Orael sighed, nodding.
"They get killed. There is a sanctuary to the east where Aryon Yetjur and her parents' spirits remain. Aryon has this ability to possess people, whether dead or alive, but she can't seem to do it to people with stronger wills, and has a bit of difficulty with people who are alive. She takes them to her sanctuary and kills them. That's why the smell of rotting flesh and blood always blows here...because the wind carries it here." Orael looked away. "I found an enchantment to keep evil spirits from coming into this library, but if the door goes out of the circle around it, the spell will be broken, so we can't open the door very widely."

The group of people that were fighting one another had ceased. The bitter smell of blood, stained the site with animosity.
"A presence, the last of the descendants is somewhere nearby in this village." Aryon muttered. "Time is running out."

Liea crossed his arms and thought for a moment. "Now... these people she kills, and when they are under her conrol, are they hostile? Will they try to lure us out of the library to attack us?"

"That, I don't know...they say that Aryon prefers to kill those that have wronged her herself." Orael replied, "So I assume that if she's going to lure us out, she'll try to kill us ourselves..."

"Strange... Just now i heard something outside...." He turned facing the door, as if something was waiting on the other side. He slowly started to ball his fists and head back to the door. He put on hand on the handle, his other fist was still in a fist. "How far can this door open without it breaking the seal?" He asked in a low whisper.

"The gap between it and the doorframe is a little less than ten inches." Orael informed, and looked at the door. "You do know that there's one of those 'peepholes' you can look through, right?"

Liea nodded. "Yeah... I know..." There was a sign of fear in his voice. "But... if there is something on the other side of the door... I would rather beat it than look at it." He slowly inched his face closer to the peephole and looked out. He didnt see anything so his guard dropped. "Nothing..." Just as he finished he saw a shadow darted past the ground. Liea jumped back, falling on his rump and yelped. "Ah! Stupid little rodent!!" Just quickly as he fell he stood up. ".... Do you normally get this creepy chill run down your spine when you come near this door? I could have sword I heard something out there..." He shook off the odd feeling that came about him. This was something he wasnt expecting.

"Sadly enough, all the time. Ever since people started disappearing, the chill went everywhere. It's just here now because the only living people left are in this library...except Meyara, I suppose...so for Beoran's sake, I hope she's okay..." Orael sighed, looking up at the ceiling. "So many books...and yet there are so few that can help us now..."

"This... sucks..." Liea walked away from the door, he was starting to feel very uncomfortable around it. "But I guess you guys can only last so long with any supplies you have right now..." He turned around and looked at Orael. "This... seal that protects us... will it weaken over time? Or will it stay strong?"

"I don't know...I assume it will weaken, since all things will. And...if we need supplies...then...I suppose we'll have to figure this all out before they run out." Orael shook her head, feeling stressed.

He walked back over towards the door. "Well... I cant just stand here and do nothing. Im gonna go take a look around." He opened the door just enough so he could slip out and then closed it behind him. "I should be good unless they pull out any guns on me... But they're zombies, zombies dont have guns." He joked. He looked to the side and saw wet foot prints along the stone stairs. He quickly balled his fists and looked around, the smell of dead was really strong, the thing that made the footprints was still here.

Orael sighed, and followed, holding the halberd in an offensive position.
"Moron...Aryon has the ability to control the minds of people..." she hissed. "Can you fight back her powers?"

He chuckled and looked at her. "There is more to martial arts then physical training. It takes a lot of mental work too, she would have better luck taking me head on then inside my own head." He started to follow the footprints, they seemd to become more fresh as he followed them further away from the library untill they stopped. Liea looked around, there was nothing to jump on, or anywhere to hide. How could they end here? Can they teleport. "Wierd..."

"...What's weird?" Orael asked curiously, nonchalantly twirling her halberd behind her.

"They just stop here... when they were really fresh. There is no place for them to jump to, and they couldnt sprout wings and fly away" He looked up not seeing anything in the sky. "But it is still here, I can smell it..." He closed his eyes and listened for any movement, whether it be a stray animal or movement in the allies.
