Keme smiled happily as she admired the bracelet, glad he made the choice. He wrapped his arms around her waist loosely, silently liking the fact he was basically a head taller then her, made him feel like he could protect her like this. He smiled softly as he lowered his head and planted his lips gently on hers, murring softly.

Relm sighed softly into the kiss, glad for his arms around her waist as she melted against him. It was almost funny, how she felt so complete -so content- in his embrace.
When the kiss ended she fluttered her eyes open. "That's it... you're what's missing, Hummer. I can't bottle a piece of you for my bracelet, but maybe I can find a little hummingbird..." She smiled at Keme almost dreamily.
"But now it's your turn." Slipping her hand into her pocket Relm pulled out a green wrapped box with blue ribbons, none the worse for wear from having been in her pocket. It was roughly the size of two paperback books bound together. Now it was Relm's turn to be anxious, as she held the present between them for Keme to take.

That got Keme to thinking and maybe he could go to the shop Moochi owned and search around for any bird that was looking for someone, anyone to take it home. Rikku was certainly thrilled to have a Lil' Wing of her own, maybe he could find one that resembled him for Relm.
Storing those thoughts away for later, he looks down at the gift Relm holds out for him and he slowly takes it and starts to unwrap it, untying the ribbon first and then taking off the wrapping. Once he gets it off, he gaps at what he sees in his hands.

Inside the box are two smaller packages. One had a silver rectangle with 20 GB printed across the bottom. The other had a small ipod. Both had Keme's name lightly engraved in save places on their metallic surfaces, and both packages had clearly been opened already though the job seemed carefully done. Underneath them, a small case with earbuds wound inside.
The corner of Relm's mouth quirked in a nervous smile. "I, uh, had to open the packages to get the music on them. And engrave them." A flash of worry added to her anxious look. "I forgot to ask Ginny if there's a computer at your place... for if you want to change the songs or add songs or something." She blushed, hoping Keme would not think her gift silly. "I, uh, went through Trel's music collection & put all my favorites & some I just thought you'd like on the harddrive. It's really easy once you know what to do..."
Relm pointed shakily at the ipod. "Only a few are on there right now. Ones for us." Her voice was shaking a little too now, wanting to explain & a little afraid to stop talking. "The Search is Over, All of My Life, Open Arms, At the Beginning, I'll Always Come Back to You..." Her words trailed off & her blush deepened. "Actually I, um, sang a version of that last one... it's not that great... but I wanted to..."
She looked up at Keme. She had needed to. Even when she had run away Relm had come back. She knew now she always would. "It sounds funny though... it's supposed to be a duet..."

Keme stared down at the IPod and the harddrive with wide eyes, his mouth hanging open and his eyes wide with wonder. He looks at Relm as she explains what she did and the songs she put on it for them. He is quiet for another few more moments, but soon a smile spreads across his face, chuckling lightly as she stares at his gift and back to her.
"Relm I.....I love!! This is perfect!!" He says, his voice wavering in happiness as some of his own tears start to come to his eyes. "Y-yea, Moochi has a computer, she wouldn't mind if I used to go get more songs.....wow, I never thought I would have one of these! Thank you!!!" he says, minding his gifts, and he wraps his arms around her, hugging her close.

Her arms wrap around his waist as Relm hugs him tight, the tension of worry slowly starting to seep from her. She closes her eyes, leaning her cheek against his chest. "I-I'm so glad you like it Keme."
A shuddering breath escaped her as she laughed lightly. "Although you do know now, I don't think I'll ever be able to come up with another gift for you after this!"

He chuckles lightly as he nuzzles the top of her head lovingly, purring, "It's fine Relm, this is fantastic!! Will you sing your song for me?" he asks, pulling back and leading her to the tree, grabbing her around her waist gently and easily hoisting her up onto a branch where there was no snow on it. Soon he hoists himself up next to her, hanging his legs over the branch.

She blushed, having had a feeling he would ask that of her. The blush deepened as Keme lifted her onto the tree branch, leaving Relm feeling very small being lifted like that. Also very loved & cherished.
Relm fingered the charms on her bracelet lovingly, her head nodding softly as she looked at her sparkling gift. Then she raised her face with a smile at Keme. "Only for you."
Smoothing out the fabric of her harem pants over he calves Relm straitened her back & breathed in without raising her shoulders as Trelweny made sure all in her family who could sing did. Softly, Relm began the mid-tempo ballad, very glad the song was in her range. Her voice altered slightly when she shifted to the other "part" but even then she kept a soft, sure tone.

He relaxs himself, smiling in anticipation at hearing her sing. He closes his eyes as he lets the sound of her singing voice wash over him, a soft smile spreading across his face. He opens his eyes when she stops and he gazes back at her, all the love he holds for her shining in his own brown eyes. He takes her hand into his gently, "I love you Relm..." he says softly.

Relm curls her fingers slightly, weaving her fingers with his & half wishing they were not wearing gloves. "And I love you, Keme."
Smiling, her tail sways gently where it dangles off the branch behind her. She gives Keme an almost shy smile. "Now what?"

Keme chuckled lightly as he pulls his gift from her from his pocket, "Well, how bout you show me how this works!! I've always seen them, but I never thought of getting one!! Then we can listen to the ones you put on there for us!" he says, his eyes sparkling in excitement.

"Hm? Okay!" Smiling Relm inches closer to the hummingbird male so that they can both look at the small ipod at the same time. "Well using the ipod itself is easy! Once the musics there you just hook up the cord thingies for sound and hit play."
"It's a little harder to figure out how to move the songs around, but there's instructions for that & you need the computer. Or at least I did." As she talked Relm scooched closer until she could rest her head on his chest.

Keme took the ipod out of the box and took out the headphones, hooking it up properly. He listens intently, noticing she was very close, but he certainly didn't mind in the least! He puts his arm around her waist gently, kissing the top of her head.

Relm sighed happily, closing her eyes at the kiss to her head. She listened happily to Keme's heartbeat as she snuggled beneath his arm. "The songs on the ipod are all kinda... mushy." The pictomancer apologized softly. "I was in a... " Relm blushed deeply. "I guess a mushy mood when I put them on. There's more fun songs on the harddrive, though you won't get to check them out til you get home."

Keme chuckled lightly and shooks his head, "It's ok Relm, I won't ever take them off." he says lightly, turning it on and looking it over, putting one of the earbuds under a headphone, turning his song down for now so he could listent to what she put on it.
