Raven's expression was suddenly horrific. Flying? She didn't think she could do it.
"F... fly?" she asked quietly, twisting the fabric of her dress. "C-can't we just... um, climb down on sowme sheets?"

"It's too far down for that!" Alex murmured, slightly taken back by her response.
"You CAN fly, right...?"

Raven's cheeks turned an insanely bright red, and she looked away. "I... uhm... no, I cawn't," she finished lamely.
"Y-you go out the window, an'.. I'll meet you downstaiows!"

"Thewyr's guards everywhere! Youw'd never make it out!" Alex extended a hand to her, smiling gently. "I'll help you through everything, don't you worry! We're going to make it out of here together!"

Gulping, Raven grasped the offered hand and managed to return a very small smile. "'Kay," she said softly.
Raven coughed a bit, clearing her throat, and ducked her head to the side.
"BWAHAHA..," wheeze, "D'Evil Mowse King has come to claiym d'flutterboo pwincess's wingses! Nobody can save her now!"
Raven shot a silly grin at Alexander.

"Oh noo!!" Alex whispered with utmost urgency, taking his role to a whole new level of seriousness. "Come on, Pwincess. We gotta get out of here quick!"
He continued to clutch her hand tightly as he led her down the stage, toward a single 'window', which in reality, was nothing more than a tall box. But for the time being, it was the obstacle they had to successfully jump off of to land safely on the ground below. The surface of the box was to serve as a windowsill of sorts.
"Okay, think you're ready?" He said hastily, acting both in and out of his role.

Raven reminded herself sternly that it was her sworn duty to jump off of that box and fulfill her role as the flutterboo pwincess.
She still managed to feel nervous about the whole thing, though. Having another nasty arm accident was not something she particularly wanted.
"O-okay... I'm weady," Raven said with as much confidence she could gather.
She clambered onto the box, unpinning her feathers from their confined positions on her dress. After smoothing them out, Raven nodded once at Alexander, preparing to jump.
"On thwee?"

He scrambled on top of the box, as well, and braced himself. "I'll go down first, and catch you if you DO fawl! Okay?"

"But... innit it kinda dangewous?" Raven questioned, worried.
She quickly spun away from him and performed the Evil Mouse King's voice.
"BRAWWGH! WHERE IS D'PWINCESS?!"
Raven coughed a bit, voice getting a bit hoarse, before nodding at Alexander. "Okay, you go fiwst."

"Okay." Alex nodded, took a deep breath, and jumped off of the box. He hovered in the air for a few moments, his wings beating at a hardly visible pace, and eventually landed only slightly clumsily on the ground below.
He turned back, looking up in Raven's direction. He held out his arms, welcoming her if she did indeed have a far from graceful fall.
"Hurry! Thew're is not a lot of time left!!"

Raven prepared herself. She took a deep breath, stretched out her arms, and bounced on the balls of her feet a few times before she felt ready.
N'kay, on three, she told herself. One...
A pot, somehow placed rather badly off-stage, fell to the ground and scared Raven out of her wits. A step faltered, and she realized she was about to fall.
"I'm coming down~!"
Raven flapped her arms as fast as she possibly could-- the box toppled over -- she was falling -- Alex's arms looked... farther away...
It worked! She was flying!

"Keep going, Waven!!" Alex cheered her on, by now speaking completely out of character. "Youw're really doing it! You're flying!!"
He kept his arms out, still, however. Just in case.

Raven felt like swooping down and snagging one of those gummi worms next to the Mommas-- but she realized she couldn't maneuver very well, and her arms were tiring... keeping up this flapping was difficult...
The Eden's arms gave out about two feet above Alexander, and she flopped straight into his outstretched arms.
Quickly remembering about the Evil Mouse King, Raven took another deep breath. She squashed down the giggles that threatened to completely ruin her act.
"OH NOES! The Flutterboo Pwincess has eskaped! BRAAWWGH!!"

"You made it! Gweat job!" Alex cheered, gently setting Raven down, a big grin on his face. "See! I knew you could do it!"
He cleared his throat, trying to look stern. "Um...we should get going to back to the flutterboo kingdom, now! He might chase after us!" He peered around, pointing to the far end of the stage. "It's not SO far, I'm sure we could make it there if we ran!"

The Eden couldn't help but giggle, giving Alex a quick, squeezing hug before continuing the play.
Raven appeared to scrutinize the distance, bending over and pointedly placing a hand over her eyes.
"Yep.." She straightened, beaming at Alex. "Thank yoo, Sir Awwexandow. I dunno what I would'a done wifout 'chu." Raven curtsied, trying to make it look like what she had seen other princesses do.
