how save cloud wean a gun shot aT CLOUD
...you mean how do you save cloud from being shot?......ummm...make a barrier? use cover materia?
do you mean who saved cloud? do you mean escaping soldier? (your thread kinda helped explain the question. lol)
sweatdrop anyways, Zack helped Cloud escape the shinra mansion when cloud was suffering from mako poisoning. (poor cloud). Zack protected cloud since cloud couldn't fight for himself (he had mako poisoning). later, the shinra soldiers found them and Zack was shot and killed. (poor Zack). he told cloud to run. Cloud, however, still had mako poisoning. the soldiers left him to die and didn't shoot him. (luckily cloud didn't die.) Cloud took Zacks sword. the buster sword that he uses at the beginning of the game, was originally Zacks.
