A True Story
by Daisy Plindusta
I ran through the garden, yelling and screaming
But when my mother came out, I said I was only kidding
She threw a fit, and yelled at me
I said "Mother, I'm only 3"
She sighed and walked away
Then I smiled, and felt okay
I started running again, feeling alright
Then a branch popped out of nowhere
And I woke up in my bed late that night
My mother was sleeping on a chair beside me
I started crying, hard, harder than I hit my head on that tree

I know the end kinda....... doesn't work out, but I liked my poem, especially cause it really happened to me
