I reward mywself in many ways. Usually just the achievement is enough. But sometimes I will take a day off just to see my friends because when I dedicate myself to my workouts I sometimes ignore them!

A nice relaxing shower. I think that's the best way for me to unwind. Other people take baths...
Also, listening to some relaxing music is always nice.
;D Plus, having people saying "Wow, you lost weight!"

The health is the main reward, but yes... other ways of rewarding yourself is good.
I read in a reader's digest once that, don't necessarily work up to a ..... iPod, let's say.... instead.... ever time you exercise, or go for a run or whatever, when you come home put 25 cents in a jar. Do it every time you exercise and after a while you'll have a bunch of money.
So, that's what I have done in the past. Reward jar. It's very nice.

Here's my reward plan (because I have a LOT of weight to loose)
For every 10 lb I loose, I will be putting 25$ into a saving's fund for my tattoos. (That won't cover all of it really I don't think but it'll still be nice.) The first reward tattoo will be when I reach 190lb's. The second when I reach 140. : D
Other than that, just fitting into all my old clothes will be a reward in itself. I have alot of nice things that just don't fit me anymore, and given the weight I'm going to be loosing.... I'll need some new clothes anyway.

The Kohr I don't reward my self........ should I?? I just work out the reward is the aftermath. My Bodies growing strength puts a smile on my face mrgreen Totally agree, the results themselves are the reward for me razz

i used to reward myself with food... then i saw that i was not losing weight- and actually gaining it back! you can't reward yourself just to work twice as hard to go where you want to!
now i do things such as a pedicure, or some other spa treatment... i do enjoy being able to "perform" better- such as in my physical training tests and running farther, but health and being able to move is the greatest reward!
-and being able to put on the "skinny" pants!

Heh, yeah I went out and bought new training shoes and clothes today to reward myself. I know I'm only gonna wear the stuff when I'mn training or working, but still, that's how I spoil myself razz
