Vegeta is my favorite character for many of the reasons above.
However, I do believe quite a few of you are uneducated in the ways of the Prince of all Saiya-jins.
He has been afraid and given up on more than one occasion.
The first time when he fought against Frieza. He believed himself to be a Super Saiya-jin but was defeated nonetheless. Vegeta then lost his will to fight.
A second time was against Broly. Acknowledging the fact that he was the Legendary Super Saiya-jin, Vegeta refused to fight against him.
I love Vegeta because he is determined to become the strongest fighter in the universe. He has good reason to be full of himself. He has lost everything but his pride. And that, he intends to keep. He does care for all of his friends and family, and yes that includes Kakarot. There is only one that can stand up to Vegeta, and that is Kakarot himself. In my eyes they are both equally matched. He and Kakarot both share the same agenda, albeit Goku keeps it quiet most of the time. They both want to defeat one another. I could go on preaching about Vegeta and his life, but I'll stop here for a moment.

I like him because again hes hot. Secondly because of his determination, his graciousness in the Buu saga, and the character development he goes through during the story.

He is bad-@$$ he is very stronge, he is cold and loveless. nothing to stop him from kicking @$$. he grew soft scream

Vegeta is the greatest. He is the imperfect hero, unlike all good, flawless Goku.

I like Vegata, because he may be the only person who develops this much through the whole DB/Z/GT Saga.
He goes from the evil, non caring, stuck up prince to a real hero for earth. Though he often doesn't show his emotions and seems most of the time like a cocky git, there's more than meets the eye to him.
He DOES care for everyone, even for Son Goku (mark his words before he sacrifices himself in order to defend Boo, even if it doesn't work).
And hey, would he have two children if he didn't care for Bulma?
So yeah, that'd be why he's my fav character. He lost so much but still has the will go on and to grow a heart for all the people on earth.

I used to hate him with a passion too but if you watch closely you can see his sweet side. heart He's a great guy.

Vegeta, my favorite...
He is rough, arrogant, honorable, power-hungry, has an interesting voice, is the prince of Saiyans, had a planet under his family name, still has evil in his heart as one of the good guys, looks cool, has an awesome kid, and is not perfect (ex/ he has flashes of cowardly and brave actions).
And as you may have noticed, I like that in a character. 3nodding

i find him annoying when he always brags about being the prince of the saiyans and saying stuff like hes the strongest. i hate character who have too much pride and makes them big headed

Saiyana2 Lithos_Draco i find him annoying when he always brags about being the prince of the saiyans and saying stuff like hes the strongest. i hate character who have too much pride and makes them big headed you say that and you have Gaara in you siggy?!? from my point of view gaara doesn't go round saying hes the best and no one can defeat him. once he got beat my naruto he changed for the better, also other people say gaara has an absolut defence not gaara

hell yeah Vegeta is awesome....i think he's cool because of his attitude and he's sticking to the saiyan oath no matter what!

I love Vegeta for all of the before-mentioned reasons.
He's possibly the most complex character in the series who has to deal with a lot of internal conflict.
I also might love him because of the morbid side I have. I mean, come on, I am also in love with Heathcliff from Wuthering Heights.
