Wendy shook her head and turned away from him. "You just better watch yourself." She said walking towards the railing and leaning against it.

Wendy smirked to herself then turned swiftly around her green eyes feirce. She slowly sauntered back his direction pulling out her dagger from belt. "Now why would I want to do anything to harm you my brother?" She asked running her finger on the sharp end of the blade and allowing it to cut her finger. She looked at the finger with the blood that had gathered where the cut was, pretending to look shocked and pained. She showed it to Faris before licking the blood off her finger.

"Quite sharp..." She said thoughtfully. "Sharp enough to stab a man in the heart. Want to help me test that theory Faris?" She asked as if she were asking him the time of day or somthing then holding the dagger up prepared to stab on his word.

"Oh you got me brother!" She exclaimed over-dramatically dropping her dagger. "You have out smarted me my brother!" She said wrapping her hand around the dagger pointed at her belly and moved so the tip touched her shirt covered belly. "Strike now Faris, for if I have been outwitted by such a bafoon((sp?)) as you, death is what I deserve." She didn't really believe he was stupid, but she knew he wouldn't take it seriously. She closed her eyes as if she really expected him to do it.

Wendy stood there and watched as Faris quickly slipped away. Has he ever move that fast before? She subconciously put her hands to her lips as she thought about what had just happened and stared at the fleeing Faris. Where did that come from?!

Her thoughts were interupted as the lookout, Sam yelled to her.

"Captain! Captain!" He shouted at Wendy though she didn't seem to be completely there. "Captain Wendy!" He shouted again. When she still didn't aknowledge him he picked up a small rock he had stored up there, since people had a hard time listening to him and threw it down at her. "Captain!"

"Aye!" Wendy said feeling the rock hit her head then hearing Sam's voice. "What is it Sam?" She asked sounding slightly irratated.

"Captain, it's the island dead ahead!" He shouted down to her and pointing. "Take a look for yerself!"

Wendy looked where he pointed. She could see the outline of and island and pulled out her telescope to check it out. "Yep, that's it! Thanks Sam!" She shouted taking position back at the wheel.

"Aye Captain." He said. Then after a second of hesitation he asked, "Er, captain are you alright? Things ok?" She seemed slightly destracted.

"I'm fine Sam! Just get back to your watch." She shouted at him coldly. Sam didn't bother to answer just went back to his business. Wendy sighed, she was glad the island they were going to was free waters and they wouldn't have to change the flags. It was too much of a hassle. She looked back at Faris wondering what to do.

Wendy shook her head as she watched Faris walk below deck. He was just joking! That's all it was... "Gah! Stop being such a girl!" She told herself quite a bit louder than she had meant to. Half of the crew stopped what they were doing and turned to stare at her. "You heard me! All o' ya! Acting like little girls out here! Put some back into it men! Can't you see we're almost there! Get to work!" She shouted. She suddenly wondered how many of them had seen Faris kiss her. Gee I'm glad he didn't hear that...did he? She looked around to make sure he wasn't creeping around anywhere. Breath Wendy, breath. She walked back to the wheel trying to focus soley on the corse.

Wendy was just starting to focus and truly forget about Farris when he appeared again. "God Farris!" She shouted spinning around and pressing up against the wheel. "I...I mean, I...what did you say?" She said forcing herself to relax. "Oh...yeah! Maria, um, I think she still lives in the um, house my father bought. It's on the edge of the center of town. I figure I'll start there." She said nodding and trying still to remain cool.

Wendy forced herself to shake off her momentary lapse of her normal self. "You may stay if you like, but I do not know if Maria's child was a son. I can hold my own, I don't need a body gaurd." She said walking past him and giving him a good shove. It was mostly in a joking manner, but she was slightly annoyed and shoving him felt good.

He doesn't want you Wendy. He's a pirate. Look at how many women old Dan went through. No matter what they'll always be chasing some treasure. She folded her arms across her chest and gave a smug smirk to Farris as she walked towards the stairs to go below deck.
