Remia smiled, watching the flits play for a moment. "I'm fine, but I seem to get busier every day," she smiled, shaking her head and rolling her eyes.
"Trith is fine. Right now she's sunning out in the bowl, it'll be awhile yet before it's bathtime. So I'm putting my bit of "free" time to use with trying to solve the problem of my senior apprentice project." Remia sighed, and held out the scrap of hide to Orana.
On it were several rough sketches of a rectangle with vague dragon shapes arranged about it. Some were crossed out, others had question marks near them. The hide had the look of one that had been scraped clean several times already, so it was obvious it wasn't new.
"I want to give this to the weyrwoman when I'm done... if it passes, but... Originally, the two on the ends were going to be the Queen and a brown, representing Ariath and Tallith, but... well, M'xan's the Weyrleader now, and I'm sure we all know how they get along. What do you think I should do?" she sighed after laying out the problem, and shrugged her shoulders.

"Me as well, I am training an apprentice, as well as doing my other duties as a candidate and a smith." Orana nodded "she does like that doesn't she" Orana said 'she' meaning Trith. Orana took the hide and examined it seeing the draconic shapes etched out upon it. "This is very good Remia. You have some great Ideas" Orana nodded her head offering encouragement to her friend. "Why don't you just have Arieth?" She suggested.
Orana had a real dislike to the new Weyrleader M'xan He was very infuriating ever since she met it at the last hatching she has always hated him and his other two friends. Blyir was candidate master too; Orana hated having to put up with her. Orana Ran her fingers through her hair again.
"As for what you should do..." Orana paused "Do what you think is the best." she smiled.

Remia nodded. She would have to decide for herself. She sighed.
"I don't want to leave a bronze out. I want to show all the colors. So I have to do all of them. It's just the placement that is at issue. I suppose I should honor the current state, as well as the way things usually are. After all... a brown doesn't often win out," she said.
She wasn't completely happy with it, but she would have to live with it.
"Oh, by the way... I saw another queen like Malathan as I came here. She was with someone... somewhat familiar. You didn't see them at all, did you?" she asked. Remia thought that Orana might know who it had been, if she had caught a better look and had been paying attention.

"Its alright Rime" she smiled trying to reassure her "Whatever you decide it will be the right choice." Orana nodded undertsandingly, there was to bee a Threadfall soon and Orana had a flamethrower in the works. "Well then" she paused again to think about what would fit in Rimes design "I'd place it in the center and have the other colors around them." she said "But I am only a smith" Orana Added quickly.
Orana's thee flots had dissapeard to go listen to music played by the harpers.
