Lakeisha looked to the cub, she hadn't seen him before. Lakeisha hushed her Raja and listened to the cub he was very intelligent for his age, she sat upon her haunches listening intuitivly. Her ears flickered softly as her orbs glanced from side to side.

"Thank you." Reid grinned and gave the little lion a nuzzle with a nod. "Exactly what I was thinking. Ah, Desero, this confused colored lioness right here is my sister, Lakeisha. Lakeisha, this is Desero, the cub that I am going to take in as my own and raise. He never knew any parents like us. And he's smart. I didn't think you'd have any problems with this..." It wasn't a question, but a good leader at least makes everyone think they have a say in all things.

"Not a problem at all," she replied smiling to the cub softly. "Pleasure to meet you Desero," she nodded slightly. She hushed Raja again as she had predicted she would make a comment about Reid taking in a cub. "This is Raja, Desero." The mouse's tail flickered whispiring a slight hello.

Looking around Reid and took notice of Lakeisha. Almost immediatly he bow his head to her and apologised. "Forgive me for being rude. I should have acknowledge you earlier ma'am." Raising his head he also bowed to the mouse who was clearly older than he. "I also give my most sincerest apologies sir."

Raja looked to the cub wide eyed, as Lakeisha fell to the ground laughing. She blushed furiously and flickered her tail managing to getting to safe ground from the hysteric female. "Laugh it up furball." she huffed and sat down by a nearby tree to rest in the shade.
After Lakeisha had recovered from her laughing fit of Raja being called a male. "Please call me Lakeisha," she replied with a brightened smile. She almost felt sorry for the cubs small error but it had been rather delightful.

'Doubt! You dunce, you just called a female a male!' Quickly bowing his head, Desero made sure to aplogize. "I am so sorry...I didn't realize that...I shouldn't have presumed you male without makeing sure. Forgive me ma'am...please. I had no intentions of insulting you."

Feeling thoroughly embarassed, the first impulse Desero had was to make himself scarse and so thats exactly what he did but he was sure not to be rude about it. "Well...I'd like to explore my new home a bit more so if you'll excuse me I'll be on my way." With that Desero took off in a direction opposite of the three as fast as his little legs could carry him.

Now that he was alone, he slowed his running pace into a steady walk. His ears twitched lightly with every foreign sound that made itself known. However his eyes, those crimson orbs took in the scenery. Every inch, every people, evry blade of grass he took in. This was his home now, and memorizing all that was in it was theraputic for him. It was if it was a ritual for him and if he did not preform it, he felt uncomfortable. Desero felt as if this wasn't the first time that he's done this but there was no use in trying to remember for those memories constantly kept there distance. Sighing, he clumbed atop a large flat rock and lay on it.

Before the cub had taken off, Reid had given a little chuckle and whispered down to him, "No worries, she does have some manly features..." Then when Desero wanted to go on and explore he gave a little premitting nod of the head then turned back to his sister. "You want to go fishing? I'm not going to make you go off hunting by yourself, especially when there's only three of us."

"Sure," she replied happily. Her orbs looked to him, and then to the water source. She loved fishing and was also excelled at it so she would enjoy it. She had always been a good hunter and enjoyed doing so which is why she fit the part to be the hunt mistress.

Reid smiled and walked towards the river, once he got to it he stepped in slowly, trying not to roust the riverbed under his paws and give notice to his presence.
"Come on, slow poke." He whispered once he got into a favorable position, on three paws almost all of the way submerged accept for one paw in the air.

Lakeisha jumped in, scary a few fish and thus splashing Reid. "Whatever," she replied grinning, ears perked to him as her frame and focus turned to the water intensly. She waited, the waters went back to normal. A few silvery fish passed her but they were not of worthy to her...and then she saw a great..big juicy one. She let it get used to her and then she went for the kill. Her mouth, angled just right as she dunk her head under and grabbed it...it thrashed widly as it slowly gasped for air. She walked out proudly her face wet and still with a wide eyed grin.

Reid growled a little, disguised as an exhale at his sister's antics. Completly scared away the fish he was about to catch... But, Reid figured he didn't mind the extra time in the river and waited. As his sister dunked her head into the water he was at the right position to catch a fish of his own. However, instead of dunking his head in and messing up his mane he struck the fish with his claws unshiethed and pinned the dead fish against a rock. Then he proudly dipped his head in and picked up the huge fish and carried it ashore. After spitting it out he grinned. "Wow.. Nice one.. Mine's bigger though."

Lakeisha looked at it and then replied, "Your right," and with that she bit off the dead fish's head and grinned, fish head's were actually her favorite part. She ate it with delight and then compared..."Mine's bigger." She padded back out into the waves and then did the same approach as the last time.

A soft sigh left the cub as his eyes closed for a brief moment before they shot back open. An image had flashed before his minds eye. It was fast but still horric just the same. Desero had looked around in an alarmed fashion but he soon calmed. Instead of keeping his distance he should be bonding with his new family. Reid didn't have to take him in but he did and it was high time that he showed how grateful he was.
Jumping off the large rock he trotted his way back over to where Reid and his sister had been before he left. When he didn't see them there he went over to the water hole and sure enough they were there fishing for a meal. A light smile formed on his muzzle before he made his way over to the water hole however he made sure to be careful not to scare off the fish when he entered the water and moved closer to Reid. His movements were slow and when he brought her left front paw down he felt his claws seink into something causeing it to wriggle.
When he looked down he noticed a nice size fish within his grasp but he was too afraid to move in fear he might loose his catch. "Uh....what am I supposed to do?"
