(After lunch and stuff)

Sere creeps down the hallway slowly, peering about cautiously to make sure none of her siblings heard or looked at her, before quickly darting into her mothers room, carefully opening and shutting the door with only a soft click. Leaning agaisnt the door, her blond hair falling crazily over her shoulders, she peers about the blue, white, and lilac colored room before her gaze rests on what she had been looking for: Her mother's curling iron. Peering behind her at the door in a moment of hesitation, she shakes her head and quickly trots over to the dresser the hair brush, curling iron, and hair dryer were all lying on. Quickly grabbing the curling iron and hair brush, Sere slipped out the door again to the bathroom.

Plugging the iron in and turning it on, she takes a quick, five minute shower to wait for it to heat up. Hopping out and drying herself off, she wraps a snowy white towel around her torso and waist, peering curiously at the curling iron for a moment before shaking her hair out. Grabbing a hank of it, she pulls it straight before wrapping it slowly around the iron, quietly listening to the soft hiss of steam as the water evaporated from the heat. When she uncurled the lock of hair, it was still semi damp, and curling slightly.

Glaring at her rebellious hair, she grabs another towel, briskly scrubbing it all over her hair, getting most of the dampness out, but not all, so it was still pliable. Again, she winds a lock of hair around the curling iron, and she smiles at the result, a short, ear length bob of curls(Like sausage curls, and she had curled the lock of hair that went to her chin biggrin ). Quickly repeating the process with the rest of her hair, she silently contemplated the finished result in the mirror, the curls all bouncing about with every movement of her head. Running her fingers through her warm and dry, now curly, hair, she pulled the knots out, the curls loosening up abit to look more natural and pretty.

Finally smiling, she unplugs the curling iron, quickly stowing it and the unused hair brush under the sink for the time being. Carefully retying her towel, she quickly runs out from the bathroom back to the sanctuary of her room, changing into clean clothes and then retiring to the windowsill to think...

8:21am, before school start

Stretching slowly as she sat up from the red sheets, Sere swung her legs over the side of the bed, hopping off of it before grabbing some clothes from the windowsill and making a dash for the bathroom, the balls of her feet making a soft slap slap sound as they hit the carpet. Quickly shutting the door behind her, she idly dropped the floor length skirt and long sleeve shirt she had grabbed, which she had "borrowed" from her mother's dresser. Quickly jumping into the shower, she got her hair wet again like the week before, but instead, once she got out she grabbed the pair of scissors down from the mirror shelf, studying herself in the mirror.

After a minute of contemplation, she pulls a lock of her hair forward, the hair falling to just above her elbow. Her hand just hung in the air, the scissor's blades open and poised around the lock of hair before snipping it neatly off. The gold-blond hair quickly fell to the floor as she commenced snipping and cutting the rest of her hair. Once finished, her hair hung to just below her shoulders since it was still wet.

Ignoring the pile of wet gold locks on the floor, she grabbed the curling iron again, as well as the hairdryer, repeating her actions from the last week, drying and curling all her hair so it was in shiny and bouncy curls and waves, now since dry hanging to just below her chin. Contemplating her new image, she finished drying her body before slipping the long, floor length violet skirt on, the fabric falling to a few inches below her feet if she had been standing on a stool. She then slid on the loose, creamy white under shirt, the collar hanging right below her collarbone, then pulled on the shiny copper over shirt, the creamy little gems and sequins adorning the sleeves and bottom of the shirt winking softly in the light, the collar hanging an inch below the one of the undershirt.

Smiling faintly at her new reflection, she peered warily out the door, before scooping the now dry, cut locks of her hair into the trash can, dropping some tissues in over it so no one would hopefully notice the blond hair inside it. Once finished with that, she quickly snuck out of the bathroom and back to her room, grabbing a winter ski hat and shoving it on over her head so no one would hopefully notice her new hair length before heading down the stairs to the kitchen to eat breafast.

Around three thirty PM, after school.

Idly tossing her small school bag onto the counter after stalking through the door, Sere ran her fingers through her short curls, still not super used to the shorter length. Looking around cautiously, she trotted outside to the backyard where Shaia was, practicing with her sword and staff. "Ummm.... Heey, Shaia...?"

Passing off a few more strokes with a huff of breath, Shaia stood up straight, wiping her face with a kerchief she had tied round her wrist. Dropping the staff on the ground and picking up a sword, she raised an eyebrow at Sere, nodding her head over for the girl to approach. "Yeah, angel-wings? And I see you've done something new with your hair, though I'd recommend asking me, Gin, or Feinne next time. It looks a tad rough in the back." She said with a smile.

She fidgeted uncomfortably. "Umm, yeah, just a little bit hard to get the back with only one mirror. Errmm, well, anyways, I was just, umm, wondering... Well, do you, Feinne, or-or Ginny sing...?" She blushed faintly, looking down at her feet even though they were hidden by her change of clothes, the violet skirt covering her toes. "I-I'd like to learn..." She mumbled.

Shaia cocked her head to the side, studying the angel for a moment before letting out a burst of laughter, resting the sword on her shoulder. "Ha ha ha, sure thing! I'm pretty sure Feinne knows how to sing. Havn't a clue where she learned, and she never cares to offer it up, but I'm sure the icebox'd be glad to teach ya." She winked, smiling still before shouting loudly "FEINNE! GET YOUR FURRY WHITE TAIL OUT HERE!" She settled back with an amused grin, sitting down and folding her long legs in front of her.

There was a loud curse from in the house, and the sound of a door slamming before the former general's loud, irritated stomps were heard. After a moment, the back door was thrown open, an irritated and frazzled looking Feinne standing there with her pale hands on her hips, her tail lashing quickly behind her. "What? I'm trying to clean up this pig sty Nikomas calls a home, what do you need NOW?"

Shaia shrugged, nodding her head at Sere with a grin before standing up and continuing with her sword strokes.

She bit her lower lip, looking down and not at Feinne's irritated eyes, the angel's usual fire gone and replaced by nervousness. "Umm... Well, Shaia said y-you could sing, so I was wondering if you could teach me...?" She asked nervously, holding her arms behind her back as she looked up finally into the neko's cold, silver grey eyes.

She glowered in response, throwing her hands up in the air. "FINE! If it'll let me get a moment of peace to clean up this damn rats nest, then yes! Whatever!" She rolled her eyes in disgust, stalking back in and slamming the door. "In one hour, out here! You come late, you don't get a second of teaching from me, got it?"

Sere nodded vigorously, trying to keep from smiling and retain at least a little of her reputation. She bounded inside, hauling her skirt around her knees as she ran up the stairs to her room, pulling out her diary to write about what just happened.

((Errmm, okay, yeah, just assume the lesson goes well, though Feinne won't admit it xd Just don't feel like finishing it right now, trying to update lotsa stuff >___> And being lazy xD))

Mid Afternoon

Niko walked slowly up the pathway to her home, her footsteps nearly silent amidst the chirping of the birds and buzzing of the insects. It's been so long... She thought to herself, tugging her violet blindfold down, letting it rest around her neck. Are any of them mad at me...? I wouldn't blame them, but I had to go back, I had to help him...! She shook her head, mulling over the reason she left and what had happened when she did. She had some gotten a message from one of the older goddesses back at Oasis, her homeworld, who told her that her old love, Raphael, was dying. Raphael needed her, and Niko had to go see him before he breahted his last, she loved him so much. So she left, the Oasis goddess providing a temporary way to return to Oasis, where she did what she had to do, meeting up with Raphael. What she wasn't aware of, though, was what had happened after she met up with her love again before he died...((She's pregnant. She doesn't know though xd ))

She shook her head again, quietly opening the front door and peering around, looking for any of her childrens' or friends' heat signatures, or just any blob of living heat. She slid her whole, slim and slender body in through the door frame, only to be tackled a second later by a small red panda. "Ha ha, Red, down, down!" She said, laughing.

Aqua was sitting in the play room, playing with some blocks, when Red, who had been snoozing next to her, suddenly shot her head up, ears pricked forward, before taking off into the main hall. Aqua gace the panda's retreating tail a questioning look, but when she heard a familiar laugh she understood, and clambered up from the carpeted floor. "MOM!" She shrieked, also dashing into the front hall and tackling her mother in a tight, ribcrushing hug.

The shriek of Aqua echoed around the house, immediately piquing(sp?) the interest of most of the other kids that were close enough to hear it(That being pretty much all of them, 'cept Sere, whose in her room listening to music), resulting in Niko being in the center of an enourmas family hug.

"Goddess, leggggooooo! I needa breath at some point!" She said through happy laughter. She gave all of them hugs as Shaia, Ginny, and Feinne stood in the door way, smiling or looking neutral according to their personality. Finally, everyone started asking questions, and she held up her hands in a gesture of surrender. "N-no, I don't think any of y'all'll understand, but I had to go back, back, umm, to, to Oasis..." She said nervously, fidgiting.

The three "sitters" all nodded, knowing what she had went back to do, since she had told them before leaving.(No one knows she's pregnant xD) They all either patted Niko on the back, hugged her, or nodded, again according to their temperments.

Zuko smiled at his mother, though after he hugged her, he took a moment to study her face. She looks sad... What happened when she left? I know something important did, since she left us to begin with... But she looks worn out, tired, and older then before, though not by too much... He mulled over this, before smiling again with the rest of the family.

Once all the happy reuniting was over, Niko noticed that Sere wasn't there. With Blackfell resting on her hip[He refused to leave "pretty lady's" side, for fear of her disappearing again], she wended her way around the many children, leaving the task of getting them settled down to Shaia, Ginny, and Feinne, and went up the stairs, opening the door to Sere's room and standing there, waiting for the girl to notice her.

Sere had thick stereo headphones on, and was laying on her stomach on her bed looking through a book of sheet music, singing along with the music softly. She got a niggling feeling in the back of her head, and turned her head to look at the doorway. Her eyes widened when she saw her mom standing there, the fat crow boy on her hip. She sat up, tugging the headphones down around her neck and turning the music down, before folding her arms across her chest. "Well? Mind explaining why you were gone for heaven knows how long? Not that I care, or anything. Just would like to know why I got three loons dumped on me." She glared.

She turned away for a moment, putting 'Fell on the floor as Red clambered around her feet. When Blackfell was occupying himself, she turned back to her most difficult daughter with a sad look. "Would you even care if I explained, Sere...?" She asked softly, knowing the other angel would have to turn the music down more to hear. She shook her head, looking away from her daughter. "H-He needed me... An old friend, from Oasis... You don't know him, no reason why you would. He was dying, and I needed to go and help him. You know I'm an angel, it's my job to ease the passing of those about to die. Raphael, we... We loved each other." She shrugged helplessly, not wanting to elaborate further because of the pain.

Sere's face lost the glare, turning neutral, not a bit of emotion showing; One of the things she had picked up from Feinne. "So, you left your children for some guy? Doesn't seem too responsible to me. But then, I'm just a silly little child, what would I know?" She asked angrily, making a face before glaring again. "If you think some dead guy is more important then eleven kids put into YOUR care, so you suddenly hightail it outta here, then that's your problem. Not ours." She said coldly, though she did feel a small, microscopic pang of pity. She didn't know what it was like to love someone, but she knew what it was like to lose something important.

Niko looked down, not meeting her daughter's eyes, not denying her cold accusation. It's halfway true... I am the guardian of so many children, and I just left them... It wasn't right, but I left capable people to care for them! They did fine! Sere seems to be the only one whose angry about it... She hung her head, before speaking softly again. "If that's the way you feel about it, then fine, pin the blame on me. If there must be a scape goat for whatever wrong, then let it be me. I left, true; To help the man I grew up with and loved. Someday I hope you'll understand that, Sere." She lifted her head up slowly as she spoke, till she finally looked the child in the eye. On the last sentance, she stepped forward quickly, giving her daughter a hug before the girl could flinch back, and quietly left the room, scooping up 'Fell and Red on her way.

The angel froze in surprise at the sudden touch, and frowned at her mother's words after she left. Maybe... Why do I have to live here...? Unreliable guardians, annoying siblings, no one who cares... She vented in her head, feeling a need to punch something for a reason she couldn't explain. Why did I blame her? If I ever felt that way about someone, I'd do the same thing. Wouldn't I...? She asked herself, resting her chin in her arms and laying back down on her belly. I've never felt that way, so can I really blame her as much as I did? Sure, she left us, her kids, but she came back... She shook her head, her head spinning from all being intaken. Turning her music up again, loud enough to drown out her voice, she started singing, shoving and pushing all her emotions into the words, praying that the music drowned out her voice...

Late Afternoon

Sere cautiously poked her head out her bedroom door, looking around warily before tiptoeing out in a pair of plain jeans and a t-shirt(Quite unlike her usual attire), a sport sack slung over her shoulder, and a set of headphones danging round her neck, the wire trailing into the opening of the bag. She quickly went down the hallway, down the stairs, grabbed her mom's boots from next to the door(Her regular ones wouldn't do), slid them on, then opened the door, left, and shut it with a soft click behind her. She quickly ran up to the fence surrounding her house, dodging behind it before any family members could see her. Once past the fence, she straightened, taking a discman out of her bag. She turned the volume up as high as it would go, and leaving the headphones around her neck, she listened to the music for a few minutes, walking down the street. After a moment or two of straight music, no words playing, she started singing:
O Holy Night, the stars are brightly shining,
It is the night of the dear Saviour's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the Spirit felt its worth.
A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
O night divine, the night when Christ was born;
O night, O Holy Night , O night divine...
She trailed off as the music continued playing. She couldn't remember where she had heard that song before. She knew it was a christmas song, and she just suddenly fell in love with it. She really liked it, but she couldn't remember where she originally heard it. Shrugging to herself, to let the music play, humming along with it, hoping no one had heard her singing, since she wasn't exactly the most quiet about it.

Satin Regret
(( ninja *Sneaks in for ULTIMATE BITCHINESS RP! domokun xD))

Sere hadn't the slightest clue WHY she was at this stupid looking place. She had just randomly walked off from home with a shoulder sack and a discman, singing silly little christmas songs though she'd never tell anyone that little detail. She glared around as she wound her way through the trees, peering cautiously at a wood cabin as she came upon it. Who by Heaven's name would willingly live in a smelly rat hole like this...? She thought to herself, bemused

evermore_crystal
This place is getting rather boring. Even boringer than it had been all along. Imrine has had literally nothing to do over the past, oh only 2 months. Caer was always in her room doing
"experiments" that probably involves sugar and butter, judging from experience. They tast great but, honestly, it's no fun to meddle with, and even less interesting to watch someone do it.

To waste precious time that would've been spent on something productive if not for the fact that Caer gave her strict orders to stay within sight of the cabin (wonder why), she had being wondering just at the edge of her aloowed zone, doing nothing in particular. Wait...is someone humming? Imrine frowned. She doesn't enjoy company most of the times. And whoever this is...is humming Christmas songs. that can't be a good sign. Ahh well, beats nothing.

"Hi," she said to the stranger, hovering about 2 feet in front of this person's face.

Satin Regret
Sere jumped at the sudden appearance of someone completely and totally invading her "personal bubble." Her eyes widened, and her throat shut as she started at the other girl, her mouth opening and shutting, but her throat refusing to work. After a second of looking like a fish gasping for breath, she shook herself, the startled look turning into a haughty glare. "Do you mind, cherry face?" She asked, sneering and shoving Imrine out of her face. "Don't get near me, I'd like to remain normal, please." She turned her nose up, turning off her discman and sticking her headphones into the shoulder sack, before glaring at the other girl again. "What, aren't'cha even gonna apologize? Most normal people don't like it when random red faced weirdos appear in their face."

evermore_crystal
Being small and granted the ability of flight has its advantages. Instead of taking the full blow of the rather hostile girl's push, Imrine mearly dropped to the side causing the oterh to hit empty air instead. An energetic one, huh? She completely ignored the first comment, which she assumed was meant to be an insult. that wasn't even a good insult.

"Normal?" instead she took on a rather too innocent note with a rather too dramatically hurt expression. "You certainly don't look normal...I mean, with wings and all. then again this is Gaia." The grin turned a bit...unpleasant at this point. "Most people who hang around here arn't quite that normal at all."

Satin Regret
Sere raised an eyebrow. "Course I'm normal. I'm an angel. What's your lame excuse?" She snorted. "And at least I'm not some little midget fairy. I don't have to worry about someone stepping on me." She smirked, sticking her tongue out. "And so I noticed. I'm the most normal person in my whole bloody family, which is larger then one would expect." She said, rolling her eyes skyward.

evermore_crystal
She certainly has attitude, Imrine gives her credit for that. "Angel?{/i] Since when have angels had tempers like you do? And by the way, with a temper like that you need a proper way to express it." she frowned slightly, not in the irratated way but rather in cold, stern calculation. " 'Midget fairy"? If that's what you think of ME, wait till you meet that other person who owns this place."

"Some family you have." Imrine can't help but feel sympathy. nothing's worse than being related, in ANY WAY, to a bunch of idiots not worth crap.

Satin Regret
SHe snorted. "Oh, you think you'd be the one to teach me? When you're more likely to be lost in a shoe if misplaced?" She asked, poking a finger at the much smaller teenager. "And yes, MIDGET fairy! Seeing as your as big as my hand..." She held up her hand for example, looking as if she were about to swat a fly.

evermore_crystal
"Shut. The ********. UP." It didn't came in a burst or anything; no annoyance was even really displayed from the way she said it. It just...came up, as a meer statement. "Oh, little Mishie b***h shinks she knouws eweryshing alwready," Imrine said in a mock baby talk, making rather rather exaggerated facial movements. "You really, seriously think..." she let her coive trail off, leaving the otehr to guess what else she might've said.

Satin Regret
Sere's eyes widened; It was indeed the first time she had heard such language, though inwardly she was pleased with learning the words. She quickly put the arrogant look back up, glaring at the little thing flying in front of her face. "When did I say I know everything, moron? I would just rather not be taught by something I'm more likely to step on then see." She said, sticking her tongue out.

evermore_crystal
Inwardly, Imrin's laughing maniacally. Oh, the sweet innocence of childhood is the worst ******** thing in this world. Put next to it, hell doesn't seem too bad from her perspective.
"You never did. But actions and attitudes speaks much more effectively than words. And what do you do, walk with your a** to the sky?" she snorted. "How else can you step on a, oh I don't know, something that flies?" This, is defanately MUCH more fun than she had anticipated. Too bad from the way this is going, it doesn't look as if it'll stay that way for too long. Might as well enjoy it while she can.

"you're such a blond," she commented casually, reflexes on red alert in case the angel tries something she shouldn't.

Satin Regret
Sere glared, and if daggers could come from eyes there'd be quite a few in the little "midget fairy" right now. "No, unlike some people I could mention, who I highly doubt you would know, and I doubt your little brain could take in their memories, I don't walk with 'my a** to the sky' as you so eloquently put it." She sneered, her voice dripping sarcasm. "And of course, I AM a blonde, you moron." She rolled her eyes. "Though I think of myself as smarter then many blondes I could mention."(Barbie! xd )

evermore_crystal
The glare was a rather nice one. Quite expertly done; she must've had practice. "You call THAT eloquent? Hon, you have not seen the true masters of language." Young idiots. They all think they're the best; Imrine knows better. "Smarter than many other blonds? That's not saying too much, considering how much most of them have to begin with."

"Do you even know the meaning of such 'eloquent' expressions?" The tone was a slight mock, yet a bit curious. How much DO little brats know these days, anyways?

Satin Regret
She snorted, ignoring the second blond comment, and rolling her eyes. "OH puh-leae. Like I even need to explain?" She asked, planting her fists on her hips. "Morons use them to make themselves feel big." She mades a face, wrinkling her nose at the little thing still irritating her.

evermore_crystal
What a big little brat. This is starting to get annoying rather than interesting. And what do teenagers do to vent annoyance when verbal abuse runs out? Why, physical harrassment, of course. With the speed and ease of long practice (against what, one might wonder), Imrine drew out her tiny dagger from where it had being hiding in her sleeves, and before the other girl can put two and two together, make four, and realize what happened, Imrine had alreay left a bleeding wound on Sere's wrist. It was only slightly deeper than a scratch; a quite impressive feat, one might note, considering the size of the dagger and the size of it's bearer. But the cut was only a tiny one, like it's intended to be. Just enough to keep that little babbling mouth remembering for a week or so.

"That. Was a warning," Imrine stated calmly, once again ready for any reactions the brat might fling out.

Satin Regret
Sere jumped back as she saw a sudden glint of something shiny, but not quick enough to avoid getting cut anyways. She winced slightly as she felt it, it felt like a slightly more paintful then usual paper cut. She lifted her wrist to her mouth, tracing her tongue on the cut while glaring daggers at the little thing waving the dagger at her. "Warning taken, midget." She said calmly, dropping her hand back onto her hip. "Though you might want to be more careful about who you wave that little toothpick at..." She said, glaring still, as she pointed to the little inch long dagger.

evermore_crystal
"Toothpick? Toothpicks hurt more, you know. They have nice long splinters that stay under your skin and doesn't come out unless you cut the wound open." Her eyes narrowed, and for the first time (amazingly) she looked menacingly at Sere. "Oh, I do consider who I deal with and play with. It just seems that...how shall we put it." She paused, either for effect or really thinking of a "pleasant" way to say it. "You just seem to ask for it, and you don't look to threatening to me."

Satin Regret
Sere glowered at the little faery, sticking her tongue out. "Ehhh, shaddap you. I can be threatening when I want, just don't see the point in doing anything to a little four inch tall flying cherry." She said petulantly, folding her arms across her chest and sticking her nose in the air with a harumph.(xD)

evermore_crystal
Suit yourself," Imrine murmured, no longer interested in whatever else might happen. Today's fun is at its end. And tommorrows...actually next time's...won't come till who-knows-when.

"Just...come by some other time. This place could use some more chaos," she invited the girl half-heartedly. Not that she really think Sere'll ever come back, anyways. But, you know, for formality and politeness' sake (ha!). In fact, it was more of an invitation for Sere to leave rather than to come again. Not that Imrine would mind the company again; this place really could use some "livenin' up".

Satin Regret
The girl glared again, sticking her tongue out. "Ha! Like I'd willingly come back to this little stink hole. Especially if some moronic flying cherry invited me." She rolled her eyes, turning her back and turning up her music, putting her headphons back on her ears. With one more glare over her shoulder at the little thing floating there, she started off back down the path, humming ever so softly while thinking mutinous thoughts.

evermore_crystal
Hm. That REALLY worked quite well, no sarcasm involved. With a smirk, Imrine headed back for the quaint little cabin, wondering if she'd missed a book hidden on the shelves. That was certainly...interesting.

Growing Post

Sere sat on her window sill, staring out into the morning light. After a half hour or so of just silence, she dropped off the sill, heading for her dresser. I doubt I'll have anything that'll be appealing, but I can always tear it or something... She thought while sifting through the drawers. She came up with a pair of dark nylons, meant for dresses, that her mother had bought for her for special occasions. She stared at them for a few minutes, before making some rips and tears all along the stretchy fabric. After tossing them onto the bed, she pulled up a pair of already somewhat torn, very very dark blue jeans, that were a hand-me-down from Aqua. Damn freak... Why do I have to get her junk...? She mentally grumbled to herself. She tugged her skirt off, grabbing the nylons(Which now looked more like torn fishnets) on, then yanked the jeans on. They fit nice and snug, but she wasn't satisfied; She started tearing part of the pants off, around her right knee, making a ring around her knee before she pulled that section of pants off, showing the torn nylon-netting. She smiled, pleased with that, before going back for a shirt. She came up with a shirt that Feinne had bought her for no apparent reason; It was black with white sleeves, with dark red rings lining down the sleeve; In bold white letters, it said on the front "I'm busy. You're ugly. Have a nice day." The angel couldn't help but laugh as she saw that again. She had liked Feinne, with her neutral attitude. She slid the shirt on, looking at herself in her mirror. She frowned. Something's still off... She mused, before tearing the left sleeve of her shirt off, and grabbing a black sock, she cut off the ends of it, and cut a hole in it for her thumb, before sliding it onto her left arm, holding it out in front of her to inspect. She nodded, actually smiling before turning to the mirror with an appraising eye. "I like it." She said to herself, frowning as she looked at her wings. They're bigger... Wait, what day is it? She scrambled over to her calandar that her mother had bought her, peering at the day. December 17th... OH! She just remembered what day that was. Huh, that's why... She thought, frowning, before shrugging her new age off. She grabbed her red shoulder sack, which still had her CD player in it, and hung the headphones around her neck, before heading out of her room and down the stairs to see what her mother would shout about concerning her new "look"...

3:42pm

Sere was sitting on her bed, her music up loud enough that no one could hear her singing, even though her voice was relatively quiet anyways. She was leaning agaisnt her wall, one knee up against her chest, the other leg flat on her bed, with one elbow resting on the raised knee as she stared at the end of her bed, not paying attention to anything.

She stayed like that for the better part of an hour, letting the whole CD of one of her more preferred bands, Three Days Grace(Awesome!), play through. Once the music fell silent, the abrubt quietness in her room and on the second floor cause the angel to blink, as if waking up. She shook her head, sitting up and running her fingers through her hair, tugging the rebellious knots out. She slid off her bed, grabbing her bag and slinging it over her shoulder before shutting off her stereo and heading down the stairs to the front hall. Before anyone could ask, she shouted, very loudly, "I'm going out," and shutting the door with a click.

She stood silently on the front step for a moment, her eyes shut, thinking. Where's the nearest shitty music store...? She asked herself, calling up a fuzzy map in her head. The nearest one was about 5 or 6 blocks away; Damnit to hell, I hate walking! She thought, kicking a nearby bush irritably before striding down the path and out the front gate, before turning down the sidewalk, heading into the more populated section of Barton. Now where the ******** is it again...? She wondered briefly as she shoved her hands in her pockets, wishing she had changed into a pair of pants before leaving the house; She was wearing the double layer, mid-thigh length dress, and she was freezing her a** off! She glared as her breath came out in clouds of white, hunching her shoulders.

After walking for at least half an hour, she turned into an alleyway, smiling triumphantly to herself as she saw the ratty old sign announcing the store. B.C. Rich... Well, they're certainly modest with their name... She thought as she shoved the door open, slamming it shut quickly and leaning agaisnt it, relishing the feeling of warmth; Not much different then outside, but still better. After a moment of hurriedly rubbing her hands up and down her arms to try and warm them, she looked around the dirty shop. Nothing in there was clean, except for the instruments hanging on the walls. Guitars, symbols for drums, bongos, all sorts of things. There was a beatup counter on one side, with a suspicious looking guy sitting behind it, smoking a cigarette and reading the paper. He didn't even look up as the angel came in. Probably doesn't even know I'm a ******** angel... She thought, sneering to herself as her halo bobbed a little, the dim light coming from it making her hair appear more orangey gold.

She walked over to the racks of instruments, her eyes lingering on the guitars. She started sifting through them, looking at all of them. Damnit, no, none of them are good enough, they all look like they'd break if something touched it wrong... She trailed off in her head as her gaze landed on one particular guitar...

If a person could honestly get hearts in their eyes, Sere's would be bugged out like anything. She gingerly lifted the guitar off the rack, sitting on the dirty floor and resting the instrument in her lap. She slowly strummed her fingers across the strings; Soft notes echoed it, sounding fine, though some of the strings looked like they'd need to be replaced soon. s**t, this is what I want... Too bad I can't buy it... She thought sadly, about to stand up and put it back, before a thought froze her. But what if I don't pay for it...? A slow smile spread across her face. She was never the best at acting, but she figured there's a first time for everything, and she'd rather not have to answer any questions from the guy behind the counter, even though she doubted he was paying attention. She hid behind one of the guitar stands, peering cautiously at the guy reading. She reached into her bag, sitting on the floor again, till she pulled out a small bounce ball that Aqua had dropped in there at one point. She smiled slightly, spreading a wing and cupping it in the farthest primary feather. She spread the wing out and as far from her as possible, before chucking the bounce ball towards the cashier, quickly ducking back behind the guitar stand, strumming the strings of the guitar to make it look like she hadn't done anything.

The bounce ball shot through his paper, making a hole in it and hitting him in the nose. She smirked at his sudden stream of profanity, loud enough to burn the ears off an old lady. He immediately got up, stalking to where the ball had come from, which was conveniently six or seven feet away from Sere, since she had scooted some after throwing the ball. She picked up the guitar, standing up quietly but staying down in a crouche position, waiting till the man had moved behinid another rack of guitars before slowly creeping towards the door, holding her new prize by the neck as she opened the door. She let it shut with a soft thunk, before making a mad dash down the alley and around the corner, quick as she could; She heard a shout behind her, as she heard the door open and quick footsteps. Damnit, I think he saw me... Can't identify me though, unfortunate b*****d, only saw my boot most likely... She thought as she hightailed it down the street, making a turn whenever one was available. She was running for at least ten minutes, a stich forming in her side, causing her to breath heavily due to the sudden excercise her limbs were getting.

Finally she stopped running, the guitar still in her hands. She dropped the guitar unceremoniously on a nearby bench, bent double with her hands resting on her knees as she panted heavily. *Huff* Damn, think I *Huff* lost him... *Huff* She thought, falling onto the bench, her arms hanging over the back. Once she caught her breath, she sat up, pulling her new guitar onto her lab, tracing her fingers over the shiny black finish. Hmm, what to say if "mum" asks...? Ah, ******** that, just gonna tell her to bug off... Would rather say something else, but don't wanna get grounded for the rest've my ******** life, now do I? She asked herself, strumming the strings one last time before standing up, fiddling with the strings of her bag for a few minutes till she managed to slide the guitar into the strings, suspending it and causing it to lay flat across her back as she slowly backtracked till she got to familiar streets before heading home...

Sere was sitting on her bed, one knee tucked close to her chest while her other leg was straight out on the bed, and she was leaning agaisnt the wall where her bed was shoved into the corner. Her guitar was sitting on her lap, while she let her fingers idly pick away at the chords. Someone actually wants to listen to this s**t...? The angel though, remembering her meeting with the green-haired demon-girl a little while ago, when they had went to some random coffee shop across from where other people were playing in the snow. Sighing slightly, she gently laid the guitar on the bed-sheets before reaching under her pillow to pull out her diary. Can't believe I still keep this shitty thing... She thought, making a face while pulling out a pen from behind her ear, from when she had been writing down whatever notes she played.

-Diary-
I can't believe I'm still ******** writing in this... Anyways. Just trying to put together a song, though it probably sounds shitty. And some girl actually wants to listen to them. I met her a while ago, back when there was still snow on the ground, and we went to a coffee shop since the snow was freezing my a** off. Some damned old couple wouldn't stop staring; havn't they seen a ******** angel before? Ah, well. Zuko got to turn the charm on a bunch of kids, the damned *****. And I might have a new groupie. Ha, shouldn't get my hopes up, right?
-Sere-

Sere finished writting with a skrit-skrit of her pen, before she tossed the book into the corner of the room, shifting through the few papers she had written down her semi-decent songs on. Might as well give the other girl, Alida, a run for her money. Ha, as if she's paying... Sere thought sourly, picking up a small folder of papers covered in music staffs and her little, scrawling music notes, and sitting back down on the bed to continue picking away tunes.
