Casai grinned at her sister, batting at her flakes playfully. "I missed you, Nessie! Where were you and Father? Mother was sad... she thought something happened to you... she didn't let me see, but I know she was crying, 'specially after Shairi left..."
Kichea sighed. "Akin, dearest, perhaps you should give him a second chance... Shairi's already gone... she told me to tell you she'd return and make things right, but she's been gone many suns now."

She looked to Casai, "we went out for a walk and into the rainforest lands...kind of a storm hit and lasted forever it seemed...it let up and then we came back," she said cheerfully. "Where is Shairi?" she asked curiously wondering where she went.
"Thats is my point, she hasn't come back. He obviously isn't a good influence if she hasn't come back to set things straight. Were going to his pride and getting her back," a rage was in his eyes he was content thinking that Shairi was happy nor that he was good for her.

"Shairi went away to that male's pride. She said to mother that they were having kits. So Shairi's a mommy too now!" Casai didn't fully understand what was going on, but if Shairi was happy, it was good enough for her.
Kichea sighed. "Must we? Things must be pressing in a new pride... she's probably still trying to fit in... perhaps we can wait a little longer?" Shairi was supposed to come back, if she said she would, when she got a chance she would. Kichea knew that, and it bothered her that she was going to barge in on her daughter's life. If Shairi was still a cub, she wouldn't have a problem with it, but Shairi was a full grown lioness. She could choose for herself.

"She's a mommy?" she asked wide eyed, "I wish I coulda seen 'em." she replied sadly. "So how have you been?" she had talked about everyone else but her. Her ears perked up interestingly.
He looked into her eyes, Kichea his love. "Alright," his silver frame to her, "I shall give her more time..." he knew that Kichea understood that he was extremely upset with her descion. "How have you been fairing?" he asked rubbing his cheek to hers.

Casai shrugged. How had she been? She'd been alright. "I'm alright. Mother's kept me very close since Shairi and you and Daddy left." Close was an understatement. She hadn't even been able to pounce a cricket without her mother knowing about it. "I think she was just scared she'd lose me too..."
Kichea sighed. "I've been... I've been better... but Essence has returned..." Kichea grinned, "With a female..." She motioned to the two, standing not too far away from where the cubs were playing.

Aislinn watched from a distance as the reunions took place, very much an outsider looking in. It was good for them; but she stole a glance at Essence, ears twitching uncertainly. How was he handling all this?

Kichea nodded to the two lions, one of them being her son. "Perhaps we should go talk to them... it seems essence wishes to talk to you about something you mentioned to him...?"

Akin tilted his head curiously, "It seems I haven't seen him in ages as well." He replied, and nodded his, "Indeed we shall." He padded to Essence and Aislinn wondering what was going on. His silver frame looked to the both. "'Evening to both of you." he replied...he was already tired from his journey and the news seemed to wear him down even more.

having set out from Adrastos' pride days ago, being joined by her first son, Afu along the way, Shairi tentatively made her way home. She was born here, and thus, didn't feel the need to announce herself or her kin. She looked to Afu, glad that she he had come along with her. To her, her son was more than just her child. Her sons were her friends.

Akin's framed turned as a scent came to him, that was ironic...he thought. He called out wondering if it was truly his one of his elder daughters. His orbs glanced out to where he had scented it. She came with another again, however it wasn't that wretched male from the first time...but it was a male. It made him edgy, and then started to wonder why he didn't announce himself.

Shairi smiled as she padded to her father's side. "Hello father..." She walked over and nuzzled her mother. "Mother, I've missed you so..."
Kichea smiled knowingly at Akin over her daughter's shoulder as if to say 'I told you so'. "And I you, Shairi... who have you brought with you?"
Shairi pulled away from her own mother, and went back to her son, licking a peice of his white mane. "Mother, Father, this is one of my sons. One of your grandchildren. This is Afu." Afu wasn't sure what to do. They were his mother's parents. He smiled lightly, hoping it was the best way to react. "Hello."

Akin looked to Afu, he couldn't disrespect family and hoped some of his genes had gotten into the kid so he wasn't like his father. A slight huff, came out thinking of Adrastos. He noticed that Shairi didn't seem thrilled to see him more of Kichea which was understandable he wondered if she was still mad at him. He smiled slightly to Afu whom was fully grown and as bout as big as her. "Hello," Akin replied to his grandson. "Welcome to my lands," he replied....he was awfully formal today. He looked to Shairi, "Where is the other?" he questioned...Shairi had come home to stay. He didn't mind what her sons did but they were welcome, "You said one of your sons?"

Shairi smiled, knowing her father would have noticed that. "Achilles, the other, is with his mate. He is back at Adrastos' pride with her." She smiled. "Aelita is a nice young girl... I didn't want to seperate the two when they had come to us asking for permission to leave. So I let them stay, and Afu accompanied me instead."
Afu grinned, thinking of his brother. "They'll be there when we go back." He said, unaware of the situation.

"Going back?" Akin raised his brow as his features hardened and tone went gruff. Nass had just peered over to Shairi and her father when he seemed to get hasty. She could tell things were about to get bad. She looked to Afu, her nephew whom was older than she. She smiled unknowing who it was.

Casai grinned. "Shairi's back!" She whispered excitedly to Nass, before eyeing the large male. "Whoozat?" She asked Nass, as if she would know.
Shairi cast Afu a hasty look before turning her gaze to her father. "Daddy... Adrastos and I have two lovely sons, and a love that we both share... Daddy, Mother, He's asked me to be his queen..." She said almost ashamed. She should be happy, proud, and yet, here she was neither.
Afu's eyes widened. "Father asked you to be his queen? Is that why you came back?" Afu asked, forgetting that his mother's parents were there.
Shairi nodded to her son before replying while looking into her father's eyes. "Yes. I wished to make things right between us before I accepted."
Kichea smiled proudly as her daughter announced that she had been asked to be queen. It seemed she raised her children well. Her crimson eyes glanced from Shairi to her Son, Essence, where she smiled. Was Essence also here to make things right?
