he turned and virtually disappeared in a simple Shunpo stepit'd been natural to them since getting to the top of the tower, and then into the caves, since the pressure of where they were everything just seemed lighter and thus Shunpo was incurred, though only Sensei noticed.

"Hai," I bowed, everything had changed since I came here, my entire life was different thanks to my new friends. I switched into my Shinigami uniform and took off after Kenji.
