"Well yes but sunsets are always more beautiful with the flowers and plants to reflect the color." He nodded his head in agreement with himself. "Just looking at the picture you get to see all the beauty wrapped up in one big bundle."

Sherri gaped at him slightly, "Oh, that's deep." She chuckled softly, "Yes, I suppose you're right. Hm," She tilted her head to one side and examined Mizuki, "I wonder what season you are...You can see water in every season...except in those chilly cases of Winter where the bodies of water freeze over, tsk."

This idea bounced around in his head. "Yeah, I guess I don't go with any season... or maybe all of them..." He started thinking about it. "Well maybe I am that time when it isn't quite Spring, but alot of the snow has run off into water..." He smiled and looked back down at the water.

Sherri pondered what Mizuki had said, "The end of WInter and the beginning of Spring..." She tried ot imagine what that looked like, but ended up imaginging Mizuki floating down the river.

Mizu watched the ripples of the water as they hit the rocks. He loved the sound of it just couldn't stand the water... yet for some reason it allways called him in. Everytime he was around the water he would find himself in it at one point or another... and it was never his choice it just always happened.
There was a loud snapping noise from behind Mizu. He flattened his ears and turned to face Sherri. "Was that you?" He asked puzzeled. He quickly stood up and looked around. He was very doubtful that it was Sherri. It sounded like a large stick snapping, And there was no stick around Sherri.
Mizuki's eyes grew wide as he saw the bushes moving beside Sherri. "Sherri move!" He yelled jumping towards her to push hre out of the way. With in secondes where Sherri had been standing there was a Man with a bow and follwoing close behind there were dogs... and two smaller humans.
Mizu didn't know what to do.

Sherri's ears had perked up when she heard the loud snap, but she wasn't prepared for the actual impact of Mizuki pushing. She was about to give him a long lecture about etiquette when she noticed the humans and little beasties.
Sherri's ears flattened against her head in an angry manner as she let out a low growl. Which caused one of the dogs to bark at her.
"Look! What a weird deer!" The high pitched voice of a child only made her growl even more. The man with the bow and arrow laughed as he took aim.
Sherri quickly ran in a few circles to distract the humans before she turned around and began kicking up dirt. "Run!"

Mizu stood shocked as the Man raised his bow to shoot. He slowly looked over at Sherri who was running in circles. He looked around, but there was nowhere to run. The only choice they had was to run pst the humans and the dogs... or jump into the river. Mizu's body shook at the thought of jumping into the water. He didn't like it and he would rather be hit with a bow then be in the water.
He looked at Sherri. "But we can't!" He shock his head and lowered his horn to the ground trying to warn the humans while he thought. "The only way to go is past them or the water! And I am not jumping in that!" He stomped his foot stubornly.

Sherri growled again and continued to kick up dirt. She rolled her eyes before lunging at Miuzki suddenly, she pushed him into the river. Their only choice was to either swim up river-away from the humans-down river-past the humans-or to the other side of the river.
The easiest thing to do was to swim to other side, then they could run away. Sherri pawed at Mizuki's face impatiently and began pushing him frantically, "Quick, swim across to the other side. And yes, I apologize for pushing you into what you ahte and blah bah blah. But right now, living is more important so go go go!"

Mizuki lost his blance and feel into the water from being pushed by Sherri. He pushed his head to the top of the water and started to flail about in an attept to swim.
He was pawed a few times by Sherri and he tried to swim but he was having bad luck with it. He kept falling under the water surface and rising up. He tried to kick his feet behind him pushing him to the other side of the river but he still wasn't getting far at all.
A growl rose up from deep inhis through as he continued to kick... He was not happy at all about being in the water but he still tried to make it to the other side.
Finaly his paws touched the mossy rocks at the bottom of the river. He quickly stood up and started to push his way through the water to the bank. Putting his paws on dry land was like heaven but he didn't wait long before he jumped behind a bush.
"Sherri?" He called looking for her. He hadn't seen her for a moment... but maybe she was already waiting for him in another bush.

Sherri splashed around in the river a bit more, one of the dogs had jumped in after her. "Oh, don't try and be gallant you beast. Go back to your digusting humans!" Her voice was full of venom as she gave the dog a hard kick in the side.
Hopping out of the water, he dashed over to bushes and ran past Mizuki, noticing him, she doubled around and hobbled over to him. "Are you okay?"
She looked rather miserable, dripping wet, freezing, a tad bit of blood staining her lovely white fur. "Stupid thing bit me...What about you?" She looked around and turned back, "We should keep going, the farther away we run, the better." She gasped, her eyes wide. Sherri was obviously out of breath.

Mizu stared into the trees with out much thought... he was stunned about being in the icy water, and the humans. He slowly looked over at Sherri and nodded his head slightly. "I'm fine... you don't look so good though..." He looked at her soaking fur and the blood that turned the white to red in one area. "Okay, yes, lets run as far away as we can." As Mizu said this a large sting hit his foot. He had been hit by an arrow. Mizu howled in pain but started running. With every step he took it hurt more and more. "I need to get this out of my foot, but we can't stop!" He said looking over at Sherri.

Sherri nodded slowly before running as fast as she could. She was just a tail's length behind Mizu when she felt something whiz past her and then a pained howl entered her ears. She hissed, her polite and care free demeanor gone. She whirled her head around and gave the shrinking humans a withering look before screeching, "Filthly, vile humans!" She then added in a rather silly tone, "As revenge, I WILL EAT YOUR CHILDREN SOMEDAY."
Not many knew this, but Sherri had a dirty, cruel, venomous side that was quite the opposite of the meaning of her name. This side of her was the very opposite of a princess. She growled quietly as she tried to catch up to Mizu. With every step she took, it throbbed. There was a burning sensation in her wounded leg as blood pulsed through the many little holes the sharp teeth of a hunting dog had caused.
"Quick, turn to the right. We're still in plain sight and runnin in a straight line is foolish."

Mizu bent his ears back to hear Sherri. He never knew that she had such a visious side till now. He keep on going his paw hurting more and more. "Stupid humans." he mumbled.
Quickly he turned to the right, leting Sherri take the lead. He could tell that her leg was hurting her and he felt bad himself. "Maybe we can find somewhere to hide from the humans..." He said trying to think of ideas at the same time. "But we need to stop sometime to tend to our wounds."

Sherri's eyes still burned with rage, but a bright smile graced her face, "Yes...Here, let us rest here." She stopped and motioned weakly at some underbrush, "I'm sure the foliage would conceal our presence quite well..." She seemed quite unsure of herself and sighed, "The human couldn't possibly be smart enough to look for us behind some bushes! Ha!" She laughed bitterly, "And those mongrels...."
She padded over to the bushy area and swiped some of it away with one paw. She then said softly, "Besides, if the human does find us...I won't give him the satisfaction of killing us...."

Mixu nodded and followed behind Sherri to the bushes. "Humans do seem rather stupid... but then again there is so many of them, and all animals fear them." Mizu layed down and grasped his teeth around the arrow. This is going to hurt. He thought to himself, then with no more though he tugged on the arrow and it came out. "Oww" He sighed and began to lick at his wound. "Are you okay Sherri?" He asked looking over at her.
