"I don't sense anyone here but us around here." Ranma said truthfully. "I was told to go down a path to find my way in life or something, but I'm just old and tired."
That last response would probably seem weird to most people. Ranma only looked to be about 20 or so. "I guess, if we're heading towards the same goal we can travel together for a while."

He gave a shrug. "I suppose it would benefit us both." he stated before walking off, the rather familiar crunch of snow resounding beneath his boots.

Ranma folded his arms as he followed next to his new traveling companion in thought. "So, what's your name?" he asked.

"not true." Ranma said as he shook his head. "A name holds power. If people know your name they can cause you much harm. Especially when it comes down to the dark arts and curses. Be careful who you give your name to." Ranma continued on his way and added "It's kind of like how when you mention a persons name, and their presence seems to enter the room. Especially if it is someone you know."
"Shosami, can ya hear me?" Ranma thought, expanding his mind in all directions in an attempt to send a message. He really had no idea where or when he was. He took it in stride though, he really didn't care.

He gave a shrug uncaringly. "It still wouldn't change who you personally are, it is simply what you are called. And actually, it's only if the person know's your true name...The name the stars gave to you." he stated a bit poetically.

Ranma scratched the back of his head a bit with a sigh as he added. "I dunno, I haven't been my self lately. I feel off balance. I just want to go home a sleep or something."

Ranma continued to walk down the path as if he didn't notice what was going on above him. He didn't know if the figure above him was an assassin sent to kill him, his traveling companion, or if it was even an assassin at all. All he knew is that he was being followed, and that he didn't like it. It would be ill fated if the assassin was Sarah; he hadn't seen her since the chaos incident. He wanted to apologize to her and tell her that her brother was safe, but not unharmed. He was injured due to the cloaked man using him as a human shield, but the injuries were nothing too serious.

ice remained silent for a time, thinking silently to himself on power and many other topics. He soon, however, noticed his travelling partner a bit pre-occupied. "Something wrong?" he asked casually.
