Viscoso squealed in delight as he ran, trying to stay ahead of Johar. "You can't catch me!", he shouted back to the mare. Thinking, he might be able to outrun her over the stream, he leaped into the frigid water. Turns out the water was deeper than the colt thought as he went underwater when he jumped in.

Johar went wided eyed as he went under water. of course she jumped right in after him. pancking a bit, she looked every where in the water for him and shouted. " Viscoso you aright!!!?" now trying to look under water, she was a bit freaked out that he might have drowned.

Viscoso managed to pull himself up onto a rock in the middle of the stream. He was out of breath and a little dazed from the cold water. "I think so", he answered quietly.

When she heard Viscoso, she breathed a sigh of releaf and quickly went over to him. beign an adult the deep water wasn't too deep to her. " i'm glad your alright. i would have never forgivin myself if you had gotten hurt!." she gave him a small nuzzle. " now to figure out how to get you off here and on to some land so you don't almost drown again."

"I-I'm a-alright. Just a l-little c-cold", he said, shivering. The river water was starting to become very cold around the winter time, from the water that ran down from the ice glaciers up in the mountains. The colt wasn't used to the water very much at all yet since he hadn't had the chance to go for a swim yet. "I-I'm not a very good s-swimmer."

Johar looked about and the only way she could see geting poor little Viscoso out was to have him lay across her back so she could take him to land. she gave him another nuzzle before speaking. " listen to me carefully, i need you to lay yourself across my back so i can carry you back to land so you don't freeze here on the cold rock. you understnad?" postitioningher self where he could just lay across her back, she waited for him to do so.

Vis nodded and slowly and carefully climbed onto the mare's back like she had instructed. "O-okay I'm on", he said, trying to hold on with his little hooves. Water dripped off of his small horn and his hair was still pretty drenched, adding to his coldness.

Johar was careful to stay still as he did so. " ok hold on." really he couldn't hodl on to her except maybe hodl her mane with his mouth. slowly and carefully she made her way to soild land. it seemed to take forver to get to the land because of the slow careful pace the gentle mare went at, but it wasn't long til they where on land and she carefuly laid down so Viscoso could get off. after that whole ordeal her nerves where a wreak but she was happy Viscoso was alright.

Viscoso slid off of Johar's back and curled himself into a little shivering ball. "Th-thank you, Johar." His head snuggled into the mare's side for her warmth. "I-I wish my s-sisters were here. I'm sure they'd r-really like to meet y-you", he said smiling a little up at her.

Johar tossed her mane to cover him like a blanket and smilied. " you welcome and i would be glad to meet your siblings so time. but for now lets warm you up." she was actualy glad to have met Viscoso though he truely tested her, in keeping up with him.

He nodded as she tossed her mane over his small body and was thankful that he had already started to warm up. He snuggled his head against her again but felt something move. Lifting his head, he perked his ears toward Johar's stomach curiously. "You must be really hungry, Johar, cause I felt your stomach move", he said, looking up at her before looking back down at her stomach.

Johar chuckled a bit. " no worries Viscoso, lets just get you all warmed up so you wont be cold anymore." of course she wasn't hungry, but was actualy a expecting mother of foals though she didn't show much of the signs just yet.

Viscoso nodded and curled up into a little ball again beside Johar. Along with the aid of the mare's long tail, the colt was beginning to warm up back to his normal temperature. "I'm not goin' swimming anymore", he said, shaking his head.

Johar chuckled a bit. " how about don't go swiming in the freezing water. so after your warm, is there anythign you would like to do?" she asked, courious of what a foal would like to do. though she figured he would liek to pla, but she figured he might like doing other thngs.

"I'll go swimming in the Summertime", he nodded. "Well I don't know any other games but tag, and that didn't go so well. Do you know of any games to play?", he asked, looking up at Johar.
