Yumi rolled her eyes over to the side and watched Oran carefully. "Heh, I suppose you have a point about the, 'Can't see, won't work' thing."
Her tail swished to and fro in a perpetual motion, "Thanks Oran!" It made her happy to know that she could meet other nice Eponas in the forest...even in a very cold, very lonely season.

Yumi had turned a bit and she had said something, but at this angle he couldn't tell what it was. He decided that a noncommittal grunt was the safest way to go. He stepped back and grinned at her. "There. Done."
He sighed softly, reaching up to run a paw over his head and ears. His ears tended to ache whenever they got to cold, they hadn't ached this, from the inside, before "that" had happened. With a final shake of his head to try and rid himself of the pain he refocused on Yumi.

Yumi smiled at oran happily, "Thanks...again!" She let out a little yawn, looked about in a dazed way and then shook her head. Laughing nervously, she said, "Eh, cold weather always makes me sleepy. I don't blame the bears for being lazy and going into...hib...ber...nation."
She noticed Oran run his paw over his ears, "Are your ears cold?"

It wasn't possible for him to stop the grin that flickered over his face, her sleepiness in the cold was amusing, usually you got sleepy when you warm. "But you don't like caves, you couldn't be a bear." His tail curled around his back legs in an attempt to keep them warm, it really was cold out. If he wasn’t careful his toes might get to the point where they were TOO cold.
His paw abruptly stopped it's motion, dropping back down to the ground. "No. Not cold." It had been an unconscious gesture; he really hoped she wouldn't press it too far.
A sudden memory came back to him and he blinked at her a bit worriedly. He remembered that when you started to freeze to death you got very very sleepy and that if was very important to keep yourself awake. "H-how cold are you really?!" His words caught and slurred in his panic. This was an awful memory for him, one that he had hoped to block out forever.

Yumi laughed softly, "Yes. I'd hate to be a bear also. They're so...big and bulky and fat and...ew. I wonder how they catch prey, it kinda looks like they just stumble around."
She gave him a wierd look, but she decided not to question whether what he said was the truth or not, "Oh. I just thought your ears might've been cold since you were rubbing them. Oh well, my bad!" She gave him a happy little grin.
She blinked back a look of confusion as he asked her a rather awkward question. Why is he slurring? She deicded to push that question to the bakc of her mind and shrugged, her eyelids drooping once more, "Oh, I dunno. I don't feel all to cold. Maybe I got used to," She let out a little yawn, "Excuse me. Uh...Maybe I got used to it or somethin'." She then snorted, "Or maybe I'm just numb. Oh well, doesn't matter really. Why do you ask?"

Oran studied her carefully "Is possible to get too cold" Embarrassed at his outburst he rubbed at his nose with his paw "You should... get warm soon." He frowned a little as he felt the tip of his tail begin to go numb. "As should I" His tail curled and uncurled around his back legs.
He smiled as his brain remembered her saying something about a bear. "Quite fast actually. Don't anger one... or try to get close to a mother's cub." He shuddered slightly, that had been one mishap that had happened just after he lost his hearing. He had accidentally stumbled over a baby bear lying in the snow. Being deaf he had not heard it's cries. The mama bear had NOT been happy... to say the least.

Yumi laughed, "Yeah, I guess you're right." She shook her head because her ears were feeling a tad tingly.
She gave him a funny look, "Oh my, sounds...scary." Yumi had never had a real encounter with a bear, although she had seen a few cubs rolling about while their mama had been fishing. That time, Yumi had decided to just walk the other way. "Ah, well, I must be going...before I end up freezing out here. It was nice meeting you."
