"If that's what it would take for you to know such things, yes. Even knowing this area to be dangerous would be more knowledge then one such as I would have." She took ginger care to not chime out anything that may have unburied her own seer-like tendancies.

"It's only fair to leave some gift to us mortals, when those like yourselves get to have all the fun." she purred.

Indeed, the god's dismissal of the mention of seers was all that Leboya needed to be convinced the God cared nothing for the gift. So she asked nothing further.

It did seem, however, her manners would -finally- kick in on her part.

"Ah!" she suddenly bursted out into a small bit of laughter. "I knew I was forgetting -something-!" Coughing a bit, she lifted a paw and motioned to herself. "I'm Leboya."

To sting.

Chaos offered the mortal a slight nod. Well, then. Names were normally important to mortals, so he might as well give her what the mortals called him.

"Leboya. Interesting name." He let it linger in the air before answering. "Dath'charukai is what I am called, one 'who claws the heart'. The God of Chaos."

His tail flicked behind him, as did his ear. The warm weather was definately a damper on his coat, but it didn't quite bother him enough to do anything about it.

He had decided to ignore her comment that she could of easily taken wrongly. He thought that gods didn't owe mortals a thing, but he knew that there were some that would think otherwise...

"Hmm.... yours is better." She replied coyly, smirking a bit, before her mind took it to be of better idea to change the topic to something else.

Afterall, names were interesting and all, but only to a certain extent before you wanted to beat your head in with a stick (not that Leboya ever would. Just in passing thought)

"So what brought one such as yourself out here today?" the neon lioness inquired, her posture relaxing back to it's previous state, tail flicking at the bugs that buzzed merrily through the grass. Ugh, why couldn't they just buzz somewhere else.

"I mean, I don't often see one of your stature out and about in these lands."

Even with Dath being a God, the bug would still bother him if given a chance. His ears flicked again, fighting the urge to glare up at the sun. Not like it would do any good, but why did it have to be just so hot?

He gave a toothy yawn before answering her question. He always knew that mortals were full of questions....but, well, at least her's were decent, and not overly annoying.

"I'm actually out looking for something," he said casually, though he certainly wanted to find it. "And I'm not having much luck but....I'll fit it."

He left a little teasing at the end of his statement, wondering it the mortal would push him to get a bit more information.

The vague statement most definately got her undivided attention, and she had to bite her tongue to tell herself that she wasn't allowed to pry into it. It was rude.

But for sure, she'd be curious for the rest of forever.

"Ah, I see." she forced herself to say, while entertaining to notion that she was most definately not curious as to what it was he was looking for. Oooohhh though she -so- was.

"There are so many who seem to be doing such now a days." she mused, crossing one paw over the other, then turning her head to look back to the trees she'd come from, again checking for danger that wasn't even on her own tails.

How paranoid could she be?

Turning to look back at Dath, Leboya tilted her head to the side, simply explaining the mannerisms before he could ask; "I'm simply keeping an eye out."

Dath casually let his statement rest on her ears, and as she replied, he could tell that she'd want to know. Everyone had curiosity, and so he would be a little concerned if she wasn't interested.

He let the silence drag on, letting her explain her odd, useless checking of what was around them. Obviously she didn't realize that though a god didn't have the ability to see what was happening in different places, but that he was certain nothing of danger would appear around them.

"I'm looking for something important." He said, glancing over at her, his golden eyes studying her face. "I need to find a goddess. Have you come across any in your short time?" Nevermind that that could of been taken as eithr a compliment....or otherwise rubbing in her mortal status.

Her 'odd, useless checking', was not her checking for anything of harm that may have been approaching them, but rather she was looking to see if there were any furry bodies she could recognize playing in the grass to cause her alarm and run to them. Being a mother had that effect on her, causing her to drop anything she could be doing to dote on her little ones.

But nothing to arouse her to action had been seen yet.

"I may have, or may not have. Those of immortal status have a way of hiding themselves in a mortal's body." Leboya explained, frowning, not at that he mortality had been put into context (again) for her, but rather in that she was unsure of what help she could give him. She'd met another god in her short time, Bahari, god of fish, but she was unsure if there were any goddesses in her long list of friends. Though, indeed, there -was- one, but she was unaware that she was even a goddess.

Dath's tail twitched with annoyance. He didn't know what the goddess looked like, and thus this didn't help her at all. He sulked for a bit, fuming. Not at Leboya, for it wasn't her fault, but for that his search was still continuing, with no new information on where to look.

"Very well," he let out lightly. "I do not know what she looks like, and thus cannot press you for more information that you might not have." His growled lightly, frusterated. Where else was he to look? Perhaps if he went 'home' he could find something....though home was barely home to him. Damn gods always harassing him for his lack-of-control on anything. His claws pierced the ears as he thought of it, his paws flexing, releasing his anger. He slowly relaxed, and let it pass. They would all get it soon enough....soon enough.

The slight animosity that was shown in Dath's behaviour daunted Leboya a bit, causing her to lean away ever so slightly if only for her own saftey. Indeed, she was sorry she couldn't have been of any help to the god, but...

When he began to speak again, her posture perked up again, most definately making it a point to pay close attention to what the god said. Oh. Her ears drooped a bit as he expressed his disappointment, if only in his tone, for not having anything more to go on. Again, it gave her a pang of guilt.

"What -do- you have to go by on finding her? Perhaps if I do not know anything of it, I can ask others what they know of her." she offered in an attempt to ammend for her lack of knowledge.

Dath made a motion as if to get up, until the bright lioness near him spoke. He was a little surprised that she wanted to help so much. Why did the mortal care? It had nothing to do with mortals....which was strange enough for Chaos. He usually meddled in the affairs of mortals, not gods...but whatever's needed to get done.

"She is Love, I hear. I have a certain.....request of her." He said slowly, carefully. He guarded his emotions, saying his statement as drab and carelessly as he could. He didn't want mortals to know what was in his mind...what his plans where.

Leboya frowned at the mention of the domain. No, she'd never heard any mention of her, either. "I see..." she replied, sitting up, her brows furrowed together in thought as she contemplated what of the gods and goddesses she knew.

Perhaps she could ask Bahari if he knew anything.

".. I'm sorry I can't tell you anything more of what I do not know, but I'll ask around those I do, and see if I can find out anything for you." she purred, obviously proud that at -least- she could try and find out something for him....

in the likelihood that came with they she'd probably find nothing, and they'd never meet again anyways. How sad, that was.

Indeed, she suspected nothing.

Indeed, they perhaps wouldn't encounter one another again, but there was always the strange possibility. Perhaps a twitst of fate?

He gave her a nod and pulled himself up into a standing position, readying himself to leave. He didn't see any reason to stick around here, if she couldn't help him. He did feel a little bit (only a little!) appreciative that she was willing to help him. It was an odd sort of kindness that he wasn't used to.

He glanced back down her way, and gave her another nod, this one deeper then the other. Closest that he'd give to a 'thank you'.

"Very well. Perhaps if my search runs cold, I will seek you out again. I believe I will try again, in another place."

She waited on the god to rise, before following the motion, returning the nod to him with a bit of a smile. "I wish you well in your searches." she said, pondering if his search would bring him back to her again, though truely she doubted it.

"I, however, must go and check up on my little ones, whom I was watching for, now. So I must bid you farewell."

Leboya waited for a moment, to see if he would make any motions, before turning from the god, back towards where she had come from, to check for the little pitter-patter of her little one's paws, her eyes on the trees, though, only once, she looked back to see if Dath still stood there, but, it seemed, he'd already gone.

((I hope you don't mind my 'wrap up' involved me playing Dath as having left right then.... ))
