Me and my friend call them 'smigets'. Don't ask, I don't know, but ever since we were in high school, that's what we called 'em.
Squares, coffin nails, cancer sticks, inhalers, everyone else I know calls them by those names.

i call them cancer sticks, nicotine sticks, death sticks, smokables, fags ect
i would never say 'can i bum a f**'. where i come from 'bumming' a f** is when you wet the filter with saliva. not nice >.<
my friend calls lighters flashtyflashes ^^

I mostly just call them cigarettes. If I'm talking to certain friends, I'll say something like, "Want some cancer?" I know a lot of people that call them squares, though."I just wanna live. Well, to answer your question about
why people call them Squares. Yes, it is
because of the pack. That's what their called
all over the place where I live.
Though I myself just stick to calling them
Cigarettes. Even when I was underage around
my parents. They new the entire time.
And since I was smoking since 15, they didn't
try to STOP me from smoking, but they never would
allow me to around them.
Now that I'm of age though, it makes no difference.
I can smoke wherever. And have no need to come up
with an excuse.
Though me and a bunch of friends did call
Marijuana 'Chicken' for a while. =/
